- The Ohio State University Marching Band, TBDBITL, The Best Damn Band In The Land at the Ohio State vs. Alabama Championship Semi-final NCAA Football game at the Sugar Bowl January 1, 2015. This video shows the last play of the game, an interception in the end zone by the Buckeyes and run back, followed by The Band performing Hang on Sloopy, Buckeye Swag, the Buckeye Battle Cry, Campus Chimes and Carmen Ohio with the football team, and Buckeye Battle Cry, again. Lots of crowd reaction and a rapid exodus of Alabama fans toward the exits. The crowd was probably 3/4 Alabama fans.

Ha I love the delayed reaction... The far end of the stadium started cheering and it was like a wave.
Beating Alabama in my opinion was more satisfying than beating Oregon in the National Championship
Well its easier to get sick of hearing about the SEC than it is the Pac12.
I mean yea, USC has given OSU problems in recent years, but 2 of 3 of those games USC was cheating, so scratch those. Then the 3rd one USC barely got 1 score against Ohio State.
But as far as Oregon goes, they've played Ohio State 9 times, and lost all 9, so it's probably tough for OSU fans to hold a grudge against them.
It's probably easier, if you're an Ohio State fan, to have a grudge against Clemson (0-4), Fla St (0-3), Florida (0-2) or in this case, Alabama who, at the time, OSU was 0-3 against, obviously snapping that to 1-3.
Then never mind the teams above, ya get tired of hearing about the SEC. So, you don't like the talk? Beat 'em. And that's what they did.
And i will say that I've had pleasant experiences with Ore fans. (I'm a PoleCat fan, for a point of reference here).

Lifelong Buckeyes fan here, since 1977... when Bama beat us 35-6, if I remember correctly.
