    The truly masterful artists evolve are never know it all's are never unreachable it is the ever perfecting fine tuning buffing out the dullness KEEPING everything as bright vibrant and best communicating each and every note sung just as the composer intended and even enhancing and showcasing those intended emotions of every note every lyric. You know when you are hearing a master because from the first vocalization you are transported and carried away hanging onto every note with eager anticipation suffering each sorrow of the character and feeling exhilaration with each victory. You feel lost but very much belonging swept away from time and place witnessing and hearing this masters ethereal voice....it is breathtaking, it is the breath of life breathed into your very SOUL, it is the afterglow of the most satisfying experience your soul left content and complete. This is the journey you embark on with a true master....the ever evolving perfectionist that enjoys celebrates and feels complete LOYALTY DEDICATION and eternal passionationate commitment to loving the gift of voice even more so the joy to support and encourage others whjo have that gift ...that is a true master class artist.

    Wow! Joyce DiDonato is an amazing coach & she sounds like a vocal genius to me as I listen to her coach Amalia in this video & in another one. These women & their gift are literally attracting my interest towards Opera; & I've never really been a big fan. But, there is something about their enthusiasm that is amazingly infectious, & now I'm like "Gosh Dang!" that's good. I guess I just had an epiphany. I'm compelled to do more listening research so I can just be exposed to these beautiful voices. I like it; well, I really like it.

      Michael's ML&ATG at first it seems such a weird foreign art, especially how it's often culturally portrayed. But in my opinion there's nothing as blissful once you sink your teeth into the art

      Michael, "their gift" ? Opera singers work for decades to develop their beauty and magnificence, often paying more for their voice lessons than they pay for rent which relegates them to a life of poverty - if the magnificence of opera singers was a "gift", why did they spend thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars on voice lessons, why did they sacrifice their social life and conveniences and luxuries, why did they spend years and years and decades working when others were taking vacations and hanging out with friends? To marginalize their decades of work as a "gift" is insanely disrespectful, insanely shallow and insanely superficial.

    J'ai connu jadis un excellent professeur de chant, toutefois, vous battez tous les records de compétences pédagogiques artistiques que nous puissions découvrir à ce jour. Bravo à vous Madame Joyce et longue vie dans cette voie. ....

    36:11 OMG that's an epiphany...where you start manufacturing sound is a red light. Awesome (as far as figuring out your best range/area/repertoire)

      blackngold cuttlefish it's an old bel canto truth. We have to first uncover our purest natural voice and get ourselves out of the way for the correct technique to fall in place and the voice to finally become free. One of the most subtly dangerous things an aspiring opera singer can do is try to sound how we want to sound, rather than accepting the voice we have

    So many times I want to see the singer have a PHYSICAL exercise program. Cardio, abs, weights, stretching, etc.
    This singer would benefit tremendously from strengthening her abs, lungs, spinal alignment, shoulders. I feel like she would drastically change everything about her performance.
    When did it ever become ok for a performer to be carrying weight excessively? It's your career to make your work superlative in every way possible. Strong body, strong heart, strong voice, strong performances with increased breath control, power, volume, range etc. It's still all muscles, tendons, ligaments and all.
    Something to ponder.

    Beautiful voice but her placement is not in the mask enough.

    • @draganvidic2039
      @draganvidic2039 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s good because VOICE SHOULD NEVER BE PLACED IN THE MASK.
      Yes short soprano DiDonato tries to make her nasal and masky of course..

    This girl sings better than Joice and want to get a lesson from her. If she would sing like Callas, I think Joice would advice something even in this case)))
    And how can she analyse the music of Verdi if she dont/can t sing Verdi, Puccini, etc
    P S And of course she destroys her chest voice
