Your home is lovely and charming, and you are so clever! I hope the kids appreciate an ingenious mom! Heather Chadduck Hilegas had made picture rails "a thing" since she's been the most recent Colonial Williamsburg Designer in Residence. I like your version better. But, I think the little wall frame stencil is my favorite of these hacks. It reminds me of my favorite 1980s TV show, "Newhart." Their fictional Stratford Inn in Vermont had gorgeous subtle green stenciling on the lobby walls. A happy design brings happy memories to mind!
That is awesome! I remember that show vaguely so I’m gonna have to watch it again and see that green stenciling! We toured Biltmore Estate when I was in elementary school and they had hand painted trim in the “kids rooms” that I’ve been thinking about for 30+ years lol 😂 I remember thinking it was the prettiest thing!
I haven’t even finished watching the video and already I’M OBSESSED! These are genius and finally someone shares home decorating that isn’t costly!! I already have most of the items to do these! You are amazing!! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
The little details you added to your stairs were so simple and elegant.

Thank you, Linda! ❤️
Great ideas! Another idea to decorate light switch covers is putting a pretty frame around it! The rocking chair looks so comfortable and cozy now.
Yes that would be beautiful! I’ll be on the hunt for some! 😊❤️
