Yeah, Heero was being very passive and defensive in the fight against Wu Fei. If we went more on the offensive, Shenlong/Nataku would have taken way more damage.

Then I have theory then, my theory is that zechs is the one who retrieve the twin buster rifle, a preventer agent notified zechs about the twin buster rifle of wing gundam zero and he himself volunteer to deliver it to wing gundam zero via tallgeese 3 and he probably asked where is wing gundam zeros location and head there and give it to heero. If you noticed the battle scene of tallgeese 3 is too short and is not present in the final battle where the wing gundam zero barrages the mariemaia base with twin buster rifle.
@@shadowspidey7327 you gotta read up the early drafts, in early scripts he was supposed to be stated a newtype but this was changed but he still functions like a newtype, some stuff that stayed with him included the ability to discern good or evil intentions from people, the dude was sensing people’s inner will, id consider that to be a newtype, his Gundam even has a custom built upgrade called fighting sense which is basically a diet zero system with focusing on enemy weak points instead of the future, they really were gonna make him a newtype and you can see the writing leftover of that anytime he’s doing stuff
@@shadowspidey7327 true but between the two it seemed more like Wufei was superior in the sense that Heero was tired, in this whole fight Heero doesn’t wanna battle Wufei cuz he’s quite literally TIRED of fighting and war, he’s exhausted and going through the ptsd stuff, but Wufei can still keep going, that prolly makes Heero a better pilot for the zero system maybe but Wufei still had tons energy to fight and was really damaging the hell out of wing zero too

The suit was already broken before firing, the only reason it could still fire was because it was designed in a way that even if the suit was damaged and lost 90% of its armor, it could still perform on par with regular suits
The fact that the twin busters rifle has enough energy output to destroy the wing in its weaken state is actually say quite a lot of the destructive output.
How would the wings fit in? Gundam frames from IBO would make a lot more sense since they don't use beam powered weaponry. Even add Barbs Ultra Mace, Kimaris Gungnir lance and fusion halberd Axe

Two warriors who see no other purpose to life than fighting. Heero and Wufei are among the most tragic characters in all of Gundam.
