We visited the Craters of the Moon in Idaho a few years back while on a long road trip in the Jeep a couple of years back. Beautiful scenery. Nice tent... Now for that new baby. Take care..

I'm sure you already thought of this Max, but have you thought about putting the camper shell on the taco bed and use that for lil guys sleep? and store all your other gear that's in taco bed in the trailer? This would make the trailer/shell more aerodynamic along w/the taco? and get a bed rack for the trailer so you still can use your bad ass tent on top of the trailer and it wouldn't be so high? Just a thought and like I said you probably already thought of this? But you have an awesome set up either way man!! And even better family to top it off!
You got my trailer.. I got 35x12.5x17 on mine pulled by H2.. So funny i just moved from central oregon i lived just down the road in lapine.. That is a super cold place most of the year.. You got to go check out summit lake just above cresant lake.. 6 miles on dirt you end up on old military wagon trail.. Pulled my trailer all the way to the top... Bend area sux ass in reality i lived there for 6 years till recently im back in southern oregon much nicer..

Okay, gotta ask. What tire diameter are you running, what gear ratio and how bad did the trailer/tent setup tear into your mileage? So glad you made this video, I almost ordered a tent last week for the taco, but I really like the idea of just being able to unhook a trailer to drive without being top heavy. Great videos btw, I always feel like I'm on a very tiny, mini vacation by proxy. TIA 😁
If you can get a Dremel tool with a cut off wheel on the nut, you can cut it at an angle on one of the faces, and then split it with a chisel. Or just cut both sides and knock it in half
Max, what are you using to Video Edit? Wish my videos turned out like yours high quality high def. About rolling on top of the baby. Me and the wife was scared at first to have our newborn in the bed with us. But that's the only way he would go to sleep. Our son is going to turn 2yo in August. And he still sleeps with us. I honestly love it for the fact he likes to cuddle. Anyway once again love the setup broski.

Fun fact, the water park cost 29 million, but you probably didn't notice the roads here are awful.. i mean third world country awful... lol. Many of the residents that opposed the water park were pretty upset the roads were not repaired... but i guess tourism $$$ is top priority.

@2:45 it looked like your trailer's drivers side shock is just dangling there as you pulled out.
