This tools works really great for bending thick stock. Make sure that you put some scrap pieces of paper between the metal and the part bending the metal so you don't mar the surface of your metal. This tool is a major time saver!

How can you not mar the pattern on the patterned wire?
Hi Vickie, we recommend bending the wire laterally. By bending the sides, the pattern will not mar on the pattern. Hope this helps!

How do you make the ring a certain size? Say I want a size 5.5 US ring. The screw sizing doesn't seem to have any markings. Is it just a guess?

Can this tool bend silver plated flatware handles to make spoon rings?
