Great video, guys! The city and lake looks nice
Just moved to Geneva. Lived here about 15 years ago. I'm back. Subbed.
im moving here/around geneva for school next year and clicked on this thinking it was just a tourist vlog, but this was so surprisingly helpful! it's been hard to find information about living in the area.
*subscribed* Thanks for the fantastic new footage of my old hometown of Geneva, NY (including the great drone cam shots). I have so many great memories of growing up in Geneva in the 70's & 80's. In that movie theatre you showed on Exchange St I saw the opening nights of Star Wars in 1977 and Halloween in 1978. I'll be smashing Like on all your videos guys, thanks a lot.

Algonquins had nothing to do with Geneva. All of NY was under the Haudenosaunee Nation. The Geneva, Seneca Falls, and Waterloo area was specifically the Cayuga tribe of the Haudenosaunee.
@@LivinginthefingerlakesNY Algonquin tribes were more southeastern NY, New England and Southeastern Canada.
The Haudenosaunee are commonly known as The Iroquois Confederacy established around 1450 and are comprised of the Seneca, Cayuga, Oneida, Mohawk and Onondaga. Later, the displaced Tuscarora were adopted into the Confederacy.
Waterloo in particular is built on the location of Skoi-Yase, a Cayuga village that stood for a few hundred years.
I definitely encourage anyone to look into and research the rich Native American history of the Fingerlakes region. It is a huge portion of the cultural foundation of New York, let alone the United States.
