That time & speed for a “heavy” car is very impressive, and I’m not even a Ford guy! I’m sure your chassis is sorted out, but that motor is making some power
Thank you, I appreciate that. I am a Ford man, but I love all cars and engines. With a 4150, makes 769, with dominator makes 775 hp. The heads flow 385 cfm at .600, close to .400 at .900. Cam is too small and not enough compression. Changes probably, be 800-825. What do you, have.
@ My brother had a 71 Chevelle- 383 SBC/auto. I forgot details but on the chassis dyno it showed 450hp on alky. Car weighed just under 3300 with him in it. Consistently ran 10:50/126mph. Running 10:50s in that “heavy” car was tough, so I KNOW low 9s on motor alone is REALLY TOUGH!
Great video love how you spanked that Camaro 😅
I enjoyed that too, it’s like I shift into high and see ya, 🏁thanks Brian.
Tim you've definitely earned the support you get. Thanks as always
Thanks Ben, appreciate You 🏁🇺🇸 trying to keep recording racing history as can.
It’s always a good day when you can go racing!
Man ain’t that the truth, right on. 🏁
Great sounding and running Cleveland powered Cougar showing an ugly Camero it's sexy 69 taillights! Great run!
Love that billkerstein, Cleveland’s run like a charging 🦏 rhino
Way cool video of that dragstrip run! Who needs a car stereo when you can listen to a motor purr like that.
💯 Mr Poppy, that’s is the only music I need, when driving at speed. 😊

What a sweet sounding ride. 🎩
Thank you, have not seen you lately, rheidtech. Hope all is well.
@DragBoss351Cleveland Hangin in there👍
Thanks Tim. I always wondered what is the best way to measure crankcase pressure and how to do it? And when is the point where you need a pump?
A manometer works well or as us diesel mechanics would the old fashion "slack-tube" method.
Vacuum line from valve cover is how I do it. I think once you’re making 700+ starts to become beneficial.
What method is that Don?
@@DragBoss351Cleveland thanks!
@rickcarmichael4661 thanks!
Thanks for the knowledge Tim. What’s the rpm through the traps?
Your welcome. Too much, 83-8400. 4.71, going to try 4.56. This spring.
Great video Tim … where can I buy that shirt you have on ?
It was sent to me from subscriber. I like it too. May make one similar Perry
