No, it was an expensive one from a well-known fabricator/brand here in SE Qld. We're not here to bag other workshops etc. so won't be naming names & we filmed this video so you can't see their logo. Sometimes it is hard to gauge power loss. Bit like throttle controllers - people who install them think that they have heaps more power & torque when they don't, they just have the exact same power/torque output.

so what if the owner still wants to run a snorkel for safe creek crossings and the like ? Do you recommend and particular style of snorkel ?
That is fine. This is an airbox we are talking about in this video - NOT the snorkel.
what dodgy brand air box? (Cheap ebay from China?) How did the customer not feel the loss after fitting the air box?

Those aftermarket air boxes are no good. A K&N replacement filter would be better on any car
