Good how to overall. Only note I would add for viewers is to please add the metal clips after the grille is inserted into the bumper. Adding them before inserting the grill, like the video shows, will scratch your bumper substantially.
I believe the lower grille video will be coming soon. With TMI in town this week, we've been focusing on their products, but we'll get back to the lower grille soon. - Matt B.
I've ordered the upper grille from CJ Pony Parts, looks great. I hope that the lower matching Roush grille (part # 421496) is released very soon. Many people are waiting for it!!!
9:07 and on, Notice the black video frame covering up the license plate :) Just messing CJ great install video. I have my roush grille and am ready to do this step by step based on this video.
I have seen the stock lights left behind the grill on other cars but we did not attempt to install it that way so I do not know if any modifications would be needed.
The top hole alignment and the bumper sticking out are the same problem. The ends of the bumper have clips on the outside edges that have to line up and snap into place. If you don't have them lined up properly the edge of the bumper will stick out 1/2 inch or so and the inner screw will also not line up. Just remove all three screws, pull out on the edge of the bumper and while pushing the edge towards the front of the car push the bumper cover inward. You should hear it snap into place.
Airflow to the radiator is one of the reasons for the grill, the other is simply cosmetic. Personally I prefer the look of the smaller driving lights and with the factory HIDs they are plenty bright enough for me
Is this grill shinny or a flat black? I have a stock 2014 v6 and am looking for something diffenent,, basically a clean look without the horse, thinking about painting the stock stuff...
Thank you for the video. Really appreciate you guys taking the time to help not so smart people like me. Taking off and installing the grille was no problem but I ran into a few issues when putting everything back together. The first one was when the top hole didn't line up for the screw on the side of the car ( three holes by each tire). The second problem was the corner of the bumpers are sticking out and not flush with the fenders. Could you give me any advice?
Great video. This helped a lot. Any idea when the lower grille will be released? I don't wanna get the upper and then have to install the lower separately when it comes out

In theory it's possibly but its a very tight space and I never tried. The fog lights wouldn't be bad but some of the clips on the grill could be difficult.
That is an insane amount of work just to upgrade the grille.
Best Grille Install Video on Utube and still useful today! Thanks Bill!

Nick Berkel looked way too late 🙁
How to install gt grill with lights to v6 mustang 2013 ?? What do I need to buy !??

We do offer a few options for the 2012 V6 but this grill is for the 2013-2014s

its a way to install it without remove the whole front ? to much work for just a grill

Can anyone give me the part number for the 8mm bolts for the lower air deflector?

It has a gloss to it, I would not say its particularly shiny but its absolutely not flat black.
How to demustang your mustang 😂. Thanks for the vid though, needed to know how to do the reverse of this, previous owner really wanted a v6.
Does the fog lights have to be relocated or can it stay behind the roush grille?
Man if you have asked about the lower grill, we currently have them in stock. Part number is G123
Guys, ALL the metal clips go facing inward. Do NOT place them outward like in this video, unless you all want your paint scratched.
All Kindz of Gainz saw this too late and my bumper is screwed
If my mustang is stock and not lowered do I have to use a lift?
Will this fit a 2014 V6 with the Pony Package? I'm told that I would need a grille surround.
my god this is alot of work for a grill .. i dont know if i can trust any garage shop to do this work on my 2014 premium gt
Would this process work if you wanted to keep the foglights mounted behind the new grill?
i often wonder why stang owners would want to get rid of a perfectly good set of fog lights...
he installed lower fog lights on this mustang, in a different video, the fog lights in the top grill on these mustangs is a ugly look.
For Roush, there is a nice fog light kit that relocated the bulbs to the bumper corners.
@@thatflaboy3948 The Stock GT foglight location looks good. This Roush delete here and add this here is a waste of money.
Quick question. I have a 2012 Gt but I'm wonder if I can make the front look like a 2013/14 Gt? What do I need to change if it possible.
Daniel sill most likely buy an entirely new bumper, grille, and fog lights
Man, lots of work just for a grill!!

Will this fit the 2012 v6?
American Racing 1 7/8 headers, 3 in off road X pipe, Ford Racing GTA mufflers
What's the exhaust on the mustang
American Racing 1 7/8 headers, 3 in off road X pipe, Ford Racing GTA mufflers
You will need to get the car off the ground to remove all the lower bolts to get the bumper off
can the grill or fog lights be removed without removing the bumper cover? for maintenance or lights swap
In theory it's possibly but its a very tight space and I never tried. The fog lights wouldn't be bad but some of the clips on the grill could be difficult.
Was that Styrofoam behind the front bumper?
Yup -.-
Rather kept the original I'm put the Eleanor grill on mine with the fog lights in the middle
It really shouldn't take more than 2 hours to install.
Not really an upgrade, stock GT grill looks 1000 times better.
