Reading and Northern 425: The Autumn Leaf Limited

On October 23rd and 24th of 2021, Reading and Northern 4-6-2 #425 was assigned to the fall foliage trains that ran between Reading and Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. This loud pacific puts on an absolutely outstanding show as she climbs the grade from Reading to Hometown, and coasts downgrade into Jim Thorpe. As well as the return trip, 425 works up Hometown Hill, and glides downhill at track speed back to Reading. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend, and with no sun, it made the locations even easier to capture. Lets follow 425 as she makes her round trip journey on "The Autumn Leaf Limited" from Reading to Jim Thorpe and back. Enjoy!

Wow, that’s great! Can’t wait to hear that 2102 will be back if she takes over for 425 whenever she goes down for a 1472 Day Inspection by the end of next year! Maybe when 425 comes back after the 1472 Day Inspection, then she’ll be doubleheading with 2102 if possible! Great job btw!
