Got the nerve up to mill holes for the H, L and LA screws. Bummed out to find that you need to change the top handle, otherwise the choke is not held closed during starting attempts.
@@NewEnglandChainsawWorks Thanks. Since the saw is basically new, I just sprung for a new top handle assembly. Just one more surprise today ... the casting "D" opening and the grommet for the MT are much larger than the non MT to accomodate the MT wire count. Will either make a grommet or sacrifice the MT harness to get that one.
Conversion done. Also discovered that air filter, intake baffle, base, etc. are all incompatible with the 201TC-M, along with the grommet mentioned and for a new top handle, the ground wire needs a ring terminal or other alteration for the 201TC-M casting. And my saw, MT or non, is almost impossible to pull. Everything possible has been looked into. It comes down to moderately high compression and a small diameter design of the pull cord pulley. Solution, other than another back sprain, has been to hold it down with a socked foot, pulling with one or even two hands. But I love this little thing, especially now that I control its mind.

What carb do I order to do this?
Did you replace the top handle? If not, how are you choking during a start? The 201T top handle is different.
No. The customer was ok with holding the lever down during a cold start.
