- In this video you're going to see exactly what drives the scooter error I was getting, what broke this scooter, and how I fixed it. I'm also going to show you a mistake I made and tell you how to do it the proper way. Also -there was more than just this E2 error, and if you stick with me to the end I'll show you how I fixed some screws that had just given up.

For anyone coming here with an H1-COMT (the Comet model) the only difference is that you don't take the grip off the same way as shown in the video, it's actually a left-handed thread piece that the grip is attached to. Just turn to the right (looking at the scooter) and it gives you access to the accelerator. Thank you for putting this video up!
Interesting! Thank you!
Love how you make videos. Looking forward to more

Excellent video Andi, as always! 👏
May I suggest a little enhancement/modification, to prevent handlebar shifting and shearing wires in the future? You can carefully drill two small holes in the handlebar on both sides of the centerpiece, and either use rivets or, if handlebar tube wall is thick enough, thread those drilled holes and use two short screws and thread lock. This will essentially lock handlebar in place, preventing it from shifting. 😀👍
Excellent advice Mara! Very similar to a cotter pin concept to keep things from coming loose. I like it. I found that the allen wrench screws that were supposed to keep the handlbar tight were not actually tight, thus the problem occured with it shifting. They are also very hard on these things as well, which was the primary cause. Most people probably wouldn't have had this issue had they treated their equipment well. Thank you for your suggestion, I love it!
Thank you for this video! I fixed up my volpam scooter! I didn't know I needed a female connecter rather than a male connecter, it was a easy fix!
I'm glad you were able to fix it!
Can you link where you got your tool to take off the screws? Thank you
Great video and very informative Thank you!
Quick question, I've tried to take the cover off of the LCD screen the way you demonstrated and stress fractured and almost broke it, is there anything I should be doing before I use the pliers to pry off?
Thank you, as I recall, start from the front of the screen cover and pop it up first. I think the rear of the cover unclips differently. But I grabbed at the top front from the two sides and twisted off slightly and it popped off
@@AndiWofford Thank you for the quick reply! I finally got that cover off😊 Now I'm on track to fix the accelerator.
My scooter had this and I took it to get it fix and no one could now I can show them this video ❤
Glad to hear that!
Great vid, same here sent my scooter into get fix. They couldn’t fix so I pick it up tomorrow. I’ll have a go at it myself.
Will that work with T5 Navic scooters? What’s is the best replacement throttle?
great video, same scooter and my screen is completely no power. I took off the battery cover, all seems ok. For a bit it had red on charger cable, now it just stays green - maybe it is fully charged? Any ideas on what to test? thanks again.
I would check all of the cables that run from the battery compartment underneath the scooter all the way up to the screen and controls on the handlebars. You want to make sure that none of those are disconnected and that all of those cables are good all the way through.
Very informative ma,am. thank you :)
I miss you Abbi! But thank you for watching something you probably have little interest in 😂
@@AndiWofford you don't know... I might ride scooters all the time lol
But the question is, do you tear them up ?
@@AndiWofford well it holds up pretty well unless I take it to the skatepark.. doing amazing tricks for onlookers takes is toll it 😂
What I should do if he comes E4?
Anyone know what an E3 problem is with an aovo pro scooter?
Thanks
thanks Andi!
Happy to publish John!
Thanksss !! I thought " shit.. i have to buy a new one".. and im in argentina.. nothing cheap :( you saved my movility inside the city :)
Glad I could help and that you’re still mobile around the city!
Awesome 👏
Thank you Samantha!
I looked at my wires and battery wires, they are all in tact. Break lines fine(lights up) but my accelerator doesn't make it move... any ideas?
Maybe a new accelerator? They aren't all that expensive honestly
Error e20 bluewheel Ix 300 help
Nice video, I still kinda need some help tho 😕
How do I take the grip off of an element pro
I'm not familiar with the element pro - this video is about a different brand of scooter.
what about number 20 appearing and blinking with a single beep on the display as soon trying to run with it and no way to go over?
I do not see that error for a Xiaomi 365 scooter or Hover 1. I see for the Xiaomi Mi an Error code 20 indicates an incorrect external battery voltage
Says to check the battery, motherboard and the electrical contacts between them.
So I have a gotrak ultra Max stopped working I bought a new hub I bought a new controller still doesn't work the only thing left is the console but there's no error code that comes up so I'm just troubleshooting why isn't there an error code
You’ve put in a new hub motor and controller? I would ensure those connections are good.
My hover- 1 alpha turns turn on and works fine when I have the handle bar turn left but when if turn to the right it shuts off and won’t turn on when it turn to the right
Really sounds like a wiring issue where something gets crimped in the handle when you turn
@@AndiWofford I told myself maybe d cables got pulled and cause it to have a shock. thank you will check it out
Best of luck!
Gotrax suxs..I came here after I got hit by a car because my scooter died in the middle of the road
..they say it goes 7 miles to the charge but it dies usually within 1.5miles..lately it doesn't even turn on unless its plugged in
hi mom epic video
Hi kiddo, you're the reason 😜
Hello, please, I need help. I gave my daughter a VOLPAM PS06 for her birthday in July, and E2 is now on the screen... Thank you in advance!!!
That's what this video is for. I took you exactly through how I fixed my E2 error.
Make sure you get a female connecter if you're using a VOLPAM!
I'm confused with the nail polish and the voice 🤪 NO HATE
wow you rock mom
Mine wont even turn on even after a full night of charging
I'm sorry
My scooter says E4 error and I don’t know what the main board is because when you show the picture of all the parts I didn’t see it on there and so I don’t know what to replace
This video wasn't about an e4 error though, but I think the main board is on the bottom of the unit.
Changed my accelerator still have a e2 error
I would try making sure that all the cables back to the main board have continuity. Past that, if it's not that cable, then it could be something on your main board. But you're the first person who's reported having replaced their accelerator and still having the same issue
Ill let u guys know I just got a scooter for 30 bucks from a. Friend just ordered a replacement part via Amazon it’s coming Monday fingers crossed
Dam i wish i could fix it now i have to walk 10 km to get home
I know you read this, I know you probably won’t care but I need help. I have two scooters and they’re in need of repair. I need a ECU or the silver blown. I have two scooters but one battery and two motors and loads of parts. I am trying my best to find ways of fixing but no success need help.
Perhaps someone watching can help you with your fixes? There’s a whole community of folks who night lend a hand
@@AndiWofford I need help with repair on joyer and razor electric scooter
working on my hiboy s2 E2 error code lol
Why don't you put your scooter make and model in the title??
There are many scooter make and models this applies to. This identical scooter is also sold under several different brand names.

PLEASE Help. I follow your videos and was able to order your butt slices via you link. And to my surprise after watching your videos a million times😢in slow mo I was able to fix the issues on my Hover scooter after the handle bars was knocked off track. I then got cocky and tired to fix the E2 error on my sons Hover 1 Alpha. After removing way to many screws I realized it was the accelerator needed to be changed but I moved a little to fast and snatched the cord from ( what I discovered form the comments) the main board. Problem is I can’t find out where to order another l. Or is it even possible to fix. ? Have I ruined the expensive scooter for my son???????? Please help
Hey - here's a throttle replacement for a Hover-1 amzn.to/3JVxFak and if that's not what you're asking, you might have to repair that cord.
@@AndiWofford yes I was able to order the actual accelerator replacement off Amazon. But I looks like the cord was snatched from the other e d when I tried to disconnect. Actually snatched out of the main board. Is there a link to replace the main board when the accelerator wire had become disconnected completely
My only suggestion would be to look for a used one off eBay that you can scrap for parts. I don't believe you can get replacement main boards
who about to be doing all that.
Me
this video is a fake. Scooter throttle error is indicated by E4 code.
While that may be correct for you and your brand of scooter in your region, it is not for me.. For my model it's an E2.
Quit talking soo fast.....
