Man i started watching chase back during the ds3 weapon showcases and ive always been impressed by his mastery of the fundamentals in combat

@@sucinistrobut they aren't? He's uploaded several videos with invasions that have a competent host or team. He either gets lucky with a combo or they get rocked from PVE.

Rotten duelist greataxe with blood infused cragblade will reach 1080 ar and proc bleed in 1 hit on unarmored enemies and 2 hits on the heaviest armored enemies, stamp uppercut charged heavy and they're dead, if not get the crit for a 3rd attack and bingo

Honestly? Claymore day would be an excellent time to have fun with your friends. It's a one-shot build, but it's a pretty fair oneshot build. If you're eating a fully-charged R2 from a claymore, you messed up.
This isn't the kind of invasion build that's going to punish you for not playing meta or knowing about every weapon art in the game or anything like that, so I'd much rather be invaded by this. Edit: compare with his Death Ritual Spear video, for instance. 100% prefer getting invaded by a charged R2 claymore build to getting invaded by that hot nonsense.

It's not the invaders fault if people don't level vigor when they should and I'm serious. If the host just walked into the fog door Chase and any other invader would've been sent home. Don't know why you're glazing over that rather important detail, it's always technically a gank if it's 2 or 3 people against 1 person. And most invaders aren't as skilled as Chase or Fighter. I doubt you've won any PvP fights in FromSoft games with zero knowledge of optimal builds. I know personally I won at least 1 in DS3 just me and 2 invaders in the PvP hotspot before the arena was added. It's not easy dealing with the 2 gator rat dog things by the Aldrich covenant bonfire, especially when you barely know what you're doing. Most of the time odds are stacked against the invaders cause hosts have more HP and healing than you do as an invader a lot of the time. And as an invader you need much higher situational awareness than you need for just doing PvE. It's not a bad thing for an invader to use the PvE against the host and their phantoms and any blues that pop in. Not to mention it's the intended goal of the invader to kill the host, it's the main reason why they're a thing in Souls games

Hammers have hyperarmor could be a fun video. Stone club, nox flowing hammer, ringed finger, great mace, and pickaxe are all really fun weapons for poise trading.
My high poise fashion is knight helm, tree sentinel armor, crucible gauntlets, and bull-goat greaves.

This reminds me of a build i made in bloodborne. I used moonlight stacked with piercing dmg cursed gems. The r2 one hand is exactly like the claymores. If you fully charged it, you had accessed to a follow-up r2 with insane multipliers. The r2 uncharge comes out really fast, too. And it does exclusive piercing damage in the r2s.
If i remember correctly, the claymore in elden Right also has a follow-up.... I might have to hop back on....

I tried royal night resolve recently on a faith build with a flame art banished knight greatsword. With the right talismans + flask the jumping attack combo was always a KO

I remember maining claymore with RKS on my pyromancer build. It has crazyass dmg with fire and peps would always dmg how I could do so much dmg on duels. Of course this was way back when greatswords werent anyway near meta.
