How about using bluetooth?

Question. I got the almost identical mount on Amazon but I was having problems with my mirror pinching the mount and making it hard to adjust the mirror to where I needed it. How did you handle that?

The fan is a complete gimmick!

Great video - and helped showed me a few ways I needed to change my adjustments. In the newer versions they have added a velcro strap for the cable on the side so it doesn't just float around.

UPDATE: If you're in the same situation like me, don't return your drone just yet ! I found a way to unlock the drone with the tablet now, bypassing that ridiculous mandatory data plan they want us to have in order to do it. I am away from home for a vacation (with the drone actually !), but I will do a video about it as soon as I come back, so you guys can see how I managed to activate that drone 😅

Very well-done and useful, thank you. I also have an activation issue I've been going back-and-forth with DJI Support for about two weeks. May be completely unrelated...I bought Mini 3 Pro (with RC) and soon lost the aircraft. (I opened a flyaway case and sent all flight data to DJI Support per request). Meanwhile I purchased new Mini 3 Aircraft Only (I had extra batteries). It will not activate; in fact I have never even seen a screen that contains the word 'activate. Tried all the usual solutions, per Support by phone and/or by email. They can't solve it and now they want me to basically make the same video as you in order for them to recreate/trace the problem. The Mini 3 Pro that was lost was my first drone, so I may be doing something wrong in the setup. Any way, sorry to hijack your post with my lengthy comment. Cheers.

My dji doesn’t want to activate either 😢

My exact problem too....Andriod phone won't allow the app to run ..my Samsung tablet won't allow the app to run...I grabbed the wife's iPad. But without cell service on the iPad I cannot activate it....great hardware. Giant turd of software big brother .

Even with a phone and strong Mobile as well as WiFi data the activation does not work (Huwei P20 Pro) - it seems to very much depend on the phone you have. On my wife's Samsung S21 it is not possible to install DJI Fly - even when switching off all security measures on the phone and play store app for checking 3rd party apps. This is my 4th drone from DJI and my last one, as Software gets worse ad worse

How do u turn the light on on the front

I ride in a bumpy area and the clip for the folding mechanism comes undone at times when I ride, is there a clamp or something I can use to hold it in place?

never had a problem doing it on my mobile phone...just had data switched on worked straight away...my tablet is 14 inch, so hardly going to be carrying that about...lol...love the follow me function, worked great with me on my bike

Great video! Does the cable running from front camera to rear just supply power or is needed to communicate with the front as well? Or is it wifi? I ask because I have a lighter outlet near the back window I can use if it's only for power. Also I think this comes with the tool for hiding the cable now, is that correct? Thanks!

Thumbs down for disabling comments. Many other viewers and I give a thumbs down to ANY video that disables comments. I would give a triple thumbs down for enabling comments but pending approval. IMO thats even worse than outright banning comments because now you get to pick and choose what comments you like. It's dishonest. but if you like dislikes then go for gold my friend!

In English, the word "Impossible" means that is can not be done, no matter what. Your own video shows us that activation can be done, but its somewhat difficult. NOT IMPOSSIBLE!!!

I bought a similar one for my escort detector, the mounting hardware is exactly the same, after mounting it I wasn't able to adjust my mirror the way I wanted just wondering how exactly did you get yours to work??
