3:10 definitely not a hot take, on budget phones a single *good* camera is infinitely better. It's crazy how budget phones waste money putting 1-2 completely useless cameras on something that's already very stretched on budget.
Even my s21 has 2 useless cameras. If i take 50mp pics they are the same as 10mp 3x zoom. And my wide angel is probably broken but never was really good...
@@serrael-182 I find the wide-angle to be nice for filming car videos, or other action content, but that's really only something you should add once you've already gotten a very good main camera (like the S21 already has). So find the addition of that to at least be justifiable. On something like the Zenfone 10 it's very obvious that it doesn't really need a telephoto as the main camera already does a good job of zooming in, you should really only be adding that on $800+ phones like the S24 Ultra-series where you're already pinching at straws trying to extract more camera performance than you already have. Definitely agree with you on it being a waste putting that in the S21. 5G drains battery faster on A55 as well. Especially in areas where 5G might be weak/intermittent. It puts the standby drain up too. Whereas on 4G mode the phone holds a nice strong clean signal. I am going to buy a new phone in 2 weeks and I am going to get an A55 as for me it looks a lot better than the Pixel 8a and as for one handed use...I also don't use my phone one handed very often and it isn't in my hand 24/7 which is something that I find kind of sad with society today.
The same thing that I also feels
My old A52s 5G is much better than my Pixel 8a for one handed use, so I can not see the A55 being worse. Just the navigation arrow is on the left on google.. so you have to reach it with your thumb, and you can feel that in your hand after a day of use, while I never had that problem on the A52s since its easy to reach.
I prefer the pixel don’t really like Samsung so instead of saying this is better or that is better just buy what you like
I bought A55 for my dad, It has a trash finger sensor. Using pin now. Reviewers please test this too. Im disappointed the phone it has moods when it will recognise properly. i think they are using bad quality sensors.
Are u using a screen protector? It's usually the cause of poor fingerprint sensor quality, either increase touch sensitivity or get a thinner one.
Hello :) what happened to your hair? Accident? 😱
I think a55 heated less because of large form factor
Not only that but it has better heat management, better cooling system and quality materials that dissipate heat better
@@Crabby.1 we would get better idea if he would compared 8 pro with a55 😅
@sachinp8847 8 pro isn't that different than 8a .
@@Crabby.1 pro is bigger that's why
@@sachinp8847 but it has the same processor. A bigger phone doesn't mean better heat management
my experience with samsung budget devices is not great at all. I have tab s7 fe for two years now. It is really laggy and can't use split screen at all now and I'm not sure about a55 peformance in the long run. But pixel always gives a smoother experience. my friend has a pixel6 and i never seen it lagging.
@Divyanshu0425 Yeah my tablet also worked really smoothly but now it almost unusable😑. Now I only trust their flagship products. Two years not enough for 500USD at least 4. Maybe a55 will perform better I dunno it's just my experience with samsung's midrage stuff is not great.
FE series from Samsung is real beast and it's budget friendly too. Almost true flagship.@@dulinanadil2150
Chicken paradise is the keyword for me from this video 😂.
Sony Xperia 10 VI looks to be a good option, too. Better battery than both of these, more compact, and I think better photos than the Samsung. I think Pixel is the best at photos in the mid-range segment, although it is at the high end of midranges in terms of price.
snapdragon 6 gen 1 is so pathetic tho
@@3mar00ss6 nah, it's totally fine for this type of phone. You don't buy this phone for gaming. Battery life is more important.
@@diegocabrejas6059 no the 6 gen 1 wouldn't be able to run anything smoothly, discord is 1 hard app to run for example I think even TH-cam would have a few stutters here and there on the 6gen1 but I'm telling you discord would be lagging
+ the screen is 60hz
+ the software support is lacking
@@diegocabrejas6059 It's not just gaming, 6gen1 struggles to run anything, even basic apps.
@@3mar00ss6 Okay, let's bust these myths once and for all:
> Software support is lacking - here are some phones that compete with the Xperia one that have the same or just slight better software support:
Nothing Phone 2a (same as xperia)
Motorola Edge (same as xperia)
Xiaomi 14 and Poco X6 (same as xperia)
Galaxy A55 (only one year more than the Xperia)
So it is not "lacking". In fact it is pretty much in line with its competitors. The only one going much further is Google and that's because they have huge pockets. And I would be surprised if anyone is using a phone after 4 years, but that's what you get. The battery would be very bad after 4 years, no matter the phone.
> The screen is 60Hz - This is the same refresh rate that the IPhone 15 uses, which starts at $800. This is a Sony midranger and somehow it is a problem that it has 60Hz? That is absolutely ridiculous.
> TH-cam would have stutters? That's just made-up non-sense. I have the Xperia 10 III which has a 695 processor which is worse than the 6 gen 1. Not once have I had youtube stutter in my 2 years of use and I open youtube daily. So stop spreading nonsense.
There's no camera comparison here.
S23 FE is miles better and it's cheaper than both a55 and 8a in my country. Steal deal.
Persian bro???
Pixel is better than any other camera like iphone n Samsung
No S24 rips iPhone and 8a
Good test
How I wish they the same price where I live.
No doubt the galaxy a55 is much better than pixel💀
Compare it with s23 fe
Google pixel 8a or samsung s23
8a for the camera, S23 for everything else IMHO
@@techmo2020 hmm, my priority is camera and storage, iam getting 8a 128gb at same value as s23 256gb but s23 128gb varient at less value so what do u think 😅
Im a scientist too
OMG you have a cute dog 🐶
Compare 8a vs Galaxy S23 Fe
23Fe is better. You are welcome.
@@Raxio_ional Yess 💪🏻💪🏻
This isn’t a budget phone at price ppl
Compared to a £1000+ phone they are . Most decent budget phones are around or over £300 now
U deserve a million subscribers I subscribed but u got a long way to go appreciate your videos but you are kinda bias pixel camera is unmatched that's it screen 120 hrz goes to a55 I have had pixel 6. 6a 7 and 7a I had galaxy s24 to small s24 will be will destroy pixel 8a
وأنا ايضا اتمنى ذلك 😅 4:17
you should have done the a35 vs the 8a
Only the a35 is available in the US
he isn't in the USA and prices are closer with a55 to 8a not a35.
Its funny how you ask followers to chose what video you should do and you do what you want anyway 😂
What? I'm doing what they say haha Pixel 8 vs S24 is on the way for next week, but since 8a just came out and got the second vote I did it first.
@@techmo2020 Pls compare S24+ Exynos 2400 vs A55,battery test and temperature!
@@techmo2020 as the other person in this thread said pls do s24 plus exynos vs a55 pls that would be very helpful
@@jashpancholi4996 I need to buy the S24+ again since I sold the last one, I am thinking about it, I may create such a video in the future :)
whats the big deal about being naked?.. great video
8a is tooo good
and too hot
I wouldn't get a Samsung over a Pixel at this point, especially not in the "budget" department.
As long as samsung keeps using exynos, I'll never touch the A series again
Pixel phones is also using exynos
@@SuperSovoy no wonder they're bad lol
@@hughw2377 still much better than the a55

Do you see that 2:55hahahaha very useless 😅 🤣 still samsung for me
Why a55 .....pixel 8a vs s23 fe
Agree, a55 is $350 now. And reguler person will get pixel 8a at msrp $499 which is similiar price with s23fe
Pixel is shit I’ll rather buy huawei
Pixel is trash
No need conparing. Even pixel 1 would beat samsung s24u lol.
