Excellent video, Jere! I have used SO MANY English wheels that have interference problems with the axle and/or lower yoke, and in most cases, it's not too hard to fix this issue. Good to see you using Zig-Zag rolling paper for measuring small distances. I used that a lot in my younger days!
Ron, I (as you) will take the time to remedy a problem, or make a tool, if it will increase efficiency or produce a better part. Plus you wind up with a new tool.

I like how you did that assuring the flats were 180 degrees apart. Thanks for the tip.
Be sure to use the grease. It keeps the pieces stuck together while moving them around.
