    These are great wee tents and if you don't have any grass in garden and it's paved you can pitch it on slabs/patio without pegs as long as it's not windy!👍⛺

    I bought one of these. I think mine was made on a Friday afternoon
    when the seamstress was thinking about the weekend. The window was
    sewn on upside down - seam at the bottom, velcro at the top. I found
    out on my maiden voyage with it, kayaking down the Brisbane river in a
    torrential storm. You can guess what happens in a storm when the
    velcro opening of your window is at the top......

    I just bought this generic model from the warehouse, it used to be just $16 around 8 years ago, now the greedy warehouse people are charging $34-40!!! Perhaps it's due to results of covid, but still...

    Used this on North West Island Queensland for 8 days last month. Length was a tad short for me (Am 1.7m tall) - my head/feet would touch the ends...But survived a 14 hr non-stop drizzle with high winds and another 3 hr total rainstorm (flooded the campsite) without a drop of water entering. Not sure how Anko/K-mart does this for just $14......

    • @whats0my0agenda
      @whats0my0agenda ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not even worth $14, they buy them for around $3 each, the cost to make one is around 20 cents.
      Good for a cheap tent short term though.

    Epic failure mate because there’s no full sized insect screen therefore it’s going to be a hot oven despite those other ventilation openings.

      Lucky I took a small 2x2 tarp as well and was able to rig it above the tent, my partner found it hilarious me running around nude tying a tarp up so I didn’t get my only dry clothes wet. But it gave me a story I will never forget :)
