This one took them a long time to do. The costume changes, and the choreo. LOL the funniest bit to me was doing Walk Like a Man to the dance clip from Single Girls. Genius. It's even more fun when you know all the songs. Although BTS not so much. :) (I'm old)
Even if I didn’t know enough of the songs I had a great time with this medley. And totally understandable that it took long to do 😅😅
This one is so fun and for some reason Geoff dancing was really funny to me the first time I saw it. And he’s actually really good 😅

I don't know if I knew or had heard you say before you play in an orchestra. What do you play? I play the flute, not in an orchestra but in a community band. 😁

I play the saxophone 🎷, have done since I was eight so it’s been a while now 🙈😅
I call it an orchestra since I have no other good description of it. Being in Norway, it’s kind of a mix between a marching band and an orchestra. So we have a marching band lineup (no strings), but marching season is only during the short summer. The rest of the year it’s concerts and such with orchestral pieces.

This is one of my all-time favorites. I’m old enough that I remember singing to the Beatles and Frankie Valli, and my son sang along with Boyz II Men and the Backstreet Boys so almost everything here was familiar. The whole thing just cheers me up. When I am feeling a little down in the dumps I hit a playlistand I created for those times and this is number one on that playlist.

This was so much fun! I believe this came from a poll when they hit a certain subscriber milestone, and may have been the most expensive they had done up to this point (copyright on 14 different songs, for a start!). They did have a choreographer working with them on this, most of the 'newer' tracks they did the actual groups' choreo from their videos - but did you catch them on 'Walk Like A Man' doing the dance from Beyonce's 'Single Ladies'..? 😂
It really was a lot of fun.

@@ThalesMusicCorner Yup. They do. Royalties to whomever owns the song.
They don’t actually pay the royalties, but it comes out of anything they might get from plays on TH-cam. So that, combined with all the costume changes means they will probably break even on this video. That’s one reason you don’t see them doing many medleys these days. (But Layne was VERY good at arranging medleys. Sometime try their Greatest Showman Medley)

What we *need* is for VP to get J-None and Earl back, and keep Cesar, and be a six-member group. I see no downsides to this plan.

J is a career Navy man now. They aren’t even in touch with Earl anymore; he flat out quit music. And going to six parts would require them to rewrite *all* the arrangements.

Yea, you pronounced my name correctly! That doesn't happen very often. The "You should see the size of his wallet" group were Geoff, Layne, and Eli's wives and Earl's husband. The walkon with the sandwich was a dear friend of theirs, Rek Dunn.
If you react to their cover of the Halo theme you will find out a little more about him. That's true if you watch the entire outro. You don't have to be a gamer to appreciate the talent and artistry. The outro will tell them why the game is important to them and more about what they are like as great men.

The _term_ "boy band" hadn't been introduced yet at the time, but if you apply the definition retroactively, then yes, the Beatles were absolutely a boy band.
And yes, VP was already good by the time J-None joined. Their first really high-quality video, IMO, is Phantom of the Opera, which they did while Tony was still with them. (Not to say that they haven't continued to improve since...)
