  • Exploring an abandoned Mansion with its own chapel and crypt, the oldest graves in the crypt were from the 18th century.
    Einer der Lost Places die wir auf unserer Italien Tour besucht haben war eine Villa mit einer eigenen Kapelle und Krypta in der bereits im 18. Jahrhundert Leute bestattet wurden.

    This house is still in good condition, except the wall paper. Really beautiful home.

    There are quite a few urban explorers with videos on here, and I just now came across your name and this Italian mansion as a recommended video to watch. It fascinates me that so many people are drawn to decay and abandoned houses, finding a certain melancholic beauty in them. As one of these people, I appreciate the efforts of explorers like you to record these places. Your pictures and videos capture them at a certain moment in time as they continue to succumb to Mother Nature. One day, they may be gone forever, so your recorded images will be a valuable testament to a way of life long gone.

    I would move in. The family below chapel can hang out with me. I would RESTORE the chapel, hang a plaque honoring family. Live in 2/3rds of building. It needs a Fountain in the front yard. Would be lovely entrance to this elegant Home.

    very beautiful, I loved the marble around the doorways, so many beautiful things. I suppose someone must be incredibly wealthy to have had their own chapel and crypt! for it to be so old, it seems pretty sturdy overall, it makes you wonder if all the family died off, and why no one would want to restore it and possibly live there or for historical reasons.

    • @UrbexTyrol
      @UrbexTyrol  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well yes the family certainly had to be very wealthy to build such a thing, for why it is abandoned I think the most plausible cause is either as you said that the family died off or the remaining familymembers don't have enough money for the upkeep of such a building and moved away.

    • @masonmccarrell3850
      @masonmccarrell3850 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Urbex Tyrol yes, I guess it would be very expensive to keep up, I wouldn't want to pay a light bill for that place! in America, it would probably be turned over to the state, and would be restored through funds for historical purposes, I'm not sure exactly how that works, but it does seem a shame that it will eventually just rot away and crumble to the ground. I subscribed, some of the places you go may be only a matter of time before they no longer exist, and I don't want to miss out seeing something that I would probably would have never got to see in my lifetime.

    • @UrbexTyrol
      @UrbexTyrol  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well it's similar here, if nobody inherits it, the building goes to the
      state, however in Italy there are thousands of years of history and a
      sheer unlimited amount of corresponding buildings, so not all of them
      will be cared for, only if it has real cultural value. And we really
      appreciate gaining you as a sbscriber.

    • @masonmccarrell3850
      @masonmccarrell3850 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problem! Can't wait to see more of your videos. Its almost like being able to travel and see other parts of the world without leaving your home! And I also like that you are respectful to the places you visit, a lot of times in America you will see a lot of graffiti and vandalism. I'm sure there are places like that there as well, but it just don't seem to be as often.

    • @UrbexTyrol
      @UrbexTyrol  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, there are plenty of places with graffiti and vandalism here as well, but generally we mostly avoid those, as it's not really what we like to see.

    I envy the family who resided here over the generations!! the
    energy is warm and welcoming so you know, over
    the decades much
    happiness filled those rooms.
    it shows in just how well maintained it was. You're right, the wallpaper is a little much but the painting on the
    hallway ceiling is spectacular
    so is the chapel with its muted colors and the crypt
    is like out of an Anne Rice novel. Im curious bout the orrnate oval shaped floor grate and its
    purpose. Im guessing it's for ventalation? I wanna live in that house!! 😎 thank u so much for sharing your explores! 🙏

    Hello. What an awesome place! But if I may make a friendly suggestion. If you could slow down a bit and also let us see what you're seeing for a while longer that would be great. The ceiling in the carriage room looked very interesting but you passed it by. And in the crypt, I would have loved to have read a couple of the older grave plaques. Lucky you, getting to visit these places! Good job, thanks! ☺

    • @UrbexTyrol
      @UrbexTyrol  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well thank you, and yes I understand what you mean, however the problem is that not everyone enjoys the fine artwork on the ceiling the same and I have to compromise for a nice viewing experience for everyone :). Regarding the crypt, I always feel a bit conflicted with such things and the main reasons to not film more were the respect towards those buried there and their families and to not give people with possibly malicious intent enough information to find the place.

      Hey, yes as with all buildings that are inhabited for longer periods of time, the owners will want to adapt to modern technologies, which means introducing central heating, electricity or running water to the building, neither of those were available when the building was built.

      I'm really sorry, but there is nothing else I could show, the video covers 80% of the building and the parts not shown are white, empty rooms, really not that interesting...

    Oh my, I bet that house is still owned by the family, otherwise those bodies would have had to be moved.

      It could be that they still own it, but wouldn't bet on it.

    Very great place. Its shame, that the soundtrack from Tales from the Crypt is only in the beginning.

    • @UrbexTyrol

      Would you honestly like to hear that song during the whole video? :D

    • @cyberdynefirefox3681
      @cyberdynefirefox3681 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think not only that song, but to others songs from Tales from the Crypt or Tales from the Cryptkeeper

    • @UrbexTyrol
      @UrbexTyrol  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well that would be hard, since this version is altered and not copyrighted, if I would use the original tracks I'd get a copyright claim for sure.

    • @cyberdynefirefox3681
      @cyberdynefirefox3681 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is not a big problem. When I made my short movie The Colporteur, I use my favorite music from my country and I talk to owner. He gave my copyright and I can also in movie festival show.

    I would like to think that I won’t care where I’m buried or if I’m buried when I die. But just in case, I wanna be cremated and spread my ashes outside in the forest or something. I don’t wanna be rotting away in a house I lived in.
