- The fattest lens in my camera bag is also one of my favourites - the Tamron 70-300 for sony e-mount is an incredible budget telephoto lens that I took with me for some street photography, some timeslices and portraits in this London POV Photography video

Nice video 👍🏻 but something you forget mention. Like I see, this lens don’t have VC (Vibration Compensation) with other words, don’t have stabilization. Almost all Sony 6xxx don’t have IBIS (In-Body Image Stabilization) and that is the problem, when you don’t have sunny day, specially with so high aperture.
A few months ago, when I was buying telephoto lens, I was making decision between Sony 70-200 f4 and Tamron 70-180 f2.8. In the end, I have buy Sony , because have faster AF and stabilization. I am using on a6100.

I've been wondering when we would see another video from you and had begun to worry that maybe you'd quit the video-making bizz! But glad you returned with quite the attention-catcher of a title and thumbnail 😂 Great video! This is making me excited for the Canon 100-400mm lens I am going to rent this weekend and slap onto my APS-C camera! I'd also never seen time-slicing like that before, that looks so cool. Are you going to try it yourself?

Yea I saw it came out and even considered replacing my existing Tamron combo (17-70 F2.8 + the one from this video).. BUT the aperture was a deal breaker for me
Def would love to try it though if I can get my hands on it
Nice shots, I think they work really well, also for portraits. You can see with the guy at 1.:30 that you just need to get closer to your subject and get the background further away. By the way, this lens isn't really the counterpart to a 70-200, it's the counterpart to a 100-400 (or 105-450 to be exact) which also never has a constant f2.8. Compared to the FF 70-200, you gain 250mm at the long end, which is a lot.

@@JimmyShixin Fuji has a 50-140 2.8. But many people also use a 75mm or 90mm prime (or 105-135mm in FF) as a lighter, even higher aperture tele option.

@@JimmyShixin yeah!! It's for FF sensor, but would give a bigger range in the a6xx series, for me it's an advantage

I've owned the Tamron 70-300mm for almost two years. I got it mainly for shooting the moon and it did amazingly well. On my a6300, the crop is 450mm and with 2x clear zoom I got 900mm and it looked like this! th-cam.com/video/NU9gZcPZLS8/w-d-xo.html
