It's nice these games are finally getting some kind of a physical release.
But there were already physicals through Limited Run.

It sucks that physical games nearly don't exist for PC. theindiebox doesn't seem to sell anything new. I don't like Sony(issue against their policies), Nintendo games don't have achievements, and Xbox doesn't have games that I wanna play. Granted, I'm sure there are plenty of games I'd want to play on Game Pass, but thats still not physical and I don't even know if Game Pass has achievements either.
It's become more common as of late for inti creates to have a japanese physical releases.Not to mention if you miss out on the lrg release it helps the ps4 and switch are region free.

If these games have an English translation, that would make them a more affordable option (at least for the first game. CotM 2 is still pretty easy to find and is rather cheap). Plus it’d be nice to have both games bundled together on the same disc/cart.
Nice that the Bloodstained games are still kicking, looking forward for Igarashi-san plans for the franchise's future as the games are simply fun to play.
With the rumors of Castlevania coming back, I feel like it was a bad move for Igarashi to make a game that's nothing more than a clone of Castlevania rather than something with aesthetics that differs from Castlevania. That way this series wouldn't feel not needed anymore.

@@Noname15514 the reason he made it in that way in the first place, both the Curse of the Moon series and Ritual of the Moon, was to show Konami that there is still a market for it since Konami continiusly denied the start of a new Castlevania project on the ground that people nowdays no longer want Castlevania like games
Igarashi has also stated that he wants to go back to Konami to work on the next Castlevania, wether he succeded or not is another matter
@@Noname15514 To be fair, the reason why Iga made Bloodstained is becuase Konami refused to do anything with Castlevania except gambling machines. Not to mention Konami is a terrible company through and through.
Just play Dead Cells, waaaaay better than Bloodzzzzzztained.
I usually don’t come back to replay games I’ve already got 100% on… but hearing those chiptunes again gets me HYPE

That voice is silky smooth. Also that rendition at the end is so beautiful sounding in chiptune format.
Characters designs in Bloodstained are just so beautiful. Amazingly attractive.

So, a compilation? I would have loved a third Curse of the Moon to round things off, but this is good too. Even though I already got both physical copies from Limited Run.

These games are amazing. I have the LRG physical for both but would gladly pick up that Collectors Edition version they showed at the end. Fingers crossed that we get a part 3!

I love the Bloodstained games. Especially the 2 Curse of the Moon games.....I hope we get "Bloodstained - Curse of the Moon 3". The "Curse" series DESERVES to have a trilogy.

may I direct your attention to Gal Guardians? It plays exactly like what CotM3 would be...just with a Gal-Gun re-skin
@@AzureMoebius22 As much as I liked the increased difficulty. I agree. That Egyptian Coffin Boss on the Episode 2 was way too much. Those flying rings are already very hard and having two of them is insane.
Also the plattforming section with the spikes on the ceiling is just rage inducing if you don’t have the right subweapons.
@@Ropewatch I feel no personal shame in admitting this, it got to the point where I just said fuck it and did the rest of it on Easy Mode. Veteran Mode is more tolerable if you're using ultimate Zangetsu. Honestly, they either should have let you keep the Soul Eraser or made it to where the other sword had the charge attack and you could switch between the two swords.
God i love Bloodstained series, I hope more will come in the future 👍
Not that I would be against importing the game, I just hope it gets an official western release too. I just finished Ritual, so I would love to give these a try too!

サントラ欲しかったんだよなあ、でももう個別に買ってるから悩むわ…
A few thoughts:
1. Look at the gameplay footage at 2:02 - THEY THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING!
2. As much as I ADORE both of these games, I don't really know where they could go with another sequel. No spoilers, but the ending to the second game was VERY conclusive and the gameplay as a whole is pretty much perfected (with the generous exception of reusing enemies across both games and the difficulty spike in levels 5 and 6 from COTM2).
3. It feels so good to finally have physical media of both of these games?

I always liked how caring (yet TOO teasy) Dominique is in Curse of the Moon, she would even sacrifice her life for the sake of your group. Unlike in ROTN, where she was a treacherous woman.
She still has her manipulative side but her intentions were good. Still Zangetsu was right about the "other" sword not being particularly hard to find.

Oh my dog!!! since i played Curse of the moon and finished, i purchased Ritual of the night, then curse of the moon 2 and loved all of Bloodstained
一作目マジで面白かったな
カジュアルモードのおかげでヘタな自分でもナイトメアモードは一応クリアできたし、最後まで楽しめた。
続編の2はちょっと難しすぎたけど…

２作目は仕掛けが嫌らしいよね。カエルと崩れる足場の組み合わせはキレそうになった

Does this have any unique features not seen in the original digital versions or am I fine with downloading both games on my Xbox Series X console from the Microsoft Store with out FOMO on certain stuff? Been wanting to get both Castlevania and Bloodstained stuff on my shiny new Xbox Series X.

Ugh..damn I saw Chronicles and I had flashes of Castlevania Chronicles in my head, thinking they remade these two games with 16-bit graphics. One can dream huh. Anyway, these games aren't even that old, isn't it weird to already be grouping them together? Is it literally just for the purpose of having a physical release?
That's how Nintendo physical releases are. Triple releases like Kingdom Hearts is quite rare for Switch
