There are 68 NPCs and all of them are the strongest version if they have more than one.
The order of appearance will be based
on the NPC's health

I find it hilarious that Kenneth went from fighting unarmed, non-combatants to suddenly finding himself against Henricus.

@@SmorgasLord while it's fair to think so, it'd wouldn't make much sense. Roderika didn't even know she could do all that with spirits, and after learning that, she never really had an opportunity to leave the Roundtable and obtain spirits of her own.

Any walk through the Raya Lucaria halls should teach you that. T.T Also, I'm pretty sure he had a light roll? Glinstone crowns really only slow you down.
I can't pretend like I didn't get mad about that one at first simply because lore-wise, it makes no sense. But then I remembered my panic move is spamming Comet and was like ah shit, carry on then 🤣

There’s a sort of poetic justice, seeing Sellen get her butt handed to her by Thops, who only used the most basic spell, while her more advanced spells kept missing or took to long to fire.
I care not what others will say about him, but Juno ate and left no crumbs. Nerijus simply taught him that his tale truly was written in blood.
Damn I was so proud of Thops. Thought he was for sure getting crushed by Sellen. He never moved past the basics- and in turn mastered them. My fuckin dawg.

Also Vargram doing the Bloodhounds Finesse with the godslayer sword was something I didn’t know I desperately needed.

In the elden ring lore i’m pretty sure there were ONLY 20 Carian Knights, and they alone held back Radagon’s armies, despite being outnumbered literal hundreds to one.

Sometimes I think about how Elden Ring's story would play out if the player character never arrived. Nepheli Loux would easily become Elden Lord in our stead.

Some of these npc’s are whipping out CRAZY moves! Silver tear using Loretta’s Slash but with a colossal sword, Vargram doing a mix between Bloodhound’s Fang AoW and the Black Flame tornado? Insane!
That critical on Patches was hella satisfying.
Bernahl kept using that god-awful Ash of War and still won a bunch of fights. He's truly fit to be Elden Lord, it seems.

What do you mean, it's what carried him. While it is a bad AOW in pvp, it is usefull here as it restores health.
Ironic how all of the 4 strongest Tarnished that could've probably become Elden Lord (Bernhal, Vyke, Dung Eater and Gideon) all turned away from the Golden Order for different reasons each.

Poor Nephali, if only she knew how to use her decent stat spread. She spent a lot of time whiffing and trying to reorient herself to face Berhn.
And poor Tragoth. Very poor stat allocation. Used all your points to be able to carry all that gear without fatrolling, but each of your hits was like tickling the enemy.
Nepheli also had poor stat allocation (at least for this). She put so much into vigor that she couldn’t even compete in the first place

There's something monumentally wrong in Thops killing Sellen so easily, being her one of the most promising magicians in the academy on par with masters Lusat and Azur; and him, just a low level bald dude who don't even have a key to open the door of his house and that begs for a couple of cheap coins.

I think it would have been better to just not include unarmed NPC’s in order to better fill out the roster with armed ones. Just have a free for all with the unarmed ones afterward

Bernahl is just that good. Let me tell tou, summoning him for Godskin Duo is the best thing ever. He can almost solo them. All you need to do is keep healing and buffing him. Also, I expected Nepheli to win because if you do her questline she is the perfect counter for Godfrey. Just heal her and she is good.
