Currently only two OEMs available for wind turbine PS. Each of this turbine cost more then one crore depends on watts(price based on past 10 years data).
Simply we cannot install wind turbines any where, it requires some forecast on wind flow.
Also the efficiency is quite low, one cannot completely depend on wind turbine, so the cost increases along with manintaince.
Best example is Pollachi area in tamilnadu, which has more wind turbines installed. Only because of wind forecast, this is important parameter to be considered.
it's difficult to install for each and every house.

Domestic wind turbine manufacturer should specify the following: 1) minimum wind velocity at which turbine can deliver power 2) Over speed protection due to winds and gales 3) Over voltage protection due to high speed of wind turbine 4) whether the structure can with stand the wind velocity of 150 kilometres per hour. 5) Total cost including battery, sales tax, excise duty, transportation and erection cost etc.

* what if there are cyclonic winds !? They can instantly kill many.
* Burning of the electrical turbine inside due to high speeds.
*What if the wind comes in opposite direction ? it generates reverse current which is dangerous for electrical appliances .
Once if they can solve all these this can be adapted across India in large scale

1)if generator is ac, then no problem.
2)if generator is dc, they will have bridge rectifiers inside
@Ganesh I know that AC currents look similar but not there is the issue of phase difference with which it will be fed to appliances that will cause issue .This is taken care in large designs but don't know about this miniature design
FYI bridge rectifiers are used in Low power cases as they are electronic devices
