I found your channel when I bought a 2$ (USD) oyster plant and sought out care tips. I followed your advice last year and the thing has pushed out so many offsets. I never expected it to be such a sturdy plant.

Lyn I took 2 cuttings of an aloe variegata in 2014. Those bad boys did not root and start to grow till over a year later. I hope you read my comment because I wanted you to know that it takes those plants forever it seems to root and start to grow again! So when you plant up the babies I'm hoping it doesn't take that long but seriously it took quite a long time for mine!

Hi there :-D you don't have to use rooting powder, and Aloe will root easily anyway especially at this time of year ( Summer ) thanks so much for watching and have a fantastic day today XXXX
Hi Shannon :-D yes pure Cinnamon powder works really well as an anti fungal remedy, you can buy it from most grocery stores and health food stores, I actually prefer to use pure cinnamon powder now instead of the sulphur powder as its 100% safe and natural and easy to get, thanks so much for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a terrific Thursday XXXX

Noooooooo! :( :( I was so hoping your main aloe would pull through. Ah, well. At least there's pups. Your instructions helped me with a similar situation with my ancient aloe, but it has been PAINFULLY slow to grow roots. Should I try a rooting hormone, or leave it alone I wonder? Best wishes from Colorado, L.
It may be best to try a rooting hormone to help it along :-) thanks so much for your wonderful comment and for watching and sending you tons of love and heaps of happiness and oodles of PLANT POWER from right across the Emerald Isle and have an INCREDIBLE Tuesday today XXXXX
Hi Lyn!! I have yet another question! 😂 I have noticed that you plant lots of seeds, and I was wondering where do you get them, also could you possibly do another video on how you identify cacti? Thanks Lyn lotsa love and tonnes of happiness from Newcastle!!😃
