Really love this game. Im 46 hours in and im on chapter 9 lol. I keep getting distracted by side quests and Queens blood game. Its so fun

The writing in this game is incredible.
I've never seen the level of skill and resources put into presenting a love story in the world of video games.
This remake (all the episodes), with the development of this romance, has brought something never before seen in a video game!
I'm also a fan of films and books, and the portrayal of the love between Cloud and Aerith as experienced through a video game brings a real sense of freshness.
Thanks to all the team who worked on this game, which will leave a mark on the cultural history of mankind.
I hope we'll see them start a family at the end of the game, and that we'll get to see their children.

The cutscenes and stories you brought to life are a work of art and the gameplay is so well thought out and designed with so much content! You and your team created a master piece! I have a short list of 10/10 games and this one just got bumped to the top of that list.

Just finished it today.
What a journey, had me reliving my childhood sat in front of my box TV and PS1, with the good times and sad times.
It will be a long wait to see how this familiar yet unique storyline concludes with Part 3.
Where does "Rebirth" end btw? Compared to OG FF7, that is?
@@gotinogaden Rebirth ends where Disk 1 ended in the original game.
I assume the game to come next will encompass disks two and three and should be the end of the Remake storyline.
Did u do all the side quests and mini games? I'm in junon, although I'm a bit burnt out trying to complete everything. I kinda want to just finish the story for now and return later but I get fomo lol
@@biohazard737 i did all grasslands and half of junon before i solely focused on the main story only. Im now casually playing hard mode and clearing all the side content I skipped.

Just finished the game and I can easily say that this is one of the best games I've ever played.
The game is a blast, so much content to do, stopped at chapter 4 for now, absolutely love it! Hope that you guys do a justice to the Final Fantasy IX Remake! You'll 100% need to appoint the devs who's worked on the original, ESPECIALLY -- Hiroyuki Ito-san! He's need to be director again, look at his amazing work with FF XII The Zodiac Age! And after that it'll be amazing if you make him to develop a new mainline FF game. I hope we'll get back to the roots with the new strong foundation, you don't need to take RPG out of the series.
It makes me really happy tat someone like Hamaguchi-san who has a genuine love for video games and has been heavily influenced by FF VII is now in charge of the Remake project! After experiencing the first two games, I feel confident that the series is in great hands! I wouldn't mind if he was given full reins for more remake projects in the future, starting with VIII, with Kitase, Nojima and Nomura in more supervising roles. That would be amazing!
Thank you to everyone in Square-Enix for this incredible game. I finished it after 2 weeks and 70 hours. It was fun, it was hard, it was emotional, it was long, it was exhausting, but it was all worth it. Wish you and the team the best. Hope to see the next one soon.
Greetings from Latin America! This game is so great. It improves on every aspect of "FFVII Remake". The story remains very faithful while still having some interesting changes that aren't incoherent. The music is beautiful and the combat system is so much better and fun. I really like the world map and all the minigames. Thank you very much for this game and all the team's hard work.

Ignore what the haters say, or the purists or whomever. Finish what you've started. The new storyline is insanely cool, complex, confusing, perplexing, yet it's fantastic! Hopefully-.... we have something of a clear solution to ask- how can the world be saved, both with the savior still being alive?

Hamaguchi-san with CBU1 showing the whole company the way forward, setting the bar so high in so many aspects that it's still hard to believe the game even exists. I really hope top management draws all the right lessons from its success and that the game has put many more talented people into the limelight within the company

@SalGoodguy Rebirth beat it only in terms of graphics and soundtrack. The Remake/Rebirth story is full of multiverse gimmick trying to make Zack, Aerith and Sephiroth front and center of everything. Also a whole load of flying sperm intervening at every "alternate timeline" plothole.
Hamaguchi really GOATED himself with this one. Masterpiece. THANK YOU SQUARE AND PLAYSTATION FOR REMAKING THIS SPECIAL GAME! My father gave FFVII on PS1 on my 12th birthday. It changed my life. I have 3 children now my oldest daughter is 12 and although my father passed in 2019 - it’s magical reliving the story with my children. 🙏🏽

IV has a sequel. VII has a prequel game, a sequel movie, a spin-off game, and a remake trilogy. X has a sequel. XII has a sequel. XIII has a prequel novella, a sequel game and a spin-off game. XV has a prequel movie, a prequel anime, a “sequel” novel…
(Tactics and XII also co-exist within the same exact world.)

Just like the “FF7 compilation” those who hate the new stuff will turn a blind eye to the new Kingdom Hearts stuff.
It’s not hard to understand, however it’s clear that as of today most people who finished the game were to sleep deprived to listen to Sephiroth giving a complete lecture on the multiverse when Cloud was falling after Aerith pushed her at the church.
And Rebirth also killed the conspiracy theories. There is no “Advent Children Sephiroth”, what there is a MULTIVERSE OF SEPHIROTH THAT KNOW THE FF7 SCRIPT! Not 2 Sephiroths but rather a multiversal threat.
So yeah. If you engage with a lot of gaming media, FF7 Resequel isn’t complicated… DOESNT CHANGE THE FACT ITS DUMB! Le multiversus, so pretentious!
So yeah, lifestream now has the data of the entire multiverse within it… I’ll keep that concept far away from the original FF7.

I prefer Cloud with Aerith or at least make Aerith to live.Everyone has a story line they love which is not about selfish or keeping the original story intact, it is about we all expecting things good in these days. Now is no longer 1997 the value, the mindset and global environment totally different. people need more positive and faith for good. Multi ending in part 3 would be more appreciated than just let the player day dreaming in the DLC.

i dont like this "balanced" approach they did this with ff16 trying to balance out rpg and spectacle fighter elements and it was just mediocre at best. I wish they would commit to one vision instead of trying to please everyone. I beat ff7 rebirth and i will say there were LOTS of up and down moments
Kitase, Hamaguchi and Nojima completely destroyed the original story in FF7 Rebirth (it looks even worse than FF7 Remake).

This is not the type of remake that fans have been asking you to do.
Why does Square Enix push Final Fantasy so hard here but barely even talk about Dragon Quest? The far superior series gets no attention from the studio that publishes the game.
