  • EJF has uncovered a shocking prevalence of human rights abuse within South Korea’s distant water fishing fleet. ‘Dangerous waters’ hears from the migrant fishers suffering maltreatment and abuse aboard these vessels.
    To stamp out illegal fishing and human rights abuses, it is critical that the Korean seafood industry and the international companies that buy from it play a role in bringing these vessels out of the shadows.

    They should arrest all those captains and sentence them to life imprisonment..in the nation of those workers and not in South Korea. Absolutely disgusting.

    i watched on japan nhk tv that ejf reported a thailand woorker was forced to drop off at an indonessia port from a chinese vessel intentinally and his passport was still on the vessel. slave working. sad
