Not quite "lost" yet . . . But I fear it would take 10 million euros to fix up at this point. The locals will have to start their own conservation group to call attention and raise funds, as we here in Los Angeles do when a building is threatened. I love this explore for its own sake, but also really appreciate all the historical research you did 👏🏼😻👍🏽
Well, germany certainly has the money. You don't want to know how many money they spent in new projects to benefit the economy. They could have renovated thousands of buildings like these for only one of the projects they've eagerly spent money into. Buildings like these simply don't get restaurated because the german state is not interested in protecting it's culture and historical buildings. They are more interested in growing profit and following their anti-german ideologies. The sooner the germans forget about their roots the easier they can make the people more willing to forget about their heritage and establish an all-european-goverment which would much more resemble the USA than the cooperation of european states. Robbing the europeans of their identity to form them into a new identity is their priority. And that's also the reason why germany's population shrinked to 60% ethnic germans from 99,5% ethnic germans since the 1950's. They want the germans to lose their identity and national feeling. If you control germany you control the dominant power in the EU which makes any next moves much easier.
What a sight for sore eyes. This castle is absolutely beautiful even in its sad times, if only it could be restored and opened as a tourist attraction. I definitely would fly from here in New Zealand to visit such a historical place.
The videography was professional. When you showed your face at end, I gasped, you could be one of my sons. Are you German? As you can see from our last name, our ancestry is German. Excellent tutorial of the history of this magnificent castle. Ironic that wealth built this castle and poverty sees it spiraling into decay. Its rescue remains to be seen.
You guys are outstanding in your field and I really mean that. You approach urban exploring and put together your episodes, from the point of the people who lived their lives in these homes, no matter how big or small, I completely admire your work and hope that by the time I get up to date with the episodes that I read you are an award winning channel......I'm currently two years behind you latest show 😁
I just love the way you present your videos. Just beautiful presentation n narrative. This wonderful place needs love n care from someone who will restore to it's former grandure. So much history to see decay. Loved the entrance hall n the piano room. Lovely. Stay safe on your journey. God bless.
So sad such a beautiful place just rotting away. Thanks for such a wonderful video. Your videos are always great. Hopefully someone will buy it and save it.
What an AMAZING Castle!! I can't get over what they were able to construct and build in times past. The beauty and workmanship is indescribable!! Nowadays they can't compete with the class and elegance of these buildings. The true builders and artists live back in the past and I fear, are never to return. HOW SAD!! I believe these places should be restored by the Government for the sake of not only being of historical significance, but also for the entire population. I pray that it is never replaced by a soulless modern square glass edifice, like most building are, today. I love your storyline, music, description and expression. Thankyou and Welldone!!
I just found your channel, and just wanted to say, I love listening to your narration, and I love the beautiful places you guys find. There is almost always something so beautiful it makes your heart ache to see it fall apart. Some of these places are so beautiful it’s hard to believe someone wasn’t sitting there 5minutes ago..... your thought process, the ode to the people that once were n these walls. This is a beautiful thing. Thank you for these little joys 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Love your work. Your narrative is informative, easy to follow, and I enjoy listening to you. You are able to tell the story of it's history and have me feel as though i am there exploring with you. Thank you for taking us along on your journey! Well done!
Hi BWT 😊. Here in the UK, we have a charity called the National Trust. They buy and maintain historic properties, and open them to the public who pay an entrance fee Is there anything similar in Germany? What a beautiful video x
The National Trust has done truly magnificent work and Germany and all of Europe should catch a serious wake up!. The UK is now reaping dividends on their investment which continue to grow exponentially. Carry on destroying your magnificent history - why would I want to visit a Europe full of African squatters and apartment blocks - no way!.
Someone else commented it & I agree- these folks are the National Geographic of Urbex! It’s true!!! These videos are just in another universe with even the biggest channels!! The humble & respectful approach to document & record the history, the backstory to the places & things, the artistic quality of the photography & videography - it’s just incredible!!!! Each video is a delight! It feels almost like actually being there in person & I always learn something interesting!! KUDOS! This is pretty much the only Urbex channel I can stand to watch, if I do watch any videos on other channels I have to mute the volume & fast forward through a lot. Their juvenile approach to the entire project, the inappropriate music, the way they have to handle, poke, prod & move objects, the commotion between the explorers, their ignorance as to the history of the places & things, their disregard of dangerous situations like black mold etc is just beyond annoying & makes it just impossible for me to enjoy looking at the places filmed. This channel has NONE of those issues - AT ALL!!! There’s just absolutely no comparison to be perfectly honest! 👏👏👏👏👏
Great family history. Its a shame this haunting castle is left to rot. I love your photography, I can see the faded beauty of each room. Great voice and dialogue as well. I hope this amazing castle is brought back to life. One day. Hauntingly lovely castle....
Once again, another incredible video!! Such a beautiful series of buildings left to rot. It should be a crime. I especially love the detailed history telling and the cinematics....and the well spoken voice lulls me into such a relaxed state making watching this video even better. Very well done Sir!! Please....keep doing what you are doing.
Oh my Gods! What a beautiful property, it is so sad that no one wants to restore this grand old Lady to her former glory. I was aware of the way Germany was treated by the USSR following WWII, but you bring that dry knowledge into vibrant life with your narrative. The stables alone could become a luxurious home, and your skill with photography shows a glimpse of just how fine it all was in its day. I loved the segue from you plunking on the piano into the accompanying music, it was the perfect touch. Your still shots show the care you take with composition and mood. Surely someone can see a plan for this castle that will save it from the inevitable decline it is facing. I seriously appreciate the love you display for the places you explore, and am very glad to see new offerings from you...looking forward to your rambles through Italy. You genuinely provide quality work each and every time, and I thank you for that. It really IS the perfect place for good Witches to enjoy. Stay safe out there. 🖤🇨🇦
It is so sad that something so beautiful and full of history and potencial is slowly getting ruined by time and none is doing anything to protect and restore it.It make's me very sad to see that but it also brings up hope that someone will see this and decide to take action.Thank you for sharing this with us it is incredible and breath taking.
It would be so beautiful if it was restored. This might just be me but I think this might be a good school like a boarding school. Or just be restored so the general public can see the glory of it.
Wow, amazing video guys, hauntingly romantic, views beyond serialism, commentary with the speed and peace of a sleeping baby, calm, sparse yet rhythmic, award winning presentations front to back. The best part is no matter the country, location, # of crew…all your videos are extremely consistent, an amazing escape into where ever you go, priceless really.
With all that said (written) Some might not but I am aware of what it takes to work behind a lens of any kind, still or video I.e. lighting (a whole mess by itself) composition, p.o.v., tilt, zoom, panning, % shots like full frame, med., close, xclose, walk through, walk up, walk away, up or down shot…to name some basics. You cats are awesome, watching these for me is like going into a museum, of the best kind. Bravo

I agree with the person who said that the person who narrated this story has a soothing voice. So much history experienced in this castle. Shame that it is neglected. The view alone is spectacular.
This was an excellent production. The lighted colour photos following the flashlight lit views were stunning. The presenters had done their homework. Dialogue was provided in a professional and knowledgeable manner, unlike some other "explorers". Well done
the common problem is money, the costs far exceed what most people can do to save the history of the building. Like Lord Carnarvon's Highclere castle in U.K. is "Downton Abbey"
the difference is places like that, even when needing restoration, still contain living history, a noble family that still reside there along with their luxurious and historic posessions. saving an empty house is not quite the same.

Viel Spaß beim Urbexen auf eurem Italientrip, einen schönen Sonntagabend + many greetings to you and Bryan and Michael of The Proper People 😂😂😂.
This is a wonderful treasure for a kind-hearted family with money to bring a large vision to the place, possibly a researcher, who can spend his summers delighting kids with its rich history, showing it prominent place in the larger community nearby. Some of the previous owners were kind-hearted, though rich, people who did the right thing in the service of the locals.
It is such a shame that it's decaying slowly; it should be consider a national treasure and be saved by the government. I love the color pictures that you showed; it shows the true beauty of the rooms. The young man playing the piano; bravo!!!!! not just a great explorer but very talented as well.

Not quite "lost" yet . . . But I fear it would take 10 million euros to fix up at this point. The locals will have to start their own conservation group to call attention and raise funds, as we here in Los Angeles do when a building is threatened. I love this explore for its own sake, but also really appreciate all the historical research you did 👏🏼😻👍🏽
Fitzroi Because usually the locals care a lot more than the government or anyone else.
Over 11 million dollars in usa money..WOW I need to win more than 1 lottery.lol

If there are any Restoration experts watching this, is there *any* way to save this lovely piece of history?!
It's not as bad as you think the only problem is having the money to restore it, would cost millions I'm afraid
So many orbs from so many traumatic events, needs a really big energetic clearing...beautiful production work thank you.
Alannah Ryane yes I noticed this too. Alot
I usually dislike videos of youtubers exploring abandoned places, but this youtuber is really soothing. Subscribed
OK I’m a fan after just one video. This particular castle is stunning. I hope someone buys it an gives it the attention it needs.
What a sight for sore eyes. This castle is absolutely beautiful even in its sad times, if only it could be restored and opened as a tourist attraction. I definitely would fly from here in New Zealand to visit such a historical place.
It broke my heart to see the state of this castle. I wish I had the money to fix it. God bless you for sharing. I can tell you care too.
God bless.
What a beautiful piece of history. It's heartbreaking that it's slowly wasting away from decay. Great video as always
So sad such a beautiful place just rotting away. Thanks for such a wonderful video. Your videos are always great. Hopefully someone will buy it and save it.
Theresa Wilson . Who could afford it :/
What an AMAZING Castle!!
2nd time watching this. It's magical to look at. I wish I lived in Europe...
Taxes are a lot higher as well as censorship, gas, insurance, etc its breathtaking but much harder to live there than the states or Australia
I love your videos, you guys always have great content!
Haha, thanks! But watch the video at first, pls. 😂
You always do a nice job showing the old, decaying buildings. You’re very respectful and the music and narration are very enjoyable.
Thank you, Eileen. We upload a similar video tomorrow!
Love watching these historical discoveries from the other side of the world ❤️ 🇦🇺
Love your work.
They buy and maintain historic properties, and open them to the public who pay an entrance fee
Is there anything similar in Germany?
What a beautiful video x
Yea, I think there's something like that here, but of course they won't care about every building
In Spain we tried to do something similarly . Paradores Nacionales, 5 or 4 stars hotels run by State. But after 2008I think everything was privatised.
What a beautiful place! Let's hope someone rescues it! It's simply gorgeous!
What a great video, very informative, really liked this style of production. Thanks.
Oh to go back in time and see this mansion in its glory days and how people lived in it
watch Bibi und Tina. many scenes were filmed there
It is so sad that something so beautiful and full of history and potencial is slowly getting ruined by time and none is doing anything to protect and restore it.It make's me very sad to see that but it also brings up hope that someone will see this and decide to take action.Thank you for sharing this with us it is incredible and breath taking.
This is another great film by you guys its a shame that the state does not step in to buy/preserve this piece of history
There are over 25 000 historical castles in Germany alone. This one isn't that beautiful to begin with even when revived. You can't save everything.
It would be so beautiful if it was restored. This might just be me but I think this might be a good school like a boarding school. Or just be restored so the general public can see the glory of it.
It's really sad that a once beautiful landmark such as this has fallen into such a state of despair.
Bravo
It's a pleasure to see your videos with a Spanish translator since I don't speak English, I'm very happy to see this video with a translator, thank you very much
That was amazing! Thank you so much for giving us the history on these places! Hope someone steps in and restores this place.
You show a lot of promise as a filmmaker... this one is very well done!
Que padre que pusiste subtítulos, agradecida ya que habemos personas que nos agradan ese tipo de información y de abandonos. Bendiciones salidos desde México.
I agree with the person who said that the person who narrated this story has a soothing voice. So much history experienced in this castle. Shame that it is neglected. The view alone is spectacular.
I binged on decaying homes and mansions on yt today and unlike others, this one is so well researched and not full of gibber, nice work!
Welcome to our channel!
Be prepared for your subs to grow exponentially if they showcase you on their channel as well. You most definitely deserve it.
Hauntingly beautiful,I can only imagine what it must have been like, all those years ago!! Great video, thank you for sharing!!
Absolutely touching video coupled with poignant narration. The best of years will soon come for this manor.
This was an excellent production. The lighted colour photos following the flashlight lit views were stunning. The presenters had done their homework. Dialogue was provided in a professional and knowledgeable manner, unlike some other "explorers". Well done
Thank you for making this video and giving a voice to forgotten treasures like this castle.
You're welcome.
Que pena deixar algo tão belo se perder no tempo...
Obrigado por conter legendas em Português, tbm.👍
Eu também sempre agradeço as legendas. 👍🏻
@@Jaquerida7 canal q disponibiliza legendas em vários idiomas, sabe q vai receber mais 'likes', né? 😉 👍👍
the common problem is money, the costs far exceed what most people can do to save the history of the building. Like Lord Carnarvon's Highclere castle in U.K. is "Downton Abbey"
the difference is places like that, even when needing restoration, still contain living history, a noble family that still reside there along with their luxurious and historic posessions. saving an empty house is not quite the same.
true and there's nothing left inside anymore. Would visitor pay to visit an empty house? You will need more stuff
Thankfully because of the popularity of Downtown Abbey, Highclere will have so many tourists for years to come.
Que Castillo increíble, lástima el abandono, quiero agradecerle los subtítulos en español, por fin puedo entender un relato magnífico, estoy feliz de poder entenderlo, saludos desde Buenos Aires , Argentina.
Broken Window Theory, your videos never fail me to bring to those places you show more with knowledge about the places- So exciting and thrilling to see what secrets and beauty they hide. Hope to see more videos from you!
What a tragedy! A magnificent piece of architecture, constructed with much care, planning, creativity, sweat, and expertise. A shame someone couldn't purchase this and preserve this piece of history. Thanks for visiting that site and sharing with us.
The castle is beautiful as is the music and you your self !
Makes my heart hurt, to see these magnificent buildings left to decay. All the love is gone, only dark and sadness remain. I live in the U.S. but, my ancestry goes back to Germany.
Bellísimo !!! Lamentable la situación en que se encuentra..Gracias por subtitular el video en español !!!!🇦🇷🤗
Wonderful! It is the third time that I watch this video. I'm from Brazil I'm 43 years old I don't know English. I'm studying just to be able to understand the stories you tell about these places! I've been enchanted since I was a child! Your voice is sweet and calm!
This is a travesty! The castle is gorgeous! Equally gorgeous is the narrator!!!! Why aren’t you modeling! You’re beautiful!
Maravilhoso esse castelo cheio de detalhes, fantástico.parabens
Gorgeous! You do good work and I hope the castle will be saved.
In my ideal life i’d have enough money to find an old mansion like this, restore it, and not let anyone touch it💅🏼
5:36 That piano part thrilled me! Of course, the piano was not in tune, but seeing it in quote an operational state was magic into that environment!
Pianos in abandoned places are pure magic
I love that you're wearing a sea shepherd shirt.
Thank you for telling the history of the castle. I can tell you are sad at it's state if disrepair.
Viel Spaß beim Urbexen auf eurem Italientrip, einen schönen Sonntagabend + many greetings to you and Bryan and Michael of The Proper People 😂😂😂.
Danke!
This place does need to be saved...
It's so beautiful....
Lots of furniture & soft furnishings are must...
Could be a lovely museum...
🙂
Great video thanks :) Proper People and BWT on tour together? That sounds amazing...
GREAT Video! Stay safe boys. Love and hugs to you all from the U.S🇺🇸
Such beautiful videos and background story. I appreciate it as well that your taking pictures of dark places, thus making it brighter for us to see the actual place. Gut gemacht!
