The Mac Farms Channel is based on our small family dairy farm in Nova Scotia Canada. We farm approximately 150 acres, and we milk 45-50 cows.
We run mainly Massey Ferguson tractors, our equipment lineup is as follows:
Massey Ferguson 135, 375, 4253, 3070, and 1105. Case/David Brown 885, AGCO White 6710, and Challenger MT465D.

Never got notification🙁. Nice tractor 😍. No a fan of the Chinese fronts. You will love. Keep shifter cable correctly lubed and adjusted👍🏻. I love the 365, but also love the physical shifts in the 6180🙂. I do envy the shuttle 😉
We've had good luck with the BKT's, the exact brand and style are on the back of the 3070 never had any trouble, so I think BKT has proven themselves for us anyway. We didn't know it was getting new tires until the day it left so I guess they were a bit of a bonus anyway. The console shifter is a lot nicer to use than the floor shifter in the White, which I think is the same as you're 6180? The shuttle will be nice when dad gets his snow blade on it for sure.
There a solid tractor, i run a 6290 thats got over 10 thousand hours , given verry little trouble we did a clutch at 8500 hours and sent the injectors off at the same time 1 needed rebuilt the rest were all strong.
Ours has also been turned up and puts out a strong 170 on the dyno and runs our tmr no issues
Yeah I know there is a lot of them turned up. It’s pretty similar to the White so it should be a good tractor. Always wanted a 6290 I guess this is close enough haha

You should give it a good waxing and maybe new decals for it. It will make the paint look better if it's waxed
Yeah I buffed the paint there is a pic on Instagram. It’ll be in the next video, new decals will have to wait until it’s repainted properly.
The best serie MF made in years, the should have kept that serie in production as a globel model.
She'll clean up nicely! Hoping to hear you say this was the replacement for the challenger (don't much care for them), I feel better now. haha

Yeah projects are kind of the norm here too, hopefully this doesn’t turn into a project after we put it to work lol
Nice Mac, I believe it have an Agco engine and not a Cummins like the White, sure that is a keeper on the farm, is it a six cylinder
These had the 6.0 Perkins 6 cyl in them.

110, it would be pretty comparable to the 5250 I would think.
@@macfarms 5140/5240 are 108hp from factory. 5250 is around 125hp. There, now I have passed on some useless information LOL
@@dehavenfamilyfarm is that engine hp or PTO? The 6280 is 110 PTO I’m not sure what engine hp. White is 120 engine 95 PTO
Great awesome video Scott , nice Massey , great editing, buff that paint I think it will come back , and new decals too , what’s the hp on that tractor I forget what it is at new ?
110 at the PTO, it would probably come back half decent with a buff but it’ll be repainted and definitely new decals, there is a little bit of rust and a couple dents to repair on the panels anyway, and the rear fenders will have to be painted anyway.

Nebraska tests show the Cummins lugs better and has about the same torque despite the 15 or so HP the 6280 has on it, so we should see how they compare it will be interesting!
