I too think the F-91 is overrated: the W-59 has more water resistance, is a bit beefier, and just better (bout don't tell anyone, because people seem to love the F-91 so much!). Thanks for watching! I do own the W-59 the F91W and the W800 H ..I have to say I like all three watches... I have my Casio W59 on my wrist now. I do hope Casio makes a 50th-anniversary model in 2024 as it will be 50 Years since their first digital watch went on sale in 1974 the Casiotron.. Thank you for this video

Long Time Casio W-800H was my almost favorite. But couple week ago I purchased Casio W96H-3AV. Extremely Advised - this some like re-think W-800H idea.
When you started talking about digit proportions, I never noticed that the bottom segments of the W800 are larger (more stretched) than the top of the same number. The F-91W numerals are symmetrical top and bottom... Maybe that's why you (and me too) like the look of the F-91 numbers. Nice reviews.
Also the thickness of left vs right segments are also non-symmetrical. So comparing the lower right to the upper left of an "8" is a huge size difference in the W800, whereas they are the same on the F-91W.
Yes! That’s right.There really is something aesthetically “magic” with the f-91 and w-59. For example the armitron Rubik, which is another digital “vintage flavored “ watch has still different numbers that, to my eyes, look a bit … “not exactly right”. Thanks for this comment !
My money is on the Greyman! I am biased though because I really lik that one. Then its the W59. Its a great little watch and 50m of water resistance is plenty enough for most people. Seems the W59 and F91w are very similar. I have not modded my Greyman either. I am keeping it standard. I would not wash a Giraffe either. They are massive and temperamental. I know of a guy who's wife died from a Giraffe bite. Completely random but totally true.😐 I should put my Greyman on another strap too. I like the metal buckle on yours! I did not know you get a F91 on a nato strap from the factory. Interesting. Regarding backlight they cant hold a candle against the Greyman. Nice collection you got there! Have a great day man!
Oh boy, I’m sorry about the giraffe bitten friend! They look like such “cute“ animals, but their size… frightening! You know what, although aesthetically I prefer the W 59, after wearing the grayman and/or g shocks all the time, the w-59 and f-91 feel so small on my wrist. That W 59 with the NATO strap was like a unicorn to find. I had it in my Amazon cart with the indication “not available at the moment“ for years. Then once it became available, but it was €150 for months. Finally , on a fine morning, I checked my Amazon cart, and the price had dropped to 35-ish euros. I bought it immediately! Interesting take on the digital proportions. I prefer the W800 Greyman over the 56 and the much overrated 91.
