I can't pick a favorite point in the video! I enjoyed everything from helping pick the color card, learning how to color glass, to chatting w/the wonderful community! You're my absolute favorite. I always rewatch your videos bc I feel like I miss something or that I can get a better grasp. Love love love you! Can't wait for the video later this week!
I absolutely love the bird house from your sneak peak!!! It is lovely. I'm obsessed with country architecture, forest, and fairy type things. Thank you so much for sharing an early preview.
I really enjoyed this video. I liked watching your process for picking colors for the palette and learning new techniques like coloring glowing bottles. Thank you!
I loved the live stream! I've been coloring since I was a child but only recently have taken an interest in learning techniques and being more skillful. Loving this channel! My fave part was learning how to make the glowing effect on the bottle. What a transformation! Thank you, Sarah, for all you do!!!
Your New coloring Books sound amazing 😻 love those pages already ❤ be for sure looking out For that when it comes out 😊. Great video very interesting watching you colour in. Have a Fantastic time at the event Take care 🥰
I had to laugh at the winging it with the moth!! 😂 The moth came out lovely! 🦋 It was awesome how you simplified the glow and glass effects!! 🥛 Thank you!! 🤗
Loved this tutorial Sarah! You explained so much technique in it. Really important points for the new colourists to know, and a great refresher course for the rest of us! I had to leave early, so it's great to be able to watch the day later. Great colour along Sarah .... Thank-you so much ❤ (looking forward to your drawing video🥰)
Watched this on replay, loved it great snippets of information Never knew I could do that on the phone with colour etc brilliant. Love your videos..thank you.
I have your color cubes….not from watching you, but as a referral item from another U tuber! Love them , but I have never seen you on you-tube or any other source. So today I came across this video and decided to invest 2 hrs. in watching as it is a rainy cozy day, perfect for videos! You are spectacular! Not a adjectives used lightly, but in your case, it is true in every sense of the word. I could not believe how you took those little tiny pictures and transformed them into mesmerizing, colorful, really pretty and artful works! I was not expecting such innate talent and so effortlessly!! I am truly dazzled! You can bet the rest of the day will be filled with Sarah Renae Clark. Thank you for sharing your talents and tips! A new fan loving her new “discovery”!
Louisiana native here: enjoy New Orleans! I'd never want to live there, but it's a great place to visit. Lots of good food! Definitely go to Cafe du Monde!
I'm rewatching now and I never knew Billiards tables were called hooker's tables. From what I've watched the reason it is called Hooker's Green is after William Jackson Hooker, a renowned English botanist and botanical illustrator that finally was able to make that particular hue/shade of green stable. Therefore, it was able to be used in art more readily.
ohh no I missed it!! loved the butterfly!! also, do u have a tutorial for drawing wood? (even a blog post is ok.. im trying to draw a treasure chest n i have a gemstone and gold tutorial from your channel)
Any tips on how to use Polys on the paper in the Small Victories book? I have a light hand, and do lots of layers, but still get lots of inconsistencies in the laydown (makes scratches/dents in the paper, (I prefer toothier paper with polys, but the small details in this book bed for polys!!)
I just got an AfMat electric pencil it automatically stops sharpening when pencil is sharp and ejects the pencil and all electric I love it - 3 sizes of points to chose from
You be d to stick to the same colors you like. I love using your color cube to challenge myself to get away from my favorite colors. I close my eyes, reach in, and pull out a random card, and force myself to use the colors on the card, no matter what they are. I do the same with the pages in my coloring book too. Ill either flip to a random page and that's what I color, or ill use a set of dice to pick my page number. I do have both your color cubes.
Wouldn't it be easier to grab a light, dark and mid tone pencil for each color on your color pallet? Then you have highlight and shadow colors ready to go?
I'm so sorry that I missed your video live. I thought it was later than it was. Time change eh! Anyways I have some questions. I noticed that the Small Victories book does not lay flat and I wanted to know how you do the left side when the page is coming up.
I love your colour boxes that I ordered last year. Just one question, do you sell a catalogue with pencils combos? I love the Pablo's pencils from Caran d'Ache and also the museum and Supracolors. Thanks for your time and your answer.
Hello! I have a question. Would you ever do a video on watercolors? I'm an artist and have a Facebook. I work mainly in watercolors. Thank you for your time!! Have a nice day.☺️
New Orleans?? Charleston SC is pretty close with beaches, ancient trees, history (civil war) and SHRIMP, BLUE CRABS, She crab soup and lots of squirrels!
Those pencils look like they have great pigment. I have been looking for something to color my double sided pper with that has good pigment but is affordable cause I am on a fixed income (SS).
@@SarahRenaeClark I thought it looked like u were when u we’re doing a swatch kind of quickly it looked heavy handed, at least I know it’s possible w practice to lighten up some :) I love your work, you’re incredibly talented
❤I really got a lot out of how you took a real jar photo and used it for reference to color in the leaves jar. I also loved seeing how you do a glow effect on the bottle. How you chose your working palette is also very informative. Thanks.
I purchased an expensive pencil sharpener that was electric and the gears kept breaking and would eat up pencils bad. Manual sharpeners like the Dahl 133 is the way to go.
Sarah, could you please tell me some examples of papers for Pollychromos? I know you made video of papers, I watched by the time you did, but still. all I see is me wasting money and never getting the correct paper for it. I live in Denmark and many papers I see people on yt using I cannot find here. thank you
Paper depends more on your preference of drawing. Polychromos are good with most paper, but textured is a little better. I’d avoid anything super smooth.
@@SarahRenaeClark Hi Sarah thanks for reply me . I would like to try some realism and learn more layer and this stuff. I got one from Fabriano 1264 green square at the cover and seems like what you described, but when I use Polychromos there, it cannot fill all little white spaces and by adding color in the end just don't looks like one whole color but a mix of many things. That's why I asked cause papers are expensive and I cannot waste anymore.
Sarah, I really enjoyed this video and hearing about what you are up to with your new coloring book. Congratulations! I love this color cube and I would love to feature it on my channel. I am also a colored pencil artist and I would love to share this as a resource. I'm going to hunt down your email and send you a message! Keep an eye out:)

Loved the coloring glass bit. I've never colored glass, but you're approach and explanation really made it make sense. Thank you, Sarah 😄
Glad it was helpful!

For that when it comes out 😊. Great video very interesting watching you colour in.

Looks more like a moth than a butterfly. It’s beautiful all the same!

Oh you’re right! I don’t know where I got my info from. I must have misremembered this. Thanks for fact-checking!
Wish I caught this live, wonderful stream ☺☺
I love all my blackwing sharpeners. But I use them for their graphite to draw. However they work well with the uni posca pencils.

Love these type of lessons can we have more of these ❤❤❤

I don’t really have this issue. What sharpener are you using on the pencils? I find they are quite smooth to use when sharpened nicely.
Thanks for the livestream Sarah. Will join again next time. I love it.
You are the best Sarah
Love you so much 💖
Love these colour combos. Do you need to have volume 1 and 2 to be able to have a full colour wheel. Xxx
I love this video so much!!! Thank you 🙏 ❤

I sometimes miss coloring if I do another craft. I always love to come back to my art babies.😂
Can you describe how "durable" the paper? Good for markers & pencils? Layering? Been wanting a good coloring book, how is this?
Love your videos !!!!
hey, there can you post a video to improve colour pencil drawings , without an white colour pencil or alcohol blender
How is she so good at art
😮
your nails are looking nice Sarah !!
Thanks! I’ve been trying to break my bad biting habit
Hi, what would be your top 12 prisamacolor pencils? I don’t own any yet and would like to try before I buy the 150 set? Please/ thanks
Melody
I want to color cube I hope you guys bring into the US like a hobby lobby another stores

Try the AFMAT coloured pencil sharpener 😎
Aren’t you tempted to color your wallpaper? I don’t think I could help myself 😁
Just curious is there a chance it will be the size of Small Victories?
I only have the 36 set of FBC polychromos, what is complimentary set of pencils to use with these, to get my missing colors?
I love your colour boxes that I ordered last year.
Just one question, do you sell a catalogue with pencils combos? I love the Pablo's pencils from Caran d'Ache and also the museum and Supracolors.
Thanks for your time and your answer.
I have a digital download version available with different pencils. It’s called the “Color Catalog Companion” and is available on my website
I love your vids so much ❤❤❤❤

Great idea! I tried watercolor in my “4 Artists teach me how to paint” last year. I’d love to do it again!
Pencil sharpener do you use😊

Amazing 😍
Would you say you’re more heavy handed? I struggle w heavy hand, even when I hold the pencil back further
I’m naturally heavy handed, but with practice I’ve been able to color lighter.

Caput mortuum is a Latin term whose literal meaning is "dead head" or "worthless remains", used in alchemy
How did you get the picture from the Kmart website to be able to change the color, tint, etc? I don't know how to do that. Thank you!
Just take a screenshot and then you can edit it on your phone!
Thank you for your reply and information!@@SarahRenaeClark

Hi sharah may i ask what editor younuded for the glass?
“PS Express” but lots of apps can do similar

Caput (head) mortuum (dead).
The view from the side is confusing... why film from alongside your hand? Am I the only one who can't see what's going on from that angle?
I love my marking electric sharpener - Sharon Amazon
I pick the girl picture. I think it would be awesome to see your results
What paint pens do you use?
Artistro
