I had the s23 ultra and i had to give it back, 9x out of 10 none of my photos or videos looked remotely close to natural colours i see with my eyes, i turned off settings that was recommended in samsung forums but it still was garbage, yeah they had good video quality and camera quality i just hated samsungs post processing colour science. Photos looked better before in my opinion I did in fact get the 8 pro and prefer it. Point and shoot it is a beast
I personally preferred the still images produced by the 8a., although i did like the Samsung images. You're right about the shadows on pixels though, be nice if they could tone this down a tad . Samsung s24u produced great videos
In practical terms, shooting at the usual 12mp setting, there probably won't be much difference in most real-life situations until you get to x3 (67mm) . From there onwards the difference will be night and day. If you don't do much shooting beyond x3 , you're probably better off with the budget phone camera. I shoot most of my portraits between x3 and x5 (111mm) so the 8A won't be of much use to me.
Samsung always has a punchy look but yet so flat and washed out. Gives it a cinematic ungraded look. I like it. The pixel always has the more contrasty saturated HDR look
Very helpful video. I was under the impression that Samsung would be more inclined to over process their captures. I think this is enough to change my mind about ever getting a pixel. Not a fan of that artifical and crushed image.
Pixel always and always doing the same thing Disrupting face tune, increasing contrast level, in simple just destroy natural look. I don't understand how developers prioritize pixel camera.
Enjoy everyone!! Tried a few new things with the bubble face cam, let me know if you enjoyed it :)
There's a green tint in the shadows behind you in the S24 front camera. The pixel 8a did better there.
And i thought i was the only one who noticed this😂

Love it❤
The 8a is a great buy.

Great video, sometimes it's nice to just sit back and watch a comparison instead of making one :D 8a is punching above its weight.
Hahaha glad you enjoyed man
wow . I watch techmo's Pixel review too 🙀
Do you have a video on best edit apps?
S23 at 500$ is the worlds best flagship killer currently ❤❤
Great reviewer.... Love from Bangladesh
you should compare S24 FE VS 8A [same prices]
And
S24U VS Pixel 9 Pro XL [ coming in oct soon ]

I prefer the studio camera. Pixel 8A video skin tones are way too smoothed and plasticky

Agreed
8a more dramatic and i like
Nice details sir
Wow man, that’s actually an amazing video. I’m in the market to buy the s24u but im getting very hesitant coz it doesn’t convince me
Thanks I’m glad you liked it :)
Wow the difference in audio😮😂
👀👀
I mean that’s what you should expect from a budget Google phone isn’t it as far as the camera quality difference

S24 ultra costs more than 8a does. So, 8a is almost there to give competition in cam department.
Agreed - that's why the comparison is interesting I think. Best of the best and what you get for under half the price
I would like to buy 3 pixels than 1 ultra😎
Haha this is fair
Still picture pixel is better
Biggest Difference Price
When are you reviewing a vivo device ?
I can’t get them in the UK :(
TEAMSAMSUNG
Google imagine processing is just soild, it shows when you put GCam on other devices and dial it it in to truely leverage the hardware.
I'm so glad with my s24U 😁
Pixel 8A clear winner. Still need to drag the clarity down.
S24U is the clear winner.
Both phn camera are better
