What about parents and counseling that support and assist students ? This is not very professional !
Good story, but missing a huge hole in the story.
Liam stands there, arms outstretched, politely stating "scan me, scan the chamber", the proof can easily be seen with a simple scan that would determine innocence quickly. Then the scan results and human physiology details sent to the school leadership.
This is the first time the word palpable wasn't used. What a relief!
Cool concept, but there are some major holes in the plot. First is that the protagonist didn't have representation. At the very least if he were an adult, he's technically on "foreign soil" which means there would be an embassy for humans to contact for assistance. If he were a child, his parents/guardians would've had to have been contacted regarding the incident. Any of them could, and probably would rip the school a new one for negligence at best, and blatant discrimination at worse. To top that off they forced said student to educate them on human physiology, of which they should've did themselves when he was accepted as a student. They didn't apologize to him and reprimand the teacher who first made the accusation without evidence, and then assigned punishment, again without evidence.
Excuse me>? What kind of elite academy has galactic level required attendance? ... that doesn't make sense for both of those things to be true about this place.
Neat concept, but so full of repetitive BS it kills what would otherwise be a good story.
Stories like this never actually call attention to the fact alot of life on earth has evolved a different neural transmitter that actually makes way faster than we would be otherwise. I forgot what it's called but it's a real thing, some deep sea animal life still uses the old transmitter. Complex brains wouldn't be possible without it, as we know it, but it's not impossible to imagine alien life evolving another solution, one that might not be as effective.
What i think is BS, is how is this elite institution, have required attendance?
