A Rail Road rail or a tie chain to the tires would help. We drag a piece of train track behind a tractor some times but we also have a heavy harrow wire thing that probably weighs 500lb or more and not those pieces of craps you see in tractor-supply.
@@ronnierivera3991 Good and since you mention ArmstrongAg I think our is ArmstrongAG also but the older type. I'm pretty sure it's way north of 500lb in weight it does do that good with Tx black clay dirt but softer soil types it works like a charm.
I really don’t seem why it would matter. I would try and put close to the same size on the row. I am actually going to ad another row or two. Someone suggested that I do it. But I work for a truck dealership so I am going to get the old tires off the next truck.

Last thing Id ever do is to laugh at a farmer/farm hand busy inventing something. I love this idea.
Two cattle panels with some weights added do a great job also ! Placed........the long way pulling them.

I actually added a piece of 12” c channel, I also have a 7’ Armstrong chain drag. I am looking into buying a 20’ chain drag. Thanks for watching!!

@@kfelix2934 I live se of San Antonio so most of my soils are sandy loam. I haven’t had any land with black dirt since I was a kid in Hallettsville.
The farmers here all build them like bowling pins at the bowling alley . A lead tire to pull and the rest wider just like the bowling alley

I’d like to do something similar.
Just add more tires in a pyramid shape. I have gotten a few comments stating that. After I looked into it, it’s the best way to go.
