Glad to hear from ya. This year New Zealand was on my bucket list and I spent two weeks there. LOVED your country! I'm from the US, and my Bambu X1 arrives today, so that's why I watched your review. Thanks, and happy printing.
Great to see Bambu supporting a channel that doesn't necessarily reach millions of potentional customers. The company itself is as great as its products.
Great honest video. So many reviewers say I haven’t been paid but I get to keep this £3000 printer, that’s payment. Glad you got a printer for nothing as your a small channel and everything helps.
I don’t know why this video showed up in my feed but I have been considering getting into 3d printing. I know nothing about them but I now know Bambu (something I never heard of before) is a good option. Sponsorship works.
Bro, A1 or P1S, it doesn't matter, it's a Bambu! You're now in the world of plug and play printing practically. Ever since upgrading from my modded Ender to the A1 it's been so much fun printing again. Less faffing around tuning the machine after failed prints, just print, print, print. Honestly, Bambu has been such a breath of fresh air to the industry
Knew absolutely nothing about 3d-printing two years ago. Bambu's P1P was magical as dying of malaria for the first time, playing The Oregon Trail. Seriously the most gratifying purchase ever made. Can't wait to see what new ingenuity they will spring on us next. Luv this video.
I just want to let you know that I appreciate the box while moving image sequence. Moving is already overwhelming, so that definitely took some effort and planning.
Yeah, I just gave away my Anycubic Mega. I bought my X1C quite some time ago. Bottom line: "I Love It." IT JUST WORKS. As you have found out, it is just so easy to print so many things. No problems for me. I used to buy one or two rolls of filament at a time. Now, I buy 10-20 and all types. By buying more rolls at a time, I get up to 50% off on sales. I average about $17 per roll. It just made printing fun again. Enjoy
Dude, you don't have one already? Oh wait that's right, you're actually super talented and can make stuff with your hands 😅. Love your projects dude, they always blow me away.
Man you convinced me to buy the Bambulab X1 Carbon Combo, locally in my country it's sold for 2000USD$....I can afford it fortunately 😅 as an upgrade from my Anycubic i3 Mega S old fdm printer.
My Hotend assembly of my 3D Printer recently broke because it got filament that kinda squashed itself back into the nozzle. I now have to order a new one for 30$, wait like a week and replace it by undoing 4 screws and unplugging 2-3 wires. While this sounds like a sane default, and for 3D printing it kinda is, have a look at Computers, Printers and Cars.
Yep being in NZ kind of sucks as these are priced really high, even on sale. In Australia they are currently $1199 AUD where in New Zealand they are $2060.80 NZD. Not sure why we have to pay so much more.
I found your videos this morning in the uk at 7:20am, and now at 13:55pm i'm shopping for a 3d printer having never used one. i guess bambu labs it is?
That's Awesome man! Thanks for the support. Definitely don't take my advice for what to buy, do a bit of research. But I'm with kristian, if you just want to design and print stuff, I think Bambu machines are a good choice.
Bought a1 and a1 mini and ended up getting a x1 carbon combo for free because my involvement of larger board game groups on facebook because we put on a design contest to give away printers. I used to have a prusa clone back in the day interesting had to build it etc and it was more trouble than it was worth so I sold it. bambu is exactly for someone who has other hobbies and doesn't want to spend majority of the time troubleshooting and just printing with minimal set up. I recommend them to people who show an interest in the hobby but have limited time.
I don't want people to go in the comments hating on Enders though. They are absolute beasts for around 350 USD if you do it right. Sub 3 minute benchy level good.
I agree but with a caveat, any printer works at least decently well if you oknow what you're doing. That 3 minute benchy is super hard to do. I started with an ender 3 and it's the only reason im now into 3d printer design lol.
is there anything worse than getting a big purchase right before you’ve got a move and it arrives like mid move? Same thing happened with my ultrawide monitor? All I want to do is set the fucking thing up but now I had to wait two weeks. 😂
Wait … he's supposed to be kind of a noob ? How on the hell an incompetent newbie is supposed to know he needs the adapters for the cardboard spools, the riser for the AMS, the silica gel box drier thingy ?? I'm a certified noob and I feel like he’s NOT one of us! (only way to know now is to subscribe!)
Sellout...jk man, i love my p1s, i bought it after seeing some good reviews, then shortly after they dropped the a1 then the a1 mini and they exploded in popularity. Kinda glad i bought before the a1 series because i think im happier with the enclosed printer than i would have been with the a1 series. I have made a few of what i would consider upgrades to mine, namely hardened extruder gears, a diamondback hotend, and i just started using a darkmoon g10 buildplate. Just your videos, this is the first one ive watched and i wanted to welcome you to the bambu comunity. Gonna subscribe to see that you cook up with it.
Where did you reach out to Bambu lab because I emailed them about a week ago asking for an A1 for my channel with 7k subs and they haven't responded, also great video!
@@AttemptedMaker LOL Yeah, I currently run an X1C Combo, and a P1S Combo I just added from the Black Friday sale. Love my Bambu Lab printers, after years of constantly tweaking / maintaining my previous printers. Q. Did you get hit with NZ customs fees on the P1S import, or was it shipped as no commercial value (being free?). I was hit with customs fees and GST, plus GST on the GST! Not to mention the US$300 shipping cost to NZ. 🙄
Sellout!!!! LOL, just kidding! Actually, I got an A1 Mini back in February, and an A1 when they fixed the cable issue. I've been printing rewards for the kids at my wife's work, as well as doing what I told her I just didn't have time for, which is design some of my own... still don't have time for it, but totally fun! It's wonderful to spend my time printing rather than building and troubleshooting my printer. I have friends that love the engineering side... but I'd rather futz with models rather than the printer. Hope you have LOTS of fun with it, and take a look at what Tomb of 3D Printed Horrors (Fat Dragon Games) has done with tweaking his A1 mini printing profiles for 3D printed mini figures. Not saying they're better than resin, but pretty great!
That's awesome man you'll love it. I wanted to get the video out on the weekend but didn't make it. I think you made a good call tho. Not sure how my video would have helped
The handy app is one of the top reasons I got my A1 combo. Wish I wouldn't have. Frikkin thing is a POS!!! 4 prints. Now it won't print. 300-8009 heatbed malfunctions as well as x axis vibration errors. Have had this thing for 4 days now. Its getting packed up and shipped back for a refund!!
Im about to send my PS1 back. After 9 months of butting heads with this machine i have given up. I think i will stick with the bed slingers for now. These paid for reviews are driving me potty. None of them will discuss the problems associated with the machines they are reviewing.
Hey that's me! Bambulab could u send me one too hehe. This guy's a LEGEND!
Subscribed, simply due to your brutal honesty. It's quite refreshing
Video popped up on my feed today. So I watched it. And I completely agree and will follow suit. Subscribing because of that exact brutal honesty.

Right? Bambu Lab proves you can make (really) good products, have great reputation AND be profitable. Please don't ever change.
Ha ! Really enjoyed your video some upfront honesty is refreshing !
Woooo, love it when people I like watching start getting free stuff! Congrats, not a sell out at all and look forward to seeing more
Thanks Scott! Solid name by the way.

Thanks man! Yeah it's been like discovering the magic feeling of 3D printing for a second time.

Man, your videos are FIRE! humor on spot 👌
Thanks Dude, I'm glad people are enjoying my style, even if the videos themselves are a bit rough. Appreciate the support.
Got so excited he mentioned he tried reprinting things he previously struggled with but forgot to show us them or talk about it haha
Congrats dude
I also own the P1S for almost 1 year now, designed some cool upgrades and it's just the best printer I've ever owned :)
Very nice video as always!!
Perfect timing, I was just looking through their printers this weekend. Excited to see what you cook up on it!
Dude, you don't have one already? Oh wait that's right, you're actually super talented and can make stuff with your hands 😅. Love your projects dude, they always blow me away.
I think the Bambu printers are the only ones you can completely use by just using a mobile app. It's kind of crazy.
Congrats on joining the bambu club and getting a bigger makerspace!
Subscribed and looking forward to more content. 🍻

You have an entertaining way of presenting so keep up the good work!
I have the same printer. It would be a fun watch to see a video of things you make that you enjoy/find useful.

Yep, that's how it is with pretty much everythin here eh 😕
I picked up the P1P, love it! Would love another one!
Welcome to Bambu, had the x1c since a few months after launch and it has me spoiled for even the auto tramming etc. love love love it.
A real OG - Thanks!

Definitely the best for newbies and people who want to print without tinkering.

Welcome to the Bambu family! My Bambu has made 3D printing a breeze, letting me focus on creative designs instead of endless tinkering on an old one.
Thanks Mate, I'm hoping it does the same for me!
Just bought my THIRD P1S... No food, but I have printers!! PLA is plant based. Guess I'll eat that...

Congratulations on getting free stuff and a new place! Enjoy both as much as you can!
I am! My amazing partner is making the new place look amazing. Thanks :)
I am moving next month and hoping to snag a last minute Bambu A1 before their sale ends.
Yeah, black Friday sale is all good. Good luck with your move!
nice, i've gotten some free stuff but no 3d printers yet 😅
Should have got a sovol, bet theyd send an ace out right now.
Dude!!! I just got one of these!!! Like, today!! ALSO!!! I'm the guy with your old Niu haha. Awesome vid!!
Hey Dude! I hope it's doing well, I miss it everyday on my long bus ride :/ Sick that you got a new printer too

I just used their contact info on their website. Who knows why they agreed, I'm as surprised as anyone!
@@AttemptedMaker thanks for the info, how long did they take to respond to you, also how do you only have 3k, I love your videos!
That is wild! I should contact Bambu Lab as well haha! Congratulations!
hello 👋
This is gonna sound like a weird question but what time of the day did they respond?
Very nice video, I've been putting off making a similar move (Ender 3 v2 to A1/AMS Lite) so I'm curious how you're going to like it. subscribed.
no way they send free printer to a 3k subs youtube channel thats nice
No one is more surprised than me!
Great, you had to mention New Zealand in your video, so now I am obligated to go watch some Viva La Dirt League videos.
Don't forget to watch the full Lord of the Rings extended version after that.
Love it! I did not know it was possible! Can i dm you i have some questions (on printables)
Thanks man. I replied :)
How long did it take them to respond to your email, it’s been two weeks so far and no response, also great video!
Just a couple of days
Wow ok, I guess it could take a while but thank you
We’re in New Zealand do you live? I live in Auckland.
I came to find out what a "Bambu Lab 3 printer" was?
Haha dude, no idea how long the title was like that for. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to let you know as soon as Bambu announce the "3"
