I bought a ported 201t from @teamripsawusa about 3 months ago because of this video. Been running it every single day since then and I absolutely love it.
Thanks for getting me up and running with the proper round file on my chain. Thought I might try the square file but priced your grinder and I'll be sticking with the round. And heck, for 1 or 2 seconds longer on my average cut, round is great. Especially having learned how well it can do from your lessons. Thank you much Buckin'. Hope that shoulder gets better quick. And you do have some really sweet saws. Joy to see them running.
i converted all my chains to square ground except my climbing saw because of buckin' but i just bought a double bevel file for like 20 bucks and spent about a hour filing away and my 372 rips man!!!
Yeah ripsaw is absolutely amazing I've said it several several times I have a few saws from them a bunch of my buddies have bought saws off of them I live an hour away from them they are amazing I know saws are expensive doing work to them is expensive but to me it's worth it especially when you're cutting all day.
I was told that the reason the small chain saws don't have a metal dog is because they are made to climb a tree with and Stihll doesn't want the saw to be gripping into the tree if there is a problem while you are hanging by a rope. Don't worry I put metal dogs on my Stihl 194, and I have had no problems with it.
I get in the habit of PULLING those caps before I assume they’re locked and throw the turner down. It will save you a leg full of oil or even oiling your rope when you’re pulling it up. Pull them first, then fold the tab down.
Like you said over the past, your videos are not just about saws. How to be awesome parents is another strong message your channel conveys to us. Very thankful for your example as a father - I appreciate and am influenced by your parenting style 🙂
Sorry i know this isn't really the video to be askig this, but it's that last place I can go for good advice does anyone know if a 462 full wrapnhandle will fit a 500i, or if theres a 500i specific fullwrap handle where can I get one in the uk

I'm not saying this to be mean or rude any way shape or form I'm all about love and respect in this world one another when it comes to chainsaws ripsaw is amazing the wait time is unbelievable the last song I got I waited a year and a month for a 2511 when I got it it does do amazing things there's a guy Red Beard saws he does amazing work just as well and his wait time is usually 8 to 12 weeks 10 times shorter so I'm not trying to put anybody down I'm just saying if anybody needs anything a little bit faster Red Beard saws check them out God bless everybody ripsaw is great too just the wait time if you don't want to wait Red Beard saws God bless

The 201 seams to be the weapon of choice her in Australia but it would set you back around 17 to $1800!, too rich for my blood unfortunately!. Got myself a second hand ms 250 stihl for cheap, done a few mods & it euns & cuts really well.

I love the Stihl fuel caps, so satisfying to turn them.
Husky flippy caps are even better. They can also be retrofitted to the old saws. I like my Stihl flippys, but Husky nailed it.

What's your opinion on RIPSAW saws? We ordered a 661, which should be here in Northern California next week.
