i know some of my opinions directly go against this video but oh well 😭 why i like erad mk1c: -i absolutely LOVELOVELOVE the look of black and orange on mk1c. why i love color scheme: His color scheme is sleek and sharp. Adding these two give the impression (to me) that EradMK1C is a ‘refined’ war machine that does NOT hide like a sniper troop in a war. It does NOT try to be sneaky. (black meaning death and orange being the playful) -Plus i think the traffic cone look adds to the look! A traffic cone is meant to signify danger or ‘don’t come here’. EradMK1C is a traffic cone charging towards you. Danger itself! *[DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU WATCHED THE FULL VIDEO]* -The audio design is super cool. EradMK1C’s screams remind me of Godzilla or Ghidorah’s roars. They’re portrayed as monsters of the apocalypse in their respective movies. [Godzilla Minus One and King of the Monsters] His screams are quite recognixable! -His second phase reveals some lore!(we love lore) like his face mask legit just breaks and reveals that “woops thats not metal thats m e a t” -His attacks being super sudden and ‘sneaky’ compliment the representation of the orange. Same. People keep saying things like “Oh, he’s too chaotic!” meanwhile the C in his name means Combat, and Combat is hardly ever predictable. The color meanings you gave actually fit pretty well, black being death, while orange means active and spontaneous. It fits really well that he charges in there like Big John just like “C’mon, kill me! I’m here, kill me, you ugly sonuvab*tch!” while absolutely bombarding your towers, leaving none standing (unless you use XWM like me #XWMgang). Very nice design, very nice attack, fitting for a boss that’s an old foe brought back, one that wants to kill us all. Even his theme has the chant “Sink your teeth in”, meaning that if you wanna beat MKIC, you gotta really TRY to beat him,because if he’s gonna sink his teeth in, you’ve gotta sink *your* teeth in. Lovely.
"He is too chaotic!" "All is fair on the battlefield! Right, Jack?" -the "effing" invincible man, in lore was too dangerous for usual military guys PURELY because he didnt fight like a standard basic soldier
My ideas to “fix” MKIC Honestly they should have made the MKIC deploy like an avatar, but basically next to the path. Basically no gameplay impact but extremely visually appealing and intimidating All attacks have a visual charge up and cooldown. Before lasers are fired, he charges up like a slower apex predator and after he fires, he can’t use lasers for one ability turn, and the laser module is visually smoking until then. Chainsaws should be animated or just be two of the original eradicator swords. The missle attacks should have a little charge up, and also have a distinct tracer effect that fits the boss’s color scheme. kinda like how apex aims his quad launcher. For warship takedowns, he launches up, faces wareship, uses laser to aim and sorta lock on before obliterating the warship with 10 gazillion missles. For aoe, he simply stances up and then fires his missles into the air, to rain onto the targets, kind of like a raptor storm but more pathetic.
animator here, it would take an OBSCENE amount of model changes and rigging to make the chainsaws spin and the amount of time it would take for that is NOT worth it

While it would be obscenely hard to do, I would love if the chains spun while erad mk1c tries to cut through the multiple towers near him and it’d slowly rip through like how the chainsaws work in doom games y’know? It’d be like a better version of that instant unreactable laser attack that just insta deletes your ground towers.
As someone who really likes Mk1C, I'd say that this video is pretty fair, and even reminded me of some things I did not notice while banging my head to his theme, but I gotta mention that at first, this thing's "C" in the name used to stand for "Custom" instead of "Combat", so we can assume that Xenon decided to make a personal Eradicator model with maxed out features of the original to bring on missions (hence the wiping of Europe's division), which explains the "Enraged Carrot" paintjob, maybe Xenon really, really likes carrots... *Cough,* numerous people have said this, but the swords both for the original and the C-version need to be updated and animated, so they become actual chainsaws, and lastly, I agree wholeheartedly on the redesign of Mk1C's attacks, he needs to be more fair but ferocious, as he always gave off the impression of the most violent/crazy model, above MkII in terms of unhinged.
I think the color orange is the best color for eradicator mk ic. Any other color would look wonky on him as you can see from golden erad mkic. Plus it fits his theme because its been theorized that he is the upgraded version of eradicator, and eradicator's whole theme is black and orange even the enemies are black and orange. And for the rocket attack, the only thing that should be changed is he faces the warship he wanna kills because what would be the point of his rocket pods if he's just gonna use the Lazer on his head
I think design wise MK1C could TOTALLY sell his design better with a newer model. His chainsaw blades need to actually MOVE and the blades need to smaller and higher in frequency, even if it could cause minor lag. Also, his orange-traffic cone like color scheme can and has been sold by other mecha designs. Bright designs like that in a military setting screams a sort of bravado-esque emotion, bc the target has no care for 'hiding' and simply wishes to communicate to its foes a message of pure danger/power. If MK1C had more flashy attacks and maybe a blood/skull decal on his body or two, he could look pretty cool. I hate his rockets
I like the way you think about MK1-C's appearance and matching his personality into him. Even if the colour changes like black and grey is applied, the swords will be the only ones standing out. If the devs choose to recolour and redesign the swords, sacrificing the hot orange colour may effect it's matching personality. This is just my opinion.
@pokade3659 I am already aware of that, but even if they choose to change colors, they may leave details of where the orange colors are. E.g. orange stripes, etc.
Something cool about the 3 main bosses of endless (excluding calamity) is that they seem to focus on having different styles of attacking, mk4 focuses on long range with the primary attack being his artillery. Mk1 combat mainly is close range but I like to think of it like this, he does mostly medium range attacks like the laser and rocket attacks for the first phase, then goes berserk in the 2nd phase and goes all out on close range attacks. Apex predator does the perfect mix of both mk4 and mk1 combat, having decently strong close range attacks like the flamethrower, but still good long range attacks like the quadruple rocket burst and the laser eye thingy. Calamity is just kinda a tank for other bosses to hide behind (like void on wave 180) And technically the best and worst at killing towers.
0:54 The chainsaws themselves aren't bad, but the fact that they did absolutely nothing with them. All he does is a sword spin and ground slam, which could have been achieved with literally any other weapon. That was the real problem with the chainsaws.
This video actually has a small flaw: You forgot to talk about the laser sweep attack ;-; That attack is definitely his most memorable attack and almost every player(who knows about it) fears it, its an area attack that one-shots with almost no foreswing to telegraph it, it is definitely worse than the missile attack unless you have warships, it also prioritises higher value towers first so placing baits is not a counter. Mk1C is one of my favourite bosses in the game and his design is definitely inspired by chainsaw man with the black stripes on his head, the chainsaws he holds, and the black orange colour scheme. Also I think he looks cute with those big "eyes", but thats probably just me.
He dose it a little after starting phase 2, so wait 2 or so seconds then Uber (or get whoever have medics) to Uber the towers the attack will hit to minigate the loss then it's a while before it dose it again, but you should have killed it by then I've done this a few times and it's worked every time, hope that helps And if you already knew this and I'm mansplaining I'm sorry :(
2:59 the first missile that hits doesn’t kill the warship, all of them have to hit for it to be killed, meaning you can quickly search around to see which one is taking damage
I think how MK1C should work is since it usually dies crazy fast, it should work more like an assault boss. The boss's theme song is super fast and intense but Mk1C himself doesn't really move to quick. I think his walking animation should be changed to him having both swords out like in the render for the song. He should have an attack where he runs forward crazy fast and swings his swords allover the place to eradicate (see what I did there?) towers that stand in his path. and once he hits his 2nd phase he loses this attack but his main attacks start coming out WAY faster to seem more desperate. and the lower health he gets, he should start smoking or something so it seems like he's actually overheating. His hissy fit attack where he slams his swords into the ground should deal more damage, laser sweep should have a longer cooldown, and I think your ideas for the missile replacement is neat.
EPIK VIDEO!!!1!1!1!1! one thing to address tho is that in my experience I’ve always been able to predict where mk ic would attack with the rocket attack (Unless if there’s like 20+ warships around the map), so you might have A LIIIIIIIIIITTTTLLEEE bit overdid how unpredictable the attack is. But ur idea for the new attack is better. Ain’t no way 30 rockets is supposed to kill a warship💀💀💀

I agree with most of the points you made although I semi disagree with the changes to mk1c’s attacks, I liked them being unpredictable because the boss seems much more erratic and wild than the other erad, although I would make the missile attack attack every warship with the missile spread evenly among the warships. It’ll put all your warships in danger of dying since damage it being dealt to every warship, but not one tapping them means you can predict how much longer it can survive so when it does the attack again you can sell it
Yeah i would agree, he seems much like a more hatred filled boss. He was specificly designed in mind for his role. What furthers this idea of crazed, boss would be when half of his face platings are torn off. The skinless head seems like its in pure agony so it mercilessly kills without second thought. Unless you have high dps and use the pubk buster on my boy then there aint no 2nd Phase

There are quite a few things I don't exactly agree with, but the rocket barrage against the Warships do not 1 shot unless they are not upgraded. Yes any warship will die in one full attack from the barrage, but they will not be one shot. The damage of the rockets give you about 1 second if not a little bit more time to sell once it has been hot with the first rocket. However, do not sell your warship until after you see that he has finished firing the rockets. If you do sell while he is still firing, whatever rockets he has left he will send to a different ship and will not keep firing in the same spot
Honestly, there is one animation showing a heavily damaged MK1 retreat into the sky with it's jetpack and suiting up with it's combat armor before slamming down to the ground that I think could really improve this boss, like having you think it's just a MK1 rematch then surprise, MK1C comes in with the steel chair! I also honestly agree that his color scheme is a bit goofy, but if they made the orange a dark red it would make it more intimidating, plus making his flame breath more powerful and unique, like using his thrusters to create an AOE burst of flame that sets everything around it on fire, and also using it's jetpack to leap into the air and slam it's dual swords into the ground to deal damage. Factor in your ideas of changes to his attacks and honestly I think it'd be way better.
Honestly I see some valid opinions on MK1C as I also feel that his missile hellfire attack is kinda bs as a warship user as the rockets are TINY, I feel that the devs should in fact make the rockets more visible and maybe make the attack have a charge up. Also Im pretty sure the orange look on MK1C is based off chainsaw man and I feel that it deserves to be my favourite boss (Although I guess we all have different opinions)
I remember John saying on one of the streams that MK1C was supposed to be MK1 Custom but he changed it to MK1 Combat last minute, that's why the color scheme is like that
Hello! I really liked your video and I agree with your points. Personally one gripe I have with MK 1 Combat is the fact that his original fire breath attack is nullified and instead replaced with the laser modules on his head. While the lasers were fine, it would have been cool if the two were sort of combined; where his initial attack is conventional fire, burning the towers closest to him, before narrowing and transitioning into the fine, precise laser that he has (Sort of like Shin Godzilla's atomic breath), where it slowly increases in range and can attack towers further away from him. It would have made MK 1 Combat seem like a direct upgrade to his MK 1 counterpart, because IMO MK 1C just feels like MK1 with armour and new weapons slapped on him. Just my opinion. Lovely video!
A bit off topic. But I want to point out about MK1C's attacks. The thing about MK1C that I've noticed is that it really lean towards to be MK1 but stronger. To the point that it also includes the gameplay. It pretty much have EVERY ability that MK1 has, just with different presentation. The only thing that's completely unique from MK1 is the Shield ability and the Rocket Storm (Warship destroyer variant) (though honestly you might argue that it is based on MK1 Triple Rocket Barrage) The other abilities I believe is based on the respective MK1 abilities. Chainsaw Spin - Sword Spin Large Jam ability - Medium Jam ability Rocket Storm (Random target variant) - 12 Rocket Barrage Focus Laser - Triple Rocket Barrage 2nd Phase (heal and shield, unlocks 2 abilities) - 2nd Phase (heal, unlocks 2 abilities) Chainsaw Smash - Sword Smash Laser Sweep - Flamethrower. Like I'm not saying the similarity is bad. IMO it's pretty neat since it's indeed pretty much an upgraded MK1. But just like on what you pointed out, the abilities being hard to react and such make it feels overall "cheap" to say the least. I never had issues with the rockets tbh. They are annoying but the apex predators rocket is worse as it can kill like 25 golden mine layers at once. I belive thats the worst attack.
It would be cool if he could toss his sword onto a crowd of towers, have it stick upright in the ground, and fire a constant ability EMP wave. Eventually, the sword would gravitate back to MK I C. It would switch up the whole meta for the boss, especially with the oil rig GJugg, commando and DJ spam
Honestly: black & white would look instead of a road cone like zebra crossing. My idea? Grey & black. Only that, no orange or anything else. I feel like it would make him look stronger, all metal, and colour places won't look like weak spots. Also honestly, missle storm is absolute skill issue, you get enough time to see your WS health deplete

i think a cool design change would be that hes just actually PISSED. i like to imagine the eradicators have a really big ego just because their called "eradicator", so i think that after flying off eradicator mk. i was just HUMILIATED. HE was THE original eradicator, and he just flew out of the fight.
I love how you just straight up ignored his laser sweep 😭 (For those who don't know, Laser Sweep is the attack in phase 2 where he uses his lasers to instakill a lot of your towers in a specific area)
While I do respect your opinion. I personally disagree, I think his design is really cool and I like the black and orange color choice. I dont mind that he can easily destroy warships because warship is really overpowered and to have something than can easily counter that is fine in my opinion. Anyways, keep up the great work! 👍
The missile attack isn't too annoying for me. The thing I hate about mk1c IS THAT STUPID ONESHOT LASER ATTACK(the AOE one) dont get me wrong, it is very cool, but the amount of golden juggs, edjs, medics, etc that get oneshotted from this singular attack is something that annoys me a ton.
One thing I would like you to touch on is how health regent has kinda broken a lot of boss design. Because the towers can regen on the wave between attacks, any non-instakills end up feeling pointless, especially in endless and elite modes. I don't think that the revived plague has EVER killed one of my towers post-endless update, and even mkII struggles on some of the beefier towers. I think if we disabled health regent on boss waves, the average boss would be a lot more fun, as well as not neccesitating the need for flat out instakills as often. Maybe this guys missiles could actually do a fair amount of damage then? Or his chainsaw spin thing could actually be threatening? Or mkI and revived plague doctor could actually start racking up kills? Thought I had while playing, because it seems like the spirit of old tdx bosses (chaotic madness you have to do everything you can to stay on top of) has kinda been lost for a lot of them. The only ones in recent memory I have liked are vile engineer and the void.
the warship killer move you came up with for mkic sounds a lot like voids warship killer move but i dont mind. but i think we'd rather have that then missles you cant see. i will say his traffic cone color scheme is an oddity considering all the the other eradicators have militaristic color schemes not that of the department of transportation
I dont know about other maps but mk1c’s rockets always take 5-6 seconds to sink a warship on oil rig. And it always targets the same one so i think the player would get used to him after 3-4 games
I think that when nightmare mode is out, mark 1c will be the ONLY boss with sheild which is why he has a visible one. The sheild is there on other bosses in endless to buff them, other changes I think will happen will be that Apex predator will not spawn anywhere near as many predators, like he did if he spawned in TB nightmare he would only spawn like 2 of each kind. @@RehanHuda145 I thought that was a given considering that they were made for a nightmare mode which then became endless because there wasn't enough time to make nightmare. Atleast that's how I remember the story.
The rocket launchers that mk1c uses to shoot his rockets look like big rockets. It would be nice if in his second phase, he would launch his two rocket launchers at your two most expensive towers (in a fast pace but not fast enough to make you unable to react) dealing big damage to them if not one shooting them and dealing aoe damage.
If you are on a map without water just place something really far, and his rockets will target that, like i just placed barracks as far as i could and all his missles went there.
I thought I was the only one who didn't like this boss! Though I like his design, being something new and improved of Mk I. But I wholely agree, tracking his missiles suck, the swords should have an animation to reflect an actual chainsaw, and overall I think the boss in its current state is just annoying to fight.

Missile storm aint really that hard to deal with, i can reliably sell warships before it hits them, but the thing i HATE is the FUCKING LASER SWEEP, basically kills hundreds and thousands of dollars instantly, i think it should become a flamethrower and deal like half the HP of a max gold juggernaut, but it also applies a very strong burning effect, so that ATLEAST you get a chance to sell some of them before they die
As a warship player I have found that almost all warship killing abilities target the furthest warship making it possible for micro but most of the time the hellstorms are too fast. Also I HATE apex predator single fire hand attack kills warship WAY too fast
One thing I dislike about the boss is that it one shots most of the time. Sure, apex predator one shots upon death, but at least the difference is that it gives you time to react to sell nearby towers. The other doesn't.
Ngl if ur saying that missle attack is untrackable to sell warship in time ur so wrong and thats just a skill issue. He does an animation by litteraly stopping and shooting out the missles somewhat like erad mkII. Also all the missles target just one warship so you dont need to track how many missles go towards which warships and calculate which will do enough dmg to kill it and the barrage that goes towards warships is very visible. Even if you take into consideration fact that missles of mkIC are faster than mkIVs nuke its still irrelevant cuz warship can tank multiple of those rockets before dying so if u by any chance dont see correctly and missles end up attacking other warship than u selected you still have time to reselect to another and sell. And talking about orange is a bad design. I personally love the design and i find orange more fitting than white since orange feels like a sign of danger and fire and we can check both of those factors. Endgame killing machine? Check. Has a devastating fire attack that destroys half of ur g juggs in a sec? Also check. So i dont really agree with anything you said in this video and i think talking about visuals in this video even tho you pointed out that its subjective is unneseccary. Oh and one thing you suggested that he would fly up and charge up the laser attack facing warship and that it would be more reactable and fair. 1 it would make it harder to sell warships before he actually attacked them since laser would instantly hit and didnt have fly time. 2 Imagine a scenario where there are 2 warships lined up in his sight. Which one are you selling? Both? 3 Also if ur currently doing smth else and not facing the boss its pretty much impossible to react to it being 3 sec. 4 I have to point out a good use of a jetpack tho cuz he doesnt rl use it. 5 It would be unrealistic. Simply. Ok now id like you to imagine mkIC charging up the laser on a warship and you sell it right. Wouldnt he retarget to a different one? I mean it seems like a 2nd nature. If bosses shoot out attacks then atleast it makes sense they target something but that thing is not there anymore when they reach it. I actually think this boss is very balanced for the wave he appears at and i think calamity is more unbalanced thanks to his rng if anyone is curious about my opinion on calamity he can tell me to explain it. Now that I know that all Eradicators are cyborgs, i have more questions than answers How the hell did they get such gigantic humans, plate them in armor, that knows how to use their equipment and powers perfectly, and able to hold such powerful and sturdy armor on them whilst being shot at? We see that 1C's skull is as big as his head, which means the humans arent small at all, so how?
to be honest for new player it would be better to show some image when you say something like at the first part and 3rd one of the video etc to make the video a bit more cool to watch BUUUUUT most of the vid is cool
ok so I got to say I kind of disagree with you, of course I respect your opinion people like different things but there some stuff you missed: things I agree: * traffic cone colors, even though the reason for the colors is that the emk1 also uses bright orange they could have used a darker orange and dark grey to give the appearance a more menacing look instead of the weird tiger looking face *the swords, even though chainsaw swords are cool its true that they should have kept the brutal cleaver with saw teeth in the back of the blade look things I disagree: *sword attacks, while its true that they are quite bland they are still sword attacks there's no need to look that deep into it, making it do something else like throw it and then it coming back is just a stretch *laser attacks, the thing with laser attacks is that of course they are gonna be unpredictable destructive attacks that's their nature, there has to be an attack that puts the player on a hard situation to overcome *hellfire missiles, there's really nothing wrong with them the reason they are like they are is that before mk1 was defeated via overwhelming abusing the lack of missiles output he had, in this upgraded version he obviously will have a more drowning devastating version of it to combat the hordes of our towers and well the fact that we are literally playing the hardest mode, of course his attacks will be hard to read and take actions against, they just improved the areas where mk1 was lacking in conclusion I think most of the complains are kind of why is a "hardcore" boss so hard, still its just normal to disagree on things and agree on others. Like the fact that MK4 deservers his insurance money from the company for sliping on that wet spot during work.
I think i used ws for maybe 200h the mk ic missile ability isn't really hard to dodge . Mk ic does it when he spawn . 30sec later he does it Again and if he use the revive ability idk how to call it .he will use the ability 10sec later . I understand how hard it can be to see the missiles but for me its not a very big issue ( i hate calamity for the scream ability when it is under 1M hp you cant micro your ws you just let them die xD )

I can understand why you don't like it but honestly the SFX are super cool, the shield, the lasers, i do hate the rockets though they are so annoying. But i do like the design he gives chainsaw man vibes one of my favorite animes... Overall good take i can see why you don't like it.
I feel like the saws would be cooler if they moved. Full disclosure - Im not knowledgeable on chainsaw man but I don't see the resemblance. The VFX is cool though

hot take but I really dont like apex predator that much he just deals way too much damage and kills warships way to fast. I look away for 1 second and he killed like 4 warships. Spawning a ton of predators is also kinda lame when calamity does the same thing but cooler 10 waves later. His design is pretty awesome though, I just dont like the attacks. Having a doctor disrespect reference is also kinda cool.
honestly i disagree, mk1c has good colour and black & white looks odd on anything the missile hellfire part isn't THAT bad as you make it out to be and your idea is basically void's telekinesis but with lasers just my opinion though

I was actually sad none of their attacks were fire-related. When I first saw the design for Eradicator MK1C. I thought their attacks were going to utilize fire more. After all, their main color scheme is orange, and fire is typically a red/orange color.

Same. People keep saying things like “Oh, he’s too chaotic!” meanwhile the C in his name means Combat, and Combat is hardly ever predictable. The color meanings you gave actually fit pretty well, black being death, while orange means active and spontaneous. It fits really well that he charges in there like Big John just like “C’mon, kill me! I’m here, kill me, you ugly sonuvab*tch!” while absolutely bombarding your towers, leaving none standing (unless you use XWM like me #XWMgang). Very nice design, very nice attack, fitting for a boss that’s an old foe brought back, one that wants to kill us all. Even his theme has the chant “Sink your teeth in”, meaning that if you wanna beat MKIC, you gotta really TRY to beat him,because if he’s gonna sink his teeth in, you’ve gotta sink *your* teeth in. Lovely.

My ideas to “fix” MKIC
Honestly they should have made the MKIC deploy like an avatar, but basically next to the path. Basically no gameplay impact but extremely visually appealing and intimidating
All attacks have a visual charge up and cooldown. Before lasers are fired, he charges up like a slower apex predator and after he fires, he can’t use lasers for one ability turn, and the laser module is visually smoking until then.
Chainsaws should be animated or just be two of the original eradicator swords.
The missle attacks should have a little charge up, and also have a distinct tracer effect that fits the boss’s color scheme. kinda like how apex aims his quad launcher. For warship takedowns, he launches up, faces wareship, uses laser to aim and sorta lock on before obliterating the warship with 10 gazillion missles. For aoe, he simply stances up and then fires his missles into the air, to rain onto the targets, kind of like a raptor storm but more pathetic.

While it would be obscenely hard to do, I would love if the chains spun while erad mk1c tries to cut through the multiple towers near him and it’d slowly rip through like how the chainsaws work in doom games y’know? It’d be like a better version of that instant unreactable laser attack that just insta deletes your ground towers.
As someone who really likes Mk1C, I'd say that this video is pretty fair, and even reminded me of some things I did not notice while banging my head to his theme, but I gotta mention that at first, this thing's "C" in the name used to stand for "Custom" instead of "Combat", so we can assume that Xenon decided to make a personal Eradicator model with maxed out features of the original to bring on missions (hence the wiping of Europe's division), which explains the "Enraged Carrot" paintjob, maybe Xenon really, really likes carrots... *Cough,* numerous people have said this, but the swords both for the original and the C-version need to be updated and animated, so they become actual chainsaws, and lastly, I agree wholeheartedly on the redesign of Mk1C's attacks, he needs to be more fair but ferocious, as he always gave off the impression of the most violent/crazy model, above MkII in terms of unhinged.
and how can you forget the laser sweep attack that has basically no telegraphing and can instakill max gjuggs!
I think the color orange is the best color for eradicator mk ic. Any other color would look wonky on him as you can see from golden erad mkic. Plus it fits his theme because its been theorized that he is the upgraded version of eradicator, and eradicator's whole theme is black and orange even the enemies are black and orange. And for the rocket attack, the only thing that should be changed is he faces the warship he wanna kills because what would be the point of his rocket pods if he's just gonna use the Lazer on his head
I think design wise MK1C could TOTALLY sell his design better with a newer model. His chainsaw blades need to actually MOVE and the blades need to smaller and higher in frequency, even if it could cause minor lag.
Also, his orange-traffic cone like color scheme can and has been sold by other mecha designs. Bright designs like that in a military setting screams a sort of bravado-esque emotion, bc the target has no care for 'hiding' and simply wishes to communicate to its foes a message of pure danger/power. If MK1C had more flashy attacks and maybe a blood/skull decal on his body or two, he could look pretty cool.

I like the way you think about MK1-C's appearance and matching his personality into him.
Even if the colour changes like black and grey is applied, the swords will be the only ones standing out.
If the devs choose to recolour and redesign the swords, sacrificing the hot orange colour may effect it's matching personality.

I am already aware of that, but even if they choose to change colors, they may leave details of where the orange colors are.
E.g. orange stripes, etc.
Something cool about the 3 main bosses of endless (excluding calamity) is that they seem to focus on having different styles of attacking, mk4 focuses on long range with the primary attack being his artillery.
Mk1 combat mainly is close range but I like to think of it like this, he does mostly medium range attacks like the laser and rocket attacks for the first phase, then goes berserk in the 2nd phase and goes all out on close range attacks.
Apex predator does the perfect mix of both mk4 and mk1 combat, having decently strong close range attacks like the flamethrower, but still good long range attacks like the quadruple rocket burst and the laser eye thingy.
Calamity is just kinda a tank for other bosses to hide behind (like void on wave 180)
And technically the best and worst at killing towers.
0:54 The chainsaws themselves aren't bad, but the fact that they did absolutely nothing with them. All he does is a sword spin and ground slam, which could have been achieved with literally any other weapon. That was the real problem with the chainsaws.

That attack is definitely his most memorable attack and almost every player(who knows about it) fears it, its an area attack that one-shots with almost no foreswing to telegraph it, it is definitely worse than the missile attack unless you have warships, it also prioritises higher value towers first so placing baits is not a counter.
Mk1C is one of my favourite bosses in the game and his design is definitely inspired by chainsaw man with the black stripes on his head, the chainsaws he holds, and the black orange colour scheme.
Also I think he looks cute with those big "eyes", but thats probably just me.
He dose it a little after starting phase 2, so wait 2 or so seconds then Uber (or get whoever have medics) to Uber the towers the attack will hit to minigate the loss then it's a while before it dose it again, but you should have killed it by then I've done this a few times and it's worked every time, hope that helps

2:59 the first missile that hits doesn’t kill the warship, all of them have to hit for it to be killed, meaning you can quickly search around to see which one is taking damage

I think how MK1C should work is since it usually dies crazy fast, it should work more like an assault boss. The boss's theme song is super fast and intense but Mk1C himself doesn't really move to quick. I think his walking animation should be changed to him having both swords out like in the render for the song. He should have an attack where he runs forward crazy fast and swings his swords allover the place to eradicate (see what I did there?) towers that stand in his path. and once he hits his 2nd phase he loses this attack but his main attacks start coming out WAY faster to seem more desperate. and the lower health he gets, he should start smoking or something so it seems like he's actually overheating. His hissy fit attack where he slams his swords into the ground should deal more damage, laser sweep should have a longer cooldown, and I think your ideas for the missile replacement is neat.

one thing to address tho is that in my experience I’ve always been able to predict where mk ic would attack with the rocket attack (Unless if there’s like 20+ warships around the map), so you might have A LIIIIIIIIIITTTTLLEEE bit overdid how unpredictable the attack is. But ur idea for the new attack is better. Ain’t no way 30 rockets is supposed to kill a warship💀💀💀

I agree with most of the points you made although I semi disagree with the changes to mk1c’s attacks, I liked them being unpredictable because the boss seems much more erratic and wild than the other erad, although I would make the missile attack attack every warship with the missile spread evenly among the warships. It’ll put all your warships in danger of dying since damage it being dealt to every warship, but not one tapping them means you can predict how much longer it can survive so when it does the attack again you can sell it
Yeah i would agree, he seems much like a more hatred filled boss. He was specificly designed in mind for his role. What furthers this idea of crazed, boss would be when half of his face platings are torn off. The skinless head seems like its in pure agony so it mercilessly kills without second thought. Unless you have high dps and use the pubk buster on my boy then there aint no 2nd Phase

There are quite a few things I don't exactly agree with, but the rocket barrage against the Warships do not 1 shot unless they are not upgraded. Yes any warship will die in one full attack from the barrage, but they will not be one shot. The damage of the rockets give you about 1 second if not a little bit more time to sell once it has been hot with the first rocket. However, do not sell your warship until after you see that he has finished firing the rockets. If you do sell while he is still firing, whatever rockets he has left he will send to a different ship and will not keep firing in the same spot
Honestly, there is one animation showing a heavily damaged MK1 retreat into the sky with it's jetpack and suiting up with it's combat armor before slamming down to the ground that I think could really improve this boss, like having you think it's just a MK1 rematch then surprise, MK1C comes in with the steel chair! I also honestly agree that his color scheme is a bit goofy, but if they made the orange a dark red it would make it more intimidating, plus making his flame breath more powerful and unique, like using his thrusters to create an AOE burst of flame that sets everything around it on fire, and also using it's jetpack to leap into the air and slam it's dual swords into the ground to deal damage. Factor in your ideas of changes to his attacks and honestly I think it'd be way better.

Honestly I see some valid opinions on MK1C as I also feel that his missile hellfire attack is kinda bs as a warship user as the rockets are TINY, I feel that the devs should in fact make the rockets more visible and maybe make the attack have a charge up. Also Im pretty sure the orange look on MK1C is based off chainsaw man and I feel that it deserves to be my favourite boss (Although I guess we all have different opinions)

I remember John saying on one of the streams that MK1C was supposed to be MK1 Custom but he changed it to MK1 Combat last minute, that's why the color scheme is like that
Hello! I really liked your video and I agree with your points. Personally one gripe I have with MK 1 Combat is the fact that his original fire breath attack is nullified and instead replaced with the laser modules on his head.
While the lasers were fine, it would have been cool if the two were sort of combined; where his initial attack is conventional fire, burning the towers closest to him, before narrowing and transitioning into the fine, precise laser that he has (Sort of like Shin Godzilla's atomic breath), where it slowly increases in range and can attack towers further away from him.
It would have made MK 1 Combat seem like a direct upgrade to his MK 1 counterpart, because IMO MK 1C just feels like MK1 with armour and new weapons slapped on him. Just my opinion.

A bit off topic. But I want to point out about MK1C's attacks. The thing about MK1C that I've noticed is that it really lean towards to be MK1 but stronger. To the point that it also includes the gameplay.
It pretty much have EVERY ability that MK1 has, just with different presentation. The only thing that's completely unique from MK1 is the Shield ability and the Rocket Storm (Warship destroyer variant) (though honestly you might argue that it is based on MK1 Triple Rocket Barrage)
The other abilities I believe is based on the respective MK1 abilities.
Chainsaw Spin - Sword Spin
Large Jam ability - Medium Jam ability
Rocket Storm (Random target variant) - 12 Rocket Barrage
Focus Laser - Triple Rocket Barrage
2nd Phase (heal and shield, unlocks 2 abilities) - 2nd Phase (heal, unlocks 2 abilities)
Chainsaw Smash - Sword Smash
Laser Sweep - Flamethrower.
Like I'm not saying the similarity is bad. IMO it's pretty neat since it's indeed pretty much an upgraded MK1. But just like on what you pointed out, the abilities being hard to react and such make it feels overall "cheap" to say the least.

I never had issues with the rockets tbh. They are annoying but the apex predators rocket is worse as it can kill like 25 golden mine layers at once. I belive thats the worst attack.

It would be cool if he could toss his sword onto a crowd of towers, have it stick upright in the ground, and fire a constant ability EMP wave. Eventually, the sword would gravitate back to MK I C. It would switch up the whole meta for the boss, especially with the oil rig GJugg, commando and DJ spam

black & white would look instead of a road cone like zebra crossing. My idea? Grey & black. Only that, no orange or anything else. I feel like it would make him look stronger, all metal, and colour places won't look like weak spots.
Also honestly, missle storm is absolute skill issue, you get enough time to see your WS health deplete

i think a cool design change would be that hes just actually PISSED. i like to imagine the eradicators have a really big ego just because their called "eradicator", so i think that after flying off eradicator mk. i was just HUMILIATED. HE was THE original eradicator, and he just flew out of the fight.

While I do respect your opinion. I personally disagree, I think his design is really cool and I like the black and orange color choice. I dont mind that he can easily destroy warships because warship is really overpowered and to have something than can easily counter that is fine in my opinion. Anyways, keep up the great work! 👍

The missile attack isn't too annoying for me. The thing I hate about mk1c IS THAT STUPID ONESHOT LASER ATTACK(the AOE one) dont get me wrong, it is very cool, but the amount of golden juggs, edjs, medics, etc that get oneshotted from this singular attack is something that annoys me a ton.

One thing I would like you to touch on is how health regent has kinda broken a lot of boss design. Because the towers can regen on the wave between attacks, any non-instakills end up feeling pointless, especially in endless and elite modes. I don't think that the revived plague has EVER killed one of my towers post-endless update, and even mkII struggles on some of the beefier towers. I think if we disabled health regent on boss waves, the average boss would be a lot more fun, as well as not neccesitating the need for flat out instakills as often. Maybe this guys missiles could actually do a fair amount of damage then? Or his chainsaw spin thing could actually be threatening? Or mkI and revived plague doctor could actually start racking up kills? Thought I had while playing, because it seems like the spirit of old tdx bosses (chaotic madness you have to do everything you can to stay on top of) has kinda been lost for a lot of them. The only ones in recent memory I have liked are vile engineer and the void.

I dont know about other maps but mk1c’s rockets always take 5-6 seconds to sink a warship on oil rig. And it always targets the same one so i think the player would get used to him after 3-4 games

I had originally thought mk1c would have a twin blade in phase 1 and rip it apart into 2 in phase 2
I think that when nightmare mode is out, mark 1c will be the ONLY boss with sheild which is why he has a visible one. The sheild is there on other bosses in endless to buff them, other changes I think will happen will be that Apex predator will not spawn anywhere near as many predators, like he did if he spawned in TB nightmare he would only spawn like 2 of each kind.

The rocket launchers that mk1c uses to shoot his rockets look like big rockets. It would be nice if in his second phase, he would launch his two rocket launchers at your two most expensive towers (in a fast pace but not fast enough to make you unable to react) dealing big damage to them if not one shooting them and dealing aoe damage.

Missile storm aint really that hard to deal with, i can reliably sell warships before it hits them, but the thing i HATE is the FUCKING LASER SWEEP, basically kills hundreds and thousands of dollars instantly, i think it should become a flamethrower and deal like half the HP of a max gold juggernaut, but it also applies a very strong burning effect, so that ATLEAST you get a chance to sell some of them before they die
As a warship player I have found that almost all warship killing abilities target the furthest warship making it possible for micro but most of the time the hellstorms are too fast.
Also I HATE apex predator single fire hand attack kills warship WAY too fast
One thing I dislike about the boss is that it one shots most of the time. Sure, apex predator one shots upon death, but at least the difference is that it gives you time to react to sell nearby towers. The other doesn't.

He does an animation by litteraly stopping and shooting out the missles somewhat like erad mkII. Also all the missles target just one warship so you dont need to track how many missles go towards which warships and calculate which will do enough dmg to kill it and the barrage that goes towards warships is very visible. Even if you take into consideration fact that missles of mkIC are faster than mkIVs nuke its still irrelevant cuz warship can tank multiple of those rockets before dying so if u by any chance dont see correctly and missles end up attacking other warship than u selected you still have time to reselect to another and sell. And talking about orange is a bad design. I personally love the design and i find orange more fitting than white since orange feels like a sign of danger and fire and we can check both of those factors.

1 it would make it harder to sell warships before he actually attacked them since laser would instantly hit and didnt have fly time.
2 Imagine a scenario where there are 2 warships lined up in his sight. Which one are you selling? Both?
3 Also if ur currently doing smth else and not facing the boss its pretty much impossible to react to it being 3 sec.

I actually think this boss is very balanced for the wave he appears at and i think calamity is more unbalanced thanks to his rng if anyone is curious about my opinion on calamity he can tell me to explain it. Cheers.🎉

How the hell did they get such gigantic humans, plate them in armor, that knows how to use their equipment and powers perfectly, and able to hold such powerful and sturdy armor on them whilst being shot at? We see that 1C's skull is as big as his head, which means the humans arent small at all, so how?

to be honest for new player it would be better to show some image when you say something like at the first part and 3rd one of the video etc to make the video a bit more cool to watch BUUUUUT most of the vid is cool
ok so I got to say I kind of disagree with you, of course I respect your opinion people like different things but there some stuff you missed:
things I agree:
* traffic cone colors, even though the reason for the colors is that the emk1 also uses bright orange they could have used a darker orange and dark grey to give the appearance a more menacing look instead of the weird tiger looking face
*the swords, even though chainsaw swords are cool its true that they should have kept the brutal cleaver with saw teeth in the back of the blade look
things I disagree:
*sword attacks, while its true that they are quite bland they are still sword attacks there's no need to look that deep into it, making it do something else like throw it and then it coming back is just a stretch
*laser attacks, the thing with laser attacks is that of course they are gonna be unpredictable destructive attacks that's their nature, there has to be an attack that puts the player on a hard situation to overcome
*hellfire missiles, there's really nothing wrong with them the reason they are like they are is that before mk1 was defeated via overwhelming abusing the lack of missiles output he had, in this upgraded version he obviously will have a more drowning devastating version of it to combat the hordes of our towers and well the fact that we are literally playing the hardest mode, of course his attacks will be hard to read and take actions against, they just improved the areas where mk1 was lacking
in conclusion I think most of the complains are kind of why is a "hardcore" boss so hard, still its just normal to disagree on things and agree on others.
Like the fact that MK4 deservers his insurance money from the company for sliping on that wet spot during work.

I think i used ws for maybe 200h the mk ic missile ability isn't really hard to dodge . Mk ic does it when he spawn . 30sec later he does it Again and if he use the revive ability idk how to call it .he will use the ability 10sec later . I understand how hard it can be to see the missiles but for me its not a very big issue ( i hate calamity for the scream ability when it is under 1M hp you cant micro your ws you just let them die xD )

I can understand why you don't like it but honestly the SFX are super cool, the shield, the lasers, i do hate the rockets though they are so annoying. But i do like the design he gives chainsaw man vibes one of my favorite animes... Overall good take i can see why you don't like it.
I feel like the saws would be cooler if they moved. Full disclosure - Im not knowledgeable on chainsaw man but I don't see the resemblance.

Mk 1c is supposed to be the enhanced mk1 in every way.
hot take but I really dont like apex predator that much he just deals way too much damage and kills warships way to fast. I look away for 1 second and he killed like 4 warships. Spawning a ton of predators is also kinda lame when calamity does the same thing but cooler 10 waves later. His design is pretty awesome though, I just dont like the attacks. Having a doctor disrespect reference is also kinda cool.

I was actually sad none of their attacks were fire-related.
When I first saw the design for Eradicator MK1C. I thought their attacks were going to utilize fire more. After all, their main color scheme is orange, and fire is typically a red/orange color.
