just a little thing I noticed Corey your test results for the nitrate test I think that it indicated 25, not 2.5 I might be wrong I use the red sea kit and not very familiar with the salifert kit. might be worth double checking.
Yes corals needs some nitrate . The lid is best because a net lid promote evaporation which can raise you salinity daily and will have to top off fresh water .pink alage is awesome it means you tamk is stable and muture .try not to stir up youre sand beed to deep the can cause a unstable environment
Hi, I just got the Fluval Evo tank. What return pump did you have and did it make a lot of noise? Mine seems to making a lot and tried reducing it with rubber and foam but doesn’t seem to work
I have already moved it, I filmed this video a few days ago and i moved it by sliding it onto the stand next to it and put the desk on the other side of the room and lifted it over. Before moving it i took 40 litres out
Probably not best practice to clean your pump in the water column. Also putting the metals from this scissors into the water column can be damaging, especially as they’re rusting.
I’m 13yr old and I have been following u through all of your videos and I also have set my Fluval 13.5 like you, thanks a lot ur a massive inspiration 👍
Hey bro this is by far my fav reef tank! I really want one but want to know how much everything is? Do you have a price on about how much you’ve spent on everything with the fluval 13.5?!?
Can't wait to see the new tank! Thanks for the update!
Great update. Can’t wait to see the new tank!!
Great video. Which additive to you put in the tank? How many water changes a month? thank you

Trust me, its 3
on the salifert test kit you have to hold the vile to the side if reading below 10, then you divide the reading by 10 which is 2.5ppm

I have the same tank and just removed the hood all together. It just wasn’t worth it. But great tips on cleaning the pump!
Hey bin watching your tank for abit good job but one question ?? How much are you dosing and with what??? How did you get so much coraline??
Coraline from stable alkalinity and that's all I dose every other day, no water changes
Are corals safe with that kinda light I wanna get some and what do you feed them?
Don't feed and yes

Loving the content!! Keep it up and i'm curious about the new tank!!
You grew all that coralline algae with the stock light? Tank looked amazing. 🍻

9.30 watch out for the bobbit worm .
Red Sea Nitrate needs to stand for 9 minutes, once completed.
I know, way too long
just casually chopping off entire corals with scissors.
Very nice tank
