Since you didn't weigh it, that would make a great giveaway contest. Guess the weight down to 3 decimal places. The whole hammer not just the head.

Awesome! i LOVE the peak behind the curtains of theese production processes from designing making jigs learning from the "mistakes" and the joy it brings when things work out! SO SO SO GOOD!

a great way to make a beautiful handle finish is to use a torch and burn a nice brown color to the wood and then finish with boiled linseed oil.

That's a very nice looking hammer!
And the sound it makes on the anvil is lovely.
You could chamfer the sharp edge on the inside of the eye to prevent the wood from chipping and breaking.
(That's what I have done with all my hammers)

my dream hammers im gunna make myself are gunna be a Mjollnir for all around work and a Stormbreaker with a strain pein, but as functional smtihing hammers. id love to make a traditional thors hammer shaped one with 2 cross peins cuz the shape of it would be perfect for that but idk how functional that one would be

As a beginning blacksmith, even a "junk" hammer would be a great addition to the non existent tools a blacksmith will need. Especially if it came from a great blacksmith.

Make some kiss blocks for the power hammer. It’ll make forging the hammer to the correct dimensions a lot faster

Possible to buy one of your rejects? Even if it’s not perfect it would still be an improvement over the hammer I’m using now. Big fan or your work and enjoy watching the process.

I like for my hammer to have the "chubby cheeks" It looks more "hand forged" and raw and plus it stays thick.. I like it like that. A more custom looking hammer, rather than the same old square corner simpleton. That's just me. I like to have the tools that were made ultra efficiently with the LEAST amount of steps and are still very raw from the process. Rustic and 'unfinished, basically. Something, you can tell, that didn't come from the factory floor. Something full of flaws.. I do like how yours turned out though. Nice and clean; Just not my preference

What do you think about grinding the face the radius from the center of gravity? The same on the crosspeen. That should give the hammer minimun side recoil even if you tilt the hammer.

Really not enough information in this video
Clearly there's supposed to be something special here, but the process and result just look like a standard mass produced machinists hammer
