As with previous T15p generations, the T15p Gen3 shares the same chassis & mostly similar internal components as the P15v Gen 3. The main difference between T15p Gen 3 & P15v Gen 3 is the difference in discrete graphics (Geforce vs Quadro).
Computer specs evolve so quickly, that your machine will already be obsolete before you even open the box. My advise there will just be to buy a machine that will do what you need to do, instead of seeking the best of the best :)
Hehehe, glad you asked this question actually. I found it the hard way, while being almost out of battery and just having a USB-C charger, that this gen 3 T15 still doesn't support charging through the Thunderbolt port. Better don't forgot its power block then !

Every generation of T15 gets this question: can you charge it through the Thunderbolt port?
