In the nicest way possible, watching your channel strongly discourages me from starting my own. Your content is so freaking good yet you are not given any attention. I really hope the crowd eventually picks up
Hahaha much love my dude! and I hear you on that.. I was the same way and honestly still do get a little discouraged but it's comments like this that make it all worth it. My mindset is if just 1 person finds value in my content then I've done something right lol. Hit me up on my question platform if there's anything I can help assist you with in your content journey! therobbyrowshow.com/ask
Great explanation man. One thing worth mentioning is that the orientation of the drive leg during the drive phase is going to be different depending on your hip structure. If you look at Justin Verlander for example, he maintains more of a vertical shin with a neutral pelvis (not coiled around his back leg). Someone like Fernando Rodney on the other hand has his back knee pointed toward the target during the drive phase and isn't going to have the vertical shin. Ultimately, it's all about maintaining a load in your hips for as long as possible until they pop open at the last second. Both of them do it, but because their hips have different movement capacities, they do it differently.
Yeah man I look at it more as the anatomical structure of one's pelvis which allows for different styles of loading.. kind of tough to go into detail within that tho because I don't want the younger kids watching this get too caught up in that at an early age. But heck yeah man you're spot on.
This is the best video Ive seen on the back leg. Do you have a link to the video you mentioned that compares your 88-90 mechanics to your 95-97 mechanics? Thanks
Hey, Robby. I'm 37 yo, getting back into throwing after almost 20+ years. I'm doing this for exercise and a hobby, but I take it seriously. I'm finding two common pains/strains that I have every single time after I throw. And I'm not banging them either. Just trying to hit mechanics. I could use some advice if you ever have time to respond. Thanks! Love the content so far.
@@robbyrow Thanks so much for the offer. I love the deal. Money is tight right now, but I'm thinking of this in the future. Or maybe a birthday gift request. In the meantime, I'll keep watching and plugging. Thank you!
