my wife just bought a 2015 mazda 3 with 40,000 miles,such a nice car and upgrade compared to her bought new in 1999 hyundai,the hyundai was great and reliable for 25 years and with only basic service lasted so well,cheap n cheerfull,now the mazda you can tell the interiour plastics are far better,the whole feel of course is modern,but i like best is its not the full spec car,has no lane departure warning etc,that stuff is over the top just be a better driver full stop!
No thanks, just did my annual transmission fluid and filter change myself. Cost about $100 in parts and fluid (Dexron VI $38 a gallon), well worth it, the already smooth shifting transmission shifts even smoother once more. Fluid comes out clean when done annually. How you keep a car 30 years.
@ I am sure that it is. But I have found with the stop and start city driving I do yearly in this car, that the fluid gets prematurely dirty. Also, a mechanic years back told me and my father at the time, “ change your fluid and filter yearly and you’ll never have a transmission problem”, so I run with that idea as well. This car is 30 years old, and it was my father’s last car.

What years or Toyota engines tend to burn the oil? Have an early 2.0L 2002 RAV4. No smoke at 280k miles but guessing valve guide seals may be worn as it wants extra oil now and then. Valve seals cured an old Volvo 240 of using extra oil (got tired of it at 513,000 miles). Enjoy your videos, thanks.

They split from Ford and 2014 was the first pure Mazda Mazda 3. But, to be safe, I would start with 2015 and newer. The car got larger and less sporty in 2019 ... still a good vehicle.
Mazda 3 is very classy, beautiful, easy to maintain, super reliable and extremely fun to drive! Its equivalent, Toyota Corolla on the other hand, looks like a LEGO car! LOL... You can't even compare it! Scotty is about to join the MAZDA LEAGUE!! -:)

You should google how the federal government subsidizes gasoline… Some people are so spoiled by the benefits of the federal government that they complain when other people enjoy those same benefits. You get dirt cheap heavily subsidized cheap gas but how dare someone get cheap alternative fuels 😂.

My '09 Camry just turned over 180k, still runs good, doesn't burn any oil. Not the fastest thing on the road but I'll hold onto it till I come up with the winning lotto ticket. Then I will likely search out a '19 or '20 Tundra with a V8.
Nobody knowledgeable that isn't a salesman will recommend any Mazda RX as a daily driver. Even people who love them won't recommend them as a daily driver. Unless you can do your own regular engine rebuild, Mazda RX models are just toys for the weekend.
Not really. had a 1987 sport RX-7. Rebuilding a 13B motor is a skill few have today. Oil changes are a must! The engines burn oil naturally. They also have a cold start issue. If you don't start the first time; sometimes you have the injection system flood.

When I got up and walked around the showroom so that I wouldn't snore, a sales rep found me :( However I love the '21 with the 6-speed auto even more! My 2012 Honda Fit Sport was made in Japan, 105,000 miles, gets 38-40 mpg. Never had a problem, until recently, when it developed the dreaded chain rattle in the VVT. Honda dealer claims it’s normal. How disappointing, since it will grenade the engine. Now, desperately looking for an independent mechanic. Sad, since I love this car!

if you want to be in the business of making money go and compete with the federal reserve or treasury. if youre in the business of making cars and selling them for a negotiable profit then we are here. but not buying anything new hybrid from any maker not even toyota. either going straight electric in the future only if the take out all the human control software, not buying a state controlled device, just a car. and battery has to be instant light speed charging. its electricity, invent it pronto.
Paid 4k for my used 09 Camry when it had exactly 200k miles on it back in 2018. I'm very close to hitting 600k now and it still runs like new. (Full synthetic every 5k miles like clock work) Wash & wax it every so often so, I haven't seen any paint chipping off but the color isn't as rich as before in some areas. I want a used 2015 V6 Tacoma, but the prices are ridiculous so, I may just end up getting another v4 Camry again if I can't find a reasonable fair priced Tacoma.✌🏾😤

They split from Ford and 2014 was the first pure Mazda Mazda 3. But, to be safe, I would start with 2015 and newer. The car got larger and less sporty in 2019 ... still a good vehicle.

There should be a level playing field, no type of vehicle should have an advantage created by a government, you buy the one that suits you.
You should google how the federal government subsidizes gasoline… Some people are so spoiled by the benefits of the federal government that they complain when other people enjoy those same benefits. You get dirt cheap heavily subsidized cheap gas but how dare someone get cheap alternative fuels 😂.

My '09 Camry just turned over 180k, still runs good, doesn't burn any oil. Not the fastest thing on the road but I'll hold onto it till I come up with the winning lotto ticket. Then I will likely search out a '19 or '20 Tundra with a V8.

Nobody knowledgeable that isn't a salesman will recommend any Mazda RX as a daily driver. Even people who love them won't recommend them as a daily driver. Unless you can do your own regular engine rebuild, Mazda RX models are just toys for the weekend.
Not really. had a 1987 sport RX-7. Rebuilding a 13B motor is a skill few have today. Oil changes are a must! The engines burn oil naturally. They also have a cold start issue. If you don't start the first time; sometimes you have the injection system flood.
Yeah, i can't recommend a rotary engine if you are going to put on a lot of miles.

When I got up and walked around the showroom so that I wouldn't snore, a sales rep found me :( However I love the '21 with the 6-speed auto even more! So quiet and the manual shift feature really rocks.
Bought my mother - in - law a new 2020 Mazda Cx-5. She had a stroke 5 months after I bought it and can't drive anymore. So now it's about to be 4 years old and has 1500 miles on it.
If the retread tires on the semi trailers were good, people steal them…. Thus in many instances the retreads on trailers are cheap.

My 2012 Honda Fit Sport was made in Japan, 105,000 miles, gets 38-40 mpg. Never had a problem, until recently, when it developed the dreaded chain rattle in the VVT. Honda dealer claims it’s normal. How disappointing, since it will grenade the engine. Now, desperately looking for an independent mechanic. Sad, since I love this car!

Replaced a clock spring once on a car and the cruise control started working again!
Paid 4k for my used 09 Camry when it had exactly 200k miles on it back in 2018. I'm very close to hitting 600k now and it still runs like new. (Full synthetic every 5k miles like clock work)
Wash & wax it every so often so, I haven't seen any paint chipping off but the color isn't as rich as before in some areas.
