I liked the story but the AI pronunciation and the captions need a lot of work yet. Proper names are rendered in the captions several different ways throughout which detracts from the overall story. The crate at the first test was….300 KG?! Remember that a kilogram is approximately 2.2 lbs. You’re talking about a more-or-less average guy lifting 660 lbs to carry over a challenging course? Yeah, I do believe in suspending disbelief for sci-fi stories…but that guy would look like a gorilla.

Your story lacked the final payment for services rendered. Under Earth Maritime law he would be awarded most of the value of the ship by saving it and the crew. Here on earth Maritime laws like this date back thousands of years... to before he Roman Empire. Insurance companies waste no time nor even wait for a court case to pay up. It benefits everyone for every ship in an area to render assistance as rapidly as possible. Help save a ship or a portion of its cargo.. get paid the value of what was saved.

I think the ending could have had way more glowing up of their team feelings and party afterwards, with each of them actually having become friends. The ending is truly weak for how good the story itself is!

I am so thankful to be able to homeschool all my children for over 20+ years. Each child learns differently and should be encouraged and praised for their milestones. ❤

The AI images don’t match the description of the characters in the story. Poor editing and needs to reworked so the audience doesn’t give poor reviews. Also the reader whether AI or human needs more animation. The story line is good. The images of Bill go from a very young boy to teenager and an adult. I doubt a boy would be doing advanced quantum physics.

Whoever produced these videos need to get their pronouns figured out! they/he? I mean come on! even my youngest grand daughter can do better.

Reminds me of my brother, who retired a Lt. Col. In the USAF. After volunteering for the draft and doing 2 years in the USA, he enlisted in the Air Force. He flew F-15s and F-4s. He told me to always watch the (alleged) underdogs, for they had more to prove and would try harder than others. He taught at the AF Academy; evaluated and tested survival equipment for issue to pilots; and retired as an Ast. Squadron Commander. He did his 20 before being medically retired due to injuries received ejecting from his F-4 when it took a SAM in one of his engines. Not bad for a maverick from the USA. LOVED IT! Great story, though it is diminished somewhat by the continued spellings/misspellings of the professor's name and others. That minor bit aside, one of the best original works I've watched in quite a while. Congratulations to the author.

How many different ways is the professor's name to be spelled? This needs to be fixed. AI written captions should be edited before being included in the story's video. Otherwise, this is a nice story.

Professor Zeiler eventually sees the brilliance of Bill's approach. Everything in the last portion of the tale plays out as presented in the Post. The reclusive Professor moving at break-neck speed reaches Bill's quarters to find them cold, dark and empty. Nothing. As he turns to leave his tendrils brush against a crumpled piece of paper that had fallen to the floor. Examining the scrap, he reads, "sorry for being a bother and wasting the Academy's resources. Since I need to eat, find shelter and pay my debts, I've accepted a job in Waverly, Iowa as a dishwasher and janitor at the local McRobert's fast food resteraunt. Not much, I sleep in a converted store room, get my meals free and have enough money to get the pencils and paper I need to continue my scribblings. Again, Sorry :-( " In a panic the Professor persuades the Ruling Council to send its' fastest ship to find Bill. The Terran Space Defence Force alert scanners blare at the approach of the massive Galactic Council Dreadnaught QUANTUM PIERCING. As the Human defence forces prepare to meet what it sees as a threat, their view screens flicker to life with Professor Zeiler's worried face. Crackling through the Earth Command's audio channel, the Command Center receives the message, " PLEASE, POWER DOWN YOUR DEFENSES; AS YOU SEE OURS ARE NOT POWERED UP. WE COME IN PEACE SEEKING A HUMAN FIRST YEAR STUDENT ENROLLED IN THE GALACTIC ACADEMY ! WE DESPERATELY NEED TO TALK TO HIM. YOUR ASSISTANCE WOULD GREATLY BE APPRECIATED; JUST WHERE IS WAVERLY, IOWA ANYWAY !!! " .

A decent story

I've a few questions. Why would they let anyone near the core if they knew what it could do? If they found out after the fact, the why not send it somewhere secure? Why not take the pieces of the core after it was turned off, since it might be able to be fixed again? This may be a part of a larger story and if so please tell where the rest can be found. Thank you for an interesting read.

As this story develops, this story tells of a teacher prejudiced against a new student that actually checked the work. We all have had a teacher like this. Good story.
