hope u have fitted reinforcing wedge or massive thick washer 6mm or so on inside of wing attach fittings as per the mw mods ,,,cracks have develpoed across the hole resulting in fatalities please share with other challenger owners

Phil, I have the aluminum spacers that conform to the longerons, and the rony brackets fit flat against them. Are you talking about a washer at the head of the strut bolt?

Yes I have the heavy lift kit installed since floats installed and also change out roney brackets every 100 hrs since their are so low cost

@@realairplane261 yes stress analysis by mike whittaker said it needs a thick washer but really a wedge decent thickness to spread the load i use 6mm

Whats your useful load on that setup?
I have carried 10 gal of fuel in the tank, and 370 lbs of two passengers off the water..it climbs very slow like that, but flys.
