I played OoT when I was 15 years old. I'm 40 now and I lost my wife this year. I wish I was 15 again when life was just enjoying a game without any worries. Can't stop crying when listening to this beautiful song.
My favourite part about Zelda symphonies is seeing the beaming grins on the orchestra member's faces when they hear the audience cheering and getting excited
@@Pretzelcoatlus Jesus christ chill my guy. You clearly have a chip on your shoulder, don't take it out on me just because I enjoyed the atmosphere and getting to enjoy something together with likeminded people.
I know my comment is 4 years too late, but this particular concert if you watched the entire thing. Audience were encouraged to cheer and make noises during their performances.
How has it been 20 years? I recall every moment playing OoT. It was an exciting time in the world before the year 2000, I had so much to look forward to and these songs always take me back to that little 10 year old me, innocent and naive, but happy and with so much to learn and do. I think only very special music can literally take you back to a time decades-past so that you can remember how things looked and felt and smelled from that version of yourself.
For the record, During the start of both the LoZ and Final fantasy shows, they say to make noise when ever you want. Both orchestras i saw said which ever we made the most noise for they would play again at the end. My winners were Gerudo valley and one winged angel. While any other classical orchestra I agree its rude, These are pretty hard core gamers going to these events. I got excited as fuck when certain songs came on.
You know, I equate this to a performance piece, not cheering at certain parts might be considered rude. This isn't classical music y'know, there aren't strict guidelines in how to enjoy this. At the end of the day, the musician/conductor just wants to know that their performance evoked an emotion in you. Cheer, but in a way that doesn't disturb those around you. I didn't see anything impolite here.
You let them know it's good by cheering at the end! When they are finished! Such a hard concept to understand. Why would you want to pay money, to LISTEN to a symphony, but then just be content with hearing cheers and random blips of nonsense instead. Makes entirely no sense to me.. same with people who sing with a band. They are making MUSIC.. These people have been playing since they were children.. and you're wanting to hear baboon screeches over it?
Justin Hardt Most concerts I've been to encourage singing along. It helps get the crowd pumped up and feel like they are part of an experience you couldn't get without being there. Some bands like early Black Sabbath thrived off the singer being able to get the crowd going. That and you really expect a bunch of nerds to not cheer as arguably the greatest piece of music to come out of a video game is played so beautifully? We aren't exactly a quiet bunch lol
I saw this live, and my gawd… the goosebumps and chills you get when the music literally resonates throughout your entire body from that life performance…
This song might be one of the greatest track of gaming music history. It creates in me such an overwhelming feeling of grandeur. In my opinion, it perfectly incapsulte the return of the fable hero and the hope for a better future. It is optimistic and triumphant. It annonce an unrelinquish desire to rise above darkness and tyranny. It signal the end of despair and summons in all good people the strengh to rally and follow in his footstep if you so dare. It feels the heart of evil creature with dread, as its trumpet herald the dawn of a new day, and judgement is coming and those who are foolish enough to defy it, and all who stand in his way shall be smiten by his righteous might, unwaivering, evil cannot win. This is how would you say the Final Boss music of the Good guys, in gamer terms 🙂
What's great about this is that you get the feeling that the orchestra really enjoyed playing this. Koji Kondo is no joke, he is a legitimately phenomenal composer and this orchestra obviously enjoyed playing his arrangements.
The noises you made at the beginning brought back incredible memories when I saw them for the 25th anniversary in LA. Instantly remembered feeling the exact same way, unable to contain my emotion with my best friend. I was only 15 I think. One of the best experiences of my life
And I thought the guitars version of SB was the Ultimate version of this song, now this is even more amazing, a true masterpiece masterpieced by this orchestra
me, cause as a spanish musician, i can assure, this orchestra is amazing but there's no way , this version can beat the real and pure spanish guitar style played in the original ost
HOLY SHIT I have the CD for Symphony of the Goddess, but I can't even imagine how phenomenal it would sound live ugh I'd probably lose my shit (respectfully of course)
Camera panned to Viola's (not violins) at 1:35 when they should have panned to the violins, they also panned to the timp player when he went into a pause, still an amazing vid.

So sorry for your loss
Sorry for your loss.
I couldn’t imagine. We are same age and were probably doing the same thing. My now wife sitting by me playing.
Sorry for your loss
Cancer?

Making Ocarina of Time's Gerudo Valley sound even more epic.

Hey, we are the same in the profile picture yey

I could listen to Legend of Zelda music covers all frickin' day long.

2:49 bow shots are synced with the music lol
Lol
Because that's how it works.
That's how music works...
@@benjaminlingle3493 they're talking about Link shooting the bow and arrow on the screen.
I cannot imagine seeing this live. This is probably my favorite song from the whole track list, it would have been amazing.

the countless hours i spent just walking around the valley just to listen to this song this was my childhood and i loved every second.
This sounds exactly like the song that's in the 25 anniversary CD that has like 8 tracks on it that you get from pre ordering skyward sword
newawesomefaceman 22 that's because it is.
Skyward sword is an amazing game..... I hope they remaster it into the switch with motion controls
Guy That Games they should re release all the zelda games to the switch. Really most of what you have to do is change button inputa
PerrinPansy ya true
its the same orchestra
them playing the instruments like that without crying i would so cry its so beautiful
I know this advise is 5 years too late... but!
Listen to this video at 1.25 the speed.
Your welcome.
1.75 sounds like the correct tempo of the song though. Much better at this speed but just my personal preference.
Nah 1.5
Oooooooooo thanks.
@Loogi 12 no hes right 1.25x is more like how the game sounds and how The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony plays it
Brought tears to my eyes.
The audible **gasp** at the beginning hahaha I feel you
i get goosebumps listening to orchestra. gosh how i hope there was more and a radio station for it lol
I’m glad I saw this live when symphony came to Chicago. Both Zelda and Pokémon were amazing
I'm so glad I found this 💚
We played this song in Drumline. Needless to say, we got the best ranking
And I thought the guitars version of SB was the Ultimate version of this song, now this is even more amazing, a true masterpiece masterpieced by this orchestra
Who the hell would dislike this?
xinder block
Some dumb who doesn’t appreciate good music
Probably those who are annoyed by the crowd noise. It's one thing to applaud, but damn, shut up during the song at least!
Ganondorf
No more dislikes

the drum syncing with the video at 2:49 was amazing
Goosebumps!
Oh my! The magic she weaves with her wand!
I’ve always thought the conductor of these events should use the Windwaker baton
K this confirms it. Orchestral remakes always make something sound epic xD
HOLY SHIT I have the CD for Symphony of the Goddess, but I can't even imagine how phenomenal it would sound live ugh I'd probably lose my shit (respectfully of course)
This is one of the songs you could push a mountain with your bare hands when you listen to
Wow. That legit sounds incredible! Kudos to the composer.
This hits right in the feels...
The best Zelda Song ever!!!!! I love it! ❤❤❤
HOLY SHIT THE CHILLS
Utterly and truly BEAUTIFUL ❤
You can know that it's a good music if an orchestra played it!!
1:17 epic
0:00-4:08 EPIC
You know it buddy. Full body chills at that moment. Practically paralyzed.
My heart 😍♥️
I saw this in OKC and it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
Dislikes are from the people still stuck in the water temple
It's incredible what a little change in tempo can do for a song. This slower arrangement gave it an entirely new feel!
not many people noticed that it is a quarter beat slower
@@boonshee6458 If u put in 1.25x speed it sounds normal
Oh man those flutes were beautiful
Play at 1.5x speed for a whole different vibe
What a beautiful song! Evergreen music
......
1:16 Esse toque é incrível
one of the songs that were part of my childhood, wonderful
hooooolly shit, my college graduation was here... this woulda made it 1000x more epic
OMG! I'm excited. My heart will explode with emotion. I'm delighted. ♥
Simply amazing...

Gerudo Valley and Guile theme songs are the soundtrack to my childhood.
Great, Now I gotta find my gamecube in the attic somewhere.
DeathByKamui you shouldn't have ever put your GameCube in the attic you heathen
But Ocarina was on the 64 and they remade it on the 3DS
if only the crowd wasnt screaming their fucking lungs out
Brings a tear to my eye
brought a tear to my eye, this is the prime of the human species
We should have sent music from LoZ games to space so Aliens could see what kind of amazing work we can create.
this is ... this song wins the internet ...
Awesome performance and arrangement!
This song OMG This Song is Amazingggg!!!!!!
is it bad that i got goose bumps and a tear in my eye?
I know its so good but really guys STFU and let me hear this fucking Masterpiece
Thanks for sharing, it's beautiful!
I can seriously imagine a massive boss fight right about now
Tant de beauté dans cette reprise. Frissons assurés
God I can't stop the goosebumps!!
Imagine the score if they made a live action Zelda movie.
... And they will
This comment aged well. We'll see how they do
When will people learn that NO video becomes better from using the zoom feature on a handheld camera xD
I cried from the music. So good.
Ya son varias las veces que he visto esto y es inevitable no conmoverme, simplemente maravilloso.
I hope they do another show in Atlanta cause I managed to miss this song
Impossível não se emocionar. Ficou perfeito ❤ ficaria mais perfeito se conseguíssemos ver o telão o tempo todo
Esto es hermoso :'3,
i am not crying i am just sweating through my eyes :')
Nostalgic orchestrated sickness. Fucking awesome. Tears
👏🏼👏🏼😭 beautiful!
Locura, siempre amaré este tema
This is my favorite Zelda theme.
Ok who's done being a total fanboy cause I ain't
I don't even know what that means, but sure, I'm game.
I only wish the camera would have stayed panned out so we could watch the gameplay during the music. Then my nostalgia trip would be complete. 😭
If there will be a Zelda Movie coming to cinemas, please hire this Orchestra to play the music for this awesome movie!!
Aaaa siempre quise ver este concierto
beautiful
Teared up halfway at that flute solo, holy smokes
1:35 wrong violins
Brook Ten Took me a minute. But that was clever. ;)
haha thanks
I don't get it.
Oxi Clean the guy wanted to film the violins that was having the melody... But it wasn't them😂

hermoso
gives me chills every time
I need to play this again.
Al principio pensé a este le puso este título para tener visitas pero no mis felicitaciones a estos músicos
La euforia del respetable al reconocer la épica melodía!
