Common Grass Carp Fishing in Los Vaqueros.

Habitat Preference:
Grass Carp prefer shallow, abundantly vegetated waters of lakes, ponds, and backwaters of large rivers. They require riverine environments with long reaches, high water volume, turbulent flow, and warm water temperatures (66 to 84 °F) to successfully reproduce. Grass carp can tolerate a wide range of water temperatures (near freezing during the winter and near 100°F during the summer), low oxygen levels, and brackish water.

Awesome bro! So 3-way swivel that has 3-4 inch leaders - 3 hooks. Did he also put corn on the other 2 leaders or just 1 leader? I still need to get on my first carp. CARP ON!! 🤙

Nice catch. Wish you had C&R the carp. But good video. Carp are the best game fish in our area imo. Just wish more people would not treat them as invasive species. Tight lines man! 👍👍

Thanks brother man. I do understand your advocacy in regards to this species, however they are invasive species to this part of the country. Some part of California regulations states, must behead carp when caught. Thanks again for watching and tight lines.
