I love how you describe what you see when you close your eyes and smell the fragrance. I'm very much a floral gal. My top faves are Delina, Aerin Rose De Grasse, Chloe, Nest Dahlia and Vines, and Tom Ford Rose Prick.

My favorites this time of the year are Note de Yuzu (Heeley), Eau d’Hadrien (Goutal), Saint Julep (Imaginary Authors) and Deep Garden (Zara). I have just tried a sample of Aqua Universalis and so far so good 😉

Good morning from the UK 😊 Currently can't get enough of Pamplemousse Rhubarbe, a sadly discontinued EdT from L'Occitane. It's that perfect fresh balance between the grapefruit and the rhubarb, and it's absolutely perfect after a bath. Also loving Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte, Chanel Paris-Paris, FM Cologne Indelible, and TF Soleil Blanc.
My go to fragrance for spring summer has been SALT by Ellis Brooklyn which I think is fantastic for the warmer months. Very beachy/ SALT on the sand vibe and love layering with body oil or coconut body cream and spray mist. I walk out the door smelling like Pina Coladas !🍹 😎 And occasionally I wear a Rose scent fragrance but I’m not too big on florals. It really depends on the range of florals and type of flower that appeals to me. For the heavy hitters that I can wear in the summer is Chanel Chance and Jo Malone Velvet Rose and Oud for a night out or even date night. I’m not too crazy for fruit notes but I actually like citrus range scents like Lime Mandarin and Basil by Jo Malone. You look lovely Michele! We miss Miss Butters 💕💕
You're so good with your descriptions. I can detect subtleties in color, but not in smell. I couldn't describe a perfume's notes to save my life! Even when I read the descriptions and sniff at the same time, I'm like, huh, is that really pink pepper, is that really hyacinth? I can't tell what I'm smelling! One of the many reasons why I'm not a good cook. Lol.
The first fragrance I fell in love with was Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede. I've dabbled in more floral fragrances since the pandemic, but I love more yummy scents. I adore Noir by Tom Ford and I really got a lot of complements on Angel by Thierry Mugler when I wore it at 19. Still to this day is a favorite of mine. Zara has some nice fragrances that I've been enjoying lately as well. Their Nuit is just so yummy and nestles into the skin quite nicely I find.

Hi Michele, since last week I wanted to share 2 things with you One is my favourite summerscent Agua by Loewe, i think you will love that scent. 2 Arket has great blazers, especially the "hopsack" are great. They have different styles and the fabric is beautiful i especially like that you can wear them all year round. 💚💚💚
Per your recommendation I fell in love with the Hypnotizing Fire from The Harmonist... So I tried the Velvet Fire next and if you haven't tried it I think you'll like it😍
Hi Michele. Do you remember a perfume called Aliage? It was by Estee Lauder. It was my favorite spring/summer fragrance when I was in my 20s. Fond memories.
The My Way sounds delightful. Can you smell the Musk and vanilla?
The Sisley fragrance sounds amazing as well. Freesia is my favorite flower.
I'm into more warm scents. The original Bottega Veneta is really nice, also Chloé Nomade. Dolce and Gabbana The Only One, Anthropologie The Palm, and my very favorite Versace Crystal Noir. ❤❤
Le Labo Jasmine 17 is something I think you might like. Citrusy. Not too floral. A little bit of a tea note. It’s sunny and makes me smile and lasts and lasts.
Hi Michelle, My go to summer daytime fragrance is Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc EDT.
My favorite summer fragrance is Jo by Jo Loves. I love this citrus juice! 🍊 🍋
My recent favourites are Kurkdjian’s Aqua Celestia (juicy citrus) and Dior’s Miss Dior Rose Essence (light floral).
I love Jo Malone Peony Blush Suede (floral) and Burberry Her (berry).
After seeing how many bottles of perfume that you and I both love ( grapefruit, portrait of lady, pulp, tobacco mandarine, aventus etc ) I recommend you give Bamboo Harmony By Kilian a try. It's a dark rainy cold autumn day here, a day for tobacco mandarine but I put Bamboo Harmony on, I feel like the day just brighten up a bit. Clean, soft, citrusy, a touch of familiar from childhood but uncommon to find.

I’m going to check out the Jo Malone grapefruit cologne, but I did want to buy a small bottle of Creed Aventus for her. Only want to buy one because the season is short. I’ll also have to check out Aqua Universalis. One of my favorite summer scents is Aqua di Gioa from Armani.

Hey Michele 💖🌸💜 I just ordered Atelier Lemon Island Absolute. The description is lemon with a vanilla dry down and the reviews were very favorable, also it’s 40% off so I couldn’t resist. I’ve heard that Atelier is no longer going to be sold in the states so that’s also why I wanted to pick up something from Atelier. I picked up Jo Malone’s Bitter Mandarin along with Nest’s Orange Oil perfume and I layer them. I also got Jo Malone’s Sea Daffodil which is really lovely for summer I think. It has a sophisticated beach scent to it. I hope that made sense, I’m tired and about to fall asleep lol 😅😂

I am so surprised that I have such a similar taste in perfume as you! Big fan of citrusy fragrances! Highly recommend Aqua di Parma, they are so great! Also, I was wondering if you are interested in Lelabo 22 bergamot?
Michele, you should try Mizensir! For spring/summer I love Sweet Praline (ironically is not sweet and has no praline - it has jasmine, raspberry, incense, benzoin) but my absolute FAVORITE is Tres Chere! It’s a slightly salty vanilla with amber, sea notes, orange blossom, jasmine, and sandalwood. It’s so beautiful and elegant and reminds me of my family summers in the Hamptons and Martha’s Vineyard on the Atlantic. It’s not tropical at all, which i love. It might be the only fragrance I’m bringing with me this year! 🌊☀️👙🐚

Mizensir Geneve has a few try-out sets for $ 32.00. You can choose floral, woodsy, etc...I ordered tres chere as mentioned above by Elizabeth Holden.

And like the comment above me said, you can order a sample set from any of those stores (it’s in the Floral sample set) or if you just want to try a single decant you can order it from Scent Split in a few different sizes!
i love mizensir! i didn’t know about them until i was at bergdorfs recently and a representative asked me to try “for your love.” i wasn’t expecting much at the time but once i took a whiff it was love at first smell! they make such beautiful sophisticated scents and since the representative was so kind i always feel uplifted when spraying it on 😊
@@alessialing7848 I loved For Your Love too but I can’t do patchouli sadly - so I did more research and Mizensir Sweet Praline has a very similar scent profile (it also has raspberry, ambergris, and benzoin!) but it has jasmine and incense and hedione in it instead and no patchouli or musk. I’m SO glad I found and love that one! I’d you like FYL and jasmine you’ll probably love that one too!
I love Izïa La Nuit and wear it day or night. New favorite is Sugar by Franck Boclet… a fruity gourmand, but not sweet.

I have always preferred fresh, clean scents myself, especially one's that are woodsy and herbal, or aquatic. I tend to enjoy perfumes with a mint note. I know those are not the most popular ones, at least amongst women. I like the idea of smelling like a forest fairy haha.. I have been considering one from Diptyque called Orpheon which I think is a bit newer. It sounds like it would be a nice nature-y scent. I don't know if you have had a chance to sniff that one, or if you would be interested in it. I would surely love to hear your review on that one before making the decision to go for it or not!
I might me wrong, but I think she got that one on, her Advent Calendar from Diptyque.
Hakka from j-scent is a nice minty with floral and woody undertones perfume.

Not Michele but I *adore* Fracas. I didn't at first; it took several months for me to get over it's overwhelming great big whack of tuberose. A stunning white floral fragrance that lasts all day on me.
Byredo Pulp is one of my fave. If you love Pulp you will love Byredo Sundazed!

I love Armani Figuer Eden, it's super pretty, even though it's very light. My latest purchase was MFK Leau A la Rose, unfortunately too soapy for me.
I love Sisley Eau de Campagne as a herbal scent ... It's got quite vintage DNA.... Needs to age a bit.

I wish I heard your review before I bought Delina. It was my first blind parfumerie purchase and I am done with it. Delina was so intoxicated and too sweet for me, I had a terrible headache after spraying it. However we are all different, I know many people love this scent though.

Bobby brown used to make a perfume called beach… was my summer signature perfume.. smells like the beach for real … i wish they make it again

I like JO Malone but I find the fragrances just fade away on me too quickly.. Although pomegranate does stick around.. two old fashioned perfumes I like are White shoulders - very light but gorgeous and L'air du Temp (Nina Ricci).. and I also like YSL Paris..
