Oh, that is so amazing! Can't even tell you how much it means to hear that! Give him a big high five from me and I'll do my best to get back out to Moab.
Fantastic,I used to buy a LED light bar in 4wdking-Amazon.com,which is much brighter, and great performance amzn.to/2kVt7Jm ,share with us enthusiasts. Go off-road trip!
Ive been in the market for a new car, and after looking at everything out there, my 21 yr old son said "mom if you could have any vehicle you wanted what would it be?" Without any hesitation i said "a Wrangler, then I'd drive every dirt road I could find" So tomorrow I pick up my first ever Wrangler from the dealership!
Motor trend needs to give you your own Jeep show! The content and the quality of these personal videos are amazing. You bring something special to the screen ever time you upload. Keep it up! 🚙
I've watched thousands & thousands of youtube videos & I catch myself rewatching this video all the time. It was this video in particular that made me buy my jeep. Love your vids my man!
Me too, its been a bucket list item for me for years. My trip, since I live on the east coast, will be to drive all the way up to maine with my sons. Hitting some dirt along the way as well as camping.
mcpheonixx where on the east coast. I'm in Massachusetts and love heading up to the New Hampshire/Canadian border and on up to Maine. Lots of good trails I know if you want a little knowledge from a local.
I have been actively working to get back into a Jeep and was able to do so this weekend! This video reminded me why I loved it so much. I have watched it at least 3 times so far
@9:35 BEST DECISION EVER!!! I live for those kinds of opportunities... and yes... you need at least two flood pods and two spot pods... but good on ya for not backing out!
just started your video and already love it!!! i remember as a kid my family driving from upstate ny to California, twice. ill never forget it! this video makes me want to road trip off the beaten trail again!
Yes, if you’re going to go past a locked gate, you’re better off cutting the lock or chain and leaving it open. That way you can say it was open. Get caught chopping a lock and that fine will get your attention.
nice road trip. you should try to make some google earth or GPS overlay (KML files) of some of the trails you took. I live off the 395 and am always looking for new places to jeep.
What an awesome video! You need your own show hands down. Much rather watch the red woods and how beautiful our country is over a lot of the garbage on the air today. I can't wait to get my hands on a JK one day soon! Thanks for the inspiration!
Well, AWESOME to hear!!! Thank you both for watching my silliness. You are a rad parent for sharing time like that with your kid so please give her a high five from me! I'd give you one to but we're on the internets... lol
Great work Jason; I’ve now watched all of your Jeep and Truck videos (and several of the Mustang’s) and these are my favorite from the Dirt Every Day and Roadkill family. Terrific balance of entertainment and education. The inspiration is much appreciated. -Matthew (‘04 TJ, ‘16 JKU, ‘63 Chevy C10 big window long bed hot rod project, ‘11 Volvo C30Rdesign; 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks)
I love all your videos, I definitely think putting your dog in the passenger seat would make for a great episode. What exhaust system are you running, it sounds amazing.
Great video! I live just down the road from you. I love watching your channel. Power stop brakes will be on all my vehicles from now on. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and upload all your videos.
I recently found your channel and have been binge watching your JK build up videos with awe. Your ability to entertain and explain what you're doing is wonderful. Your camera work is phenomenal. Who knew all that was going on under the jeep! But this last video was a wonderful culmination of all you have done to that beast of a machine. I was smiling the whole time. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Now onto the next video!
Catherine, I just want to say thank you so much for the amazing words of support! It means the world to me that my little videos can entertain and inspire people. I hope you can stick around for more and can keep in touch!!!
Great video! I've traveled the same hwy routes, but had not ventured off like you did. I'm making plans now for some off roading fun like you demonstrated. Thank you sir!. (2008 Rubicon, 2Dr,Black)
The 37's are great... no complaints but they require a lot more work to fit and will wear out other parts quicker so I would recommend 35's for most people.
What parts are wearing out? I just traded in my Sunset Orange, 2015 JKU Rubicon Hardrock, stock for Black, 2017 JKU Rubicon, 37” tires with 4” Rubicon Express Skyjacker lift. I’ve added PS Crusher Flares, and PS Brawler Lite Bumper and PSC Rear bumper. I love your video and Deschutes!!!
LOL, it's the internet and you can never make everyone happy here... that's why I appreciate the people like you who just like it or move on... so Thanks!
I just got a 2017 rubi 2 months back and your videos have gotten me sooooo pumped up to start customizing mine! I really enjoyed your vids and look forward to future updates with your Jeep. Keep on wheeling!
Absolutely awesome road trip! Your videos have inspired me to go buy a jeep and I've don't just that. A couple weeks ago I became the proud owner of a 2017 Willys JK in Rhino CC, my favorite color. Planning on doing a 3.5inch lift with 35s and go on a road expedition out to Colorado in the fall. In this video you have encompassed what it is to live the Jeep life. Keep up the great work and much Love from Texas!!
Outstanding and inspirational video! Reminds me of the week long trip I took on my Triumph from South Jersey to Bar Harbor Maine and back. I avoided the massive roads the whole time till a Nor'easter rolled in on the last day and had to take the highway for the last 6 hours in the rain, on a motorcycle, lol.... Still it was the best trip of my life and I hope to do more someday in my Jeep.
I just bought me 2015 Unlimited Sport and I can’t wait to start my upgrades. I’m a long haul truck driver and I think that’s why I’m so ready to get my Jeep upgraded so I can hit the dirt since I see so much asphalt. Love your vids
Keep up the adventure vids my man. I’ve watched all of your Jeep vids since I got my own black ‘12 JKUR this past year and have begun making my way into the Jeep lifestyle just like you did. You have inspired me on new levels to get out and enjoy what we have before us, wherever we may be, and that even when we have limited time on our hands we can make it work for the best - for the sake of the experience, the knowledge and the Journey. I was just recently in Bridgeport, CA for some military training right after I got my JKUR and I was wishing I had it with me the whole time! That surprised me that you were right there on that highway through the lakes where I was as well. I am from North Alabama and it was the first time I’ve traveled to Cali/Nevada. Beautiful country out your way. You’re lucky to live so close to such cool places like that to off-road. You’re a rad dude Jason, I hope you continue to make more of these Jeep adventure vids that inspire me to get out and do so much. Thank you man.
Man what an amazing trip that must have been. I did something similar in a Kia soul a long time ago and I remember thinking wow I wish I had a jeep. Now I own said jeep but unfortunately I no longer live in the west coast. Your videos inspire me to move back and try again with the right gear rig and set up. Keep up the good work man. Your videos are simply amazing. Would love to meet ya in the trails one day
I love this! I'm only 16 but hopefully I can get a job soon and buy my own fixer upper Jeep CJ7. This is exactly what I envision when I think about a Jeep. The perfect truck for both city and off-roading.
Hello. I am very happy to find this video after the road trip I just did. I too took my black Jeep out for miles from Florida to Montreal Canada and back again. It took me two weeks because I faced my driving phobia (still have it) and only drive during the day. I too came across a closed road and also had to turn around because the bridge was out due to flooding in GA. I did some mild off roading, drove through some puddles and caught nasty rain on the way back in Florida. Also felt good in the rain but the wind. The wind in a Jeep is very scary. Was very scared on some mountain roads with wind but kept it slow and made it through in VA. Montreal had horrible traffic. It sucked but was glad to meet friends and family along the way. I would definitely do it again in the future. I could relate so much to your video. I hope to upgrade my tires once I save up and am also looking for some BFGoodrich but the All Terrain ones. You saw some beautiful things and again I totally know what it was like for you as I did the east coast version of this. I'm still trying to figure out how to piece all my gopro footage into an interesting video.
I love the longer videos! Your the reason I'm getting rid of my 2015 300c lol. When I find the right JK I'll be road tripping like a mad man....me and my pit bull Atticus that is. Keep up the good work.
Loved the video. Nice to see you out enjoying your rig. I live in the Puyallup area. Next time when your here you should hit up some of our great trails. Lots of beautiful places to see and drive by Mt. Raineer. Keep up the great videos. Love your channel.
I am planning to buy one soon.... and you my friend... have really motivated me on how to go about it do it yourself..... i love your jeep and guiding ways since its not too extreme....the only thing i had always though you had missed out are the light bars.....and yess.... we love the long videos...bring them on.....
Awesome video Jason, what an epic journey. Hitting the road myself across Australia to from Brisbane to Alice Springs in January in my modified JKU Sport. Keep wheelin bud.
Watching this makes me want to try and do this the next time I visit my family. Going from Austin, TX to St Ignace, MI staying off of the interstates would be fun.
I really enjoy your Jeep videos, Jason. What I like is you're not a "know it all" "I think I'm cool" kind of guy. You're just a regular guy like me who wants to enjoy your a hobby after the work week is done, relieve stress. Even if you think to yourself "they prob won't like this video, it's probably boring".........just do it! I don't understand how someone could hit the thumbs down button. If it's not your cup of tea then keep on truck'n. Anyways I also wanted to say that the Jeep headlights and fog lights suck when out in the pitch dark, especially when it's raining hard. I bought Pro Comp cubes and set them on the pillar...........bad idea. When I'm on a dirt road that curves to the left, it's hard to see what's on your drivers side because of the brightness of the glare and the new blind spot the cubes make for you. Just keep that in mind when you buy your much needed off road lights. Have a good one (O|||||||O)
Enjoyed your video, my seven year old son is a big fan of your videos. 😃
Do one on Moab!
Oh, that is so amazing! Can't even tell you how much it means to hear that! Give him a big high five from me and I'll do my best to get back out to Moab.
Great

LilyRose thats awesome how are you liking it?
LilyRose Congratulations,,,How are you liking your Wrangler
Motor trend needs to give you your own Jeep show! The content and the quality of these personal videos are amazing. You bring something special to the screen ever time you upload. Keep it up! 🚙
Well thanks! I think it's because I have the looks for a good radio host and the voice for silent movies...lol
Vince Terrazas even just for him to be on a episode of ded would be cool.
I disagree. Youd have an awesome tv show. Maybe a wheeler dealer style, find off road projects and fix em up and wheel em at some cool spots
Your JK has really helped change my opinion on JKUs. I love the entire build. Another excellent video!
WOOHOO! Thanks!
I've watched thousands & thousands of youtube videos & I catch myself rewatching this video all the time. It was this video in particular that made me buy my jeep. Love your vids my man!
I can't tell you how happy this makes me! Thanks so much for sharing!!!
I love the install videos, but this has to be my favorite jeep video you have made so far! Please do more off-roading videos. Keep up the great work!
This is exactly what I love to hear, thanks so much for watching and taking a minute to let me know! Much appreciated!!!
I absolutely agree! Keep on Jeepin'!!! OIIIIIIIO
I come back to this video all the time. Everything about the video, the concept, the journey and most importantly the location!
You may have just inspired me to get out and do this trip again with the Jeep and it's new suspension! Thanks for that!
@@AutoEdits Hell yeah! Good luck Jason, I hope to link up someday. For now I'll enjoy the content! 😎
This is what I want to do with my Jeep. I want to do a long road trip for a week or so and do a little off road dirt along the way.

AWESOME!!! Jeep Wave
Great Ride! Thanks for taking us with you!!
Keep the film rolling!!!
All Right!
"That is why we do this." Exactly! Great video. Thanks for posting.
Thank you !
@9:35 BEST DECISION EVER!!! I live for those kinds of opportunities... and yes... you need at least two flood pods and two spot pods... but good on ya for not backing out!
You got that right! If I had the lights I have now and the skid plates... would've driving down that drop off and continued!

Love that!! doing it for for the sake of doing it! haven't said that since college!
This video was amazing! The road trip, the natural scenery, and the jeep. Perfect
Thanks so much for watching and taking a moment to say something nice here!!! You rock!
Dude! Love the video. I'm always the road less traveled guy. I want to go see my family in Colorado, you inspired me to take roads less traveled.
Love hearing this... Thank you!
I loved every minute! I grew up in Northern California so it was great to see those sites again.
Cool to hear, thanks
Cant get over how i can sit and watch a 30 minute video while being entertained for every second of it. More of these! I love it!
Thank you , thank you , thank you
I was just thinking the same thing!!
Awesome video...I drove from Oregon to sparks Nv in my 2014 rubicon and did all the forest route as well, and it was amazing. Best drive in the jeep.
"I'm in sparks or reno i don't know" no truer words ever spoken!! Lived in sparks for 20 years and I still don't know where sparks and reno end!!
This is funny!
Going around a road closure sign can cost you $258.00. Ask me how I know.
Yikes!
But if you're off the road and pass that sign without seeing it....
well you got me there
Yes, if you’re going to go past a locked gate, you’re better off cutting the lock or chain and leaving it open. That way you can say it was open. Get caught chopping a lock and that fine will get your attention.
alan jackson how?
WOW, I really liked this video. Everything was great, from the tunes, the scenery, even the commentary. Great work. Thanks for sharing.
Well thank you very much!!!
nice road trip. you should try to make some google earth or GPS overlay (KML files) of some of the trails you took.
Awesome filming and editing! Giving Dirt Everyday a serious run for the money!
Great video. My daughter and I enjoyed watching your Jeep in action!
Well, AWESOME to hear!!! Thank you both for watching my silliness. You are a rad parent for sharing time like that with your kid so please give her a high five from me! I'd give you one to but we're on the internets... lol

Great video! I live just down the road from you. I love watching your channel. Power stop brakes will be on all my vehicles from now on. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and upload all your videos.

I know, I know... next trip she is coming along for sure!
autoedit Bad...bad human!
car sounds loud probably not ideal for the dogs ears if not plugged or muffed. adventure seems lame for what you built
Great video! I've traveled the same hwy routes, but had not ventured off like you did. I'm making plans now for some off roading fun like you demonstrated. Thank you sir!. (2008 Rubicon, 2Dr,Black)
Great to hear from you and I hope you have awesome adventures!
Thanks so much for watching!!!
How are the 37's on the road? I'm arguing with myself whether to do 35's or 37's....
Definitely do more videos like this. Since I can't seem to get my JK dirty at the moment, at least I can get my fix watching your great videos.
Awesome. Did you measure your mileage the whole way?
I sure did, it ended up just over 2700 miles for the round trip and the Jeep averaged 16.1 MPG overall.
Not too bad with those 37's
tonepaw air pressure more than likely
tonepaw what size rim do u have width wise
tonepaw probably 30-33
Loved this video, didn’t think I’d watch all of it but I was sucked in the whole time! Keep
It up!
Awesome to hear this... thanks so much!
you still running 4.10's?
That was great entertainment at its finest. Thanks for yet another stellar video.
10 peoples dislike this video. They rides BMW X1/2/3/4/5/6 ;P
LOL, it's the internet and you can never make everyone happy here... that's why I appreciate the people like you who just like it or move on... so Thanks!
I just started watching these videos last week when I picked up my 2014 JKUR. Great videos! Keep 'em coming please.
Awesome! Welcome to the channel and the Jeep life... hold on it's gonna get bumpy... lol... and expensive
I live in Grants Pass..that way to the coast is beautiful everytime I drive thru!
I just got a 2017 rubi 2 months back and your videos have gotten me sooooo pumped up to start customizing mine! I really enjoyed your vids and look forward to future updates with your Jeep. Keep on wheeling!
I'm so glad you didn't chicken out when you hit the road closed sign! Outlaw jeeping is so fun (as long as you're not damaging anything)
Agreed!
I love Tahoe! Such a beautiful place!
So much envy and appreciation from Australia. Keep it up. Almost nearing completion of my build. Inspire by your build
Absolutely awesome road trip! Your videos have inspired me to go buy a jeep and I've don't just that. A couple weeks ago I became the proud owner of a 2017 Willys JK in Rhino CC, my favorite color. Great video adventure, perfect way to get out there and enjoy all the cool mods you have added to your Rubicon. Keep them coming :-)
I just bought me 2015 Unlimited Sport and I can’t wait to start my upgrades. I’m a long haul truck driver and I think that’s why I’m so ready to get my Jeep upgraded so I can hit the dirt since I see so much asphalt. Love your vids
Yes, the dirt therapy is good for the soul! Welcome to the channel and thanks for the comment!
Good video. Best Lightbar commercial I've ever seen.
Thanks! I see what you did there... and it is hilarious!

Absolutly amazing video! Cameras everywhere! LOL! Loved every second. And your Jeep is down right beautiful! Do a camping vid and bring the dog!
I love this! I'm only 16 but hopefully I can get a job soon and buy my own fixer upper Jeep CJ7. This is exactly what I envision when I think about a Jeep. The perfect truck for both city and off-roading.
Great video. We are changing our upcoming route to run along the Oregon coast based on your video of the redwoods. Absolutely beautiful.
Awesome video! Thanks for taking the time to put together such great content.
Thank you so much for watching!
Road Closed signs are basically HOV lanes for Jeeps. You made the right call.
HA! Thanks!
20 seconds into the vid (first time watching this channel) and..... smashed the like button! I know I'll enjoy this video.
Cool, thanks so much!
Awesome video! I totally enjoy watching you build your JKU. Keep up with more awesome videos.

This is a man who has found his passion in life 🤗
Thanks for this... I do love a good road trip!
I love the longer videos! Your the reason I'm getting rid of my 2015 300c lol. When I find the right JK I'll be road tripping like a mad man....me and my pit bull Atticus that is. Keep up the good work.
Looks like you had a great adventure, nothing but your thoughts!! Thank you for sharing!!👍
I wish the east coast was just as good for trails like this! Awesome vid!

Really enjoyed the video. Loved the format and the scenery. Keep doing your thing - it's working.
Thanks so much!
Totally awesome!!! The next time I go to California from Washington I'm taking the 395.
I don't even like jeeps or off-roading but find myself watching all your jeep videos
Why thanks so much... I'm glad you enjoy them and took a minute to say so!
Great video! You're one my favourite Jeep-related youtubers. I wish you uploaded more!
That was AWESOME!! Would love to see more like that...
Watching this makes me want to try and do this the next time I visit my family. Going from Austin, TX to St Ignace, MI staying off of the interstates would be fun.
Cool! Or at least stay off the highway for just a bit of the trip or even pick one detour... every little bit makes it unique!
Great video! Looking forward to the lights upgrades!
Thanks for all of that input! Really glad to hear it. You have a great one as well!
awesome video! do love the trips and longer videos with more content! let the adventure begin...
Yeah! Thanks... I'll do more
