Hello, just got one today. So far still found it tough to drift like 1: 28 scale.... You have some drifting at the beginning and end of this video, wondering if you made any toe in/out mod to drift like that? Or it was from stock out of the box.
@@Savoke on the second day, after i do the toe out mod, and wipe some oil on the surface and clean..make it super smooth. I was able to many control donuts. See this. th-cam.com/video/Co353MY8mdM/w-d-xo.html
Do the front wheel assemblies come apart for full cleaning? My front axles keep getting clogged with hair and fibers and it completely tanks the car's performance, but I can't seem to take the front wheels apart to fully get all the hair out.
@@louissenn9897 nah, I never found a solution. I tried using tiny tweezers to grab as much hair as I could, but I could only get like 20% of it, most was trapped deep inside the wheel I ended up returning them for a refund and getting the Sniclo Q25 instead, which does not have dissasemblable wheels either but for whatever reason I am able to fully tweeze all the hair out, maybe there is more room and "play" between the moving parts compared to the C64 they don't drift obviously and the handling and proportions are worse, but the FPV cam is super cool and most importantly, their wheels don't get gummed up and ruin the car
@@mikesmith42069 Yeah. And it happens pretty fast. We have a cat and even after I vacuumed the living room I couldn't drive a whole car battery. Front wheels jammed after 4minutes and car started to jump because the front wheels were blocked.

@@rcnewstone6963i tried doing it with the screw driver it came with, but instead the end of the screw driver was chipped of.. how do i take it off now?
Mine arrived yesterday, i played with it for an hour then went to bed, next morning i woke up played with it a bit then it suddenly turned off, took the frame out and found out that the powerline was cut off. I literally didnt even have more than 1 hour of playtime, spent 100 bucks on this. Very disappointed

How good are you now? ive already got some pretty good drifts just adjusting the settings stock.

you can get that kind of drifting performance out of the box after fine tuning both the gyro and steering sensitivity knobs on the controller

it's a real shame too because these were so fun. if they ever fix the wheel hair issue I'd buy one again in a heartbeat
