    Well done. Well made. I never thought about processing the audio from my iPhone in Audacity. I just try to tweak it in FCP.

      Ayy thanks man I appreciate u. Probably works equally good, FCPx has some great audio filters/EQ options and if you have Logic it adds some plugins to your FCP as well! Thanks man

    Good vibes dude. This vlog was so smooth for a YT guide lol sad I have that gear lol I hate that the gorilla pod needs a coin swap out...The rode gives a higher dynamic range without editing but need something cheap they work just got to know how to edit.

      Heyy thank you William! Yea, that Rode mic is solid, I'm trying to figure out a good way to process the audio in FCPx, still working on that though! Thanks for coming through!

      ARXV Photo I’m not too familiar with fcpx I use Adobe which I can eq, compression etc.. I’m sure final cut has that built in! No prob bro. You got the sauce!!

    Buen video, yo tengo ese mismo Mic y muchas veces sí está cerca de cámaras con conexiones activas, ejemplo wifi o Bluetooth toma un ruido de señal. Especialmente con el cable enroyado que trae. Te ha pasado?

    • @arxvphoto809
      @arxvphoto809  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gracias! No por ahora no he escuchado interferencia de señal en el audio. Pero tenia todo el wifi y bluetooth apagado para guardar batería.

    whats the difference of the Joby 3k KIT and the SLR ZOOM

    • @arxvphoto809
      @arxvphoto809  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dos Santiago the 3k kit is a little more rigid and can hold more weight. However it’s a little bigger, heavier and more expensive. So for vlogging I’d recommend the SLR Zoom.

    nice little setup! It didn't seem like the movement of the mic translate into the audio.

      Daniel! Yea man it's a solid little mic and the audio is great considering the price, the gorilla-pod added a bit of stability too! Thanks man!

    Thx for the video man! I got Canon 600D & I was planning to use the same setup (gorilla pod slr zoom + rode videomicro) but you talked about pre amp so, can I use videomicro with canon 600D. I'm in panic right now, in rode's site they say "No battery required (powered by camera plug-in power - min 3V)" but I couldn't find any info on canon's :( Please help!

    • @arxvphoto809
      @arxvphoto809  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Heyy Ferhat! So the issue with Canons is they do not provide power (preamp) through their mic jack. So, it MIGHT work but your audio will be low, and have a lot of noise/hiss after you raise levels in editing. So, go with the RODE VideoMicPro or any other shotgun mic that is battery powered! You'll be much better off that way. OR maybe switch your camera to a Sony, even an older model!

    Having to use your fingers or a coin to loosen the plate is a pain in the behind, I feel your pain

      You know the struggle, haha! Yea man they need to change that, because it tends to get loose over time too, otherwise it's a solid little rig!
